We stayed for three weeks and I would never recommend it. The home did have a fully stocked kitchen with decent appliances, and a great backyard - but that is all I would give credit for. The caretaker did they best he could with the property, but it needs some major work. The roof leaked, soaking through the master bed and carpet. They replaced it with a blow up mattress, which I thought was temporary but was meant to be permanent. At my insistence, they finally got a new bed but the roof/ceiling was never fixed and was still leaking by the time we left. The house smells like mildew/mold. My daughter and myself both were ill while we stayed there with bronchitis/breathing issues. The doctor thinks it was the mold. We felt much better as soon as we left.

Manager response: Last minute before start, renter said she wanted 3 wks instead of 4 wkly + 1 mo. stay. We cancelled her signed rental agreement, though end of season- we'd turned down others to reserve her 2 mo. stay. Security deposit not witheld for broken lease. Rental money due on arrival, but she stated she was paying wkly. 3 wk agreement was signed, which states home is to be left clean/ready to rent at checkout. Roof is only 4 yrs. old. Roofer inspected next day after a freak, severe, deluge overnight, reported on MSN, & said leak was from leaf dam on a fallen branch. To accommodate by next night, an expensive, deluxe, almost bed height, pillow top air bed was placed, with upgrade to queen size, & new sheets. Renter approved bed (moved to diff. part of room). Several nights later, a drip was seen in lighter rain, so caretaker, who lives same street, came to find source of leak, which was found to travel sideways. Roofer repaired roof next day. I have receipts for both visits. After sleeping on blow up for a couple nights, the renter called to say she wanted a new bed. Without hesitation, a brand new mattress, box spring, & frame were bought & in place by next night, with upgraded bed size for remainder of stay. After checkout, home needed 7.5 hrs of cleaning by 2 people for excessive tracked in dirt, leaves, lge amts of pet hairs in rugs, floors & furniture, spills on couch, dirty bathrooms, kitchen, oven, & shower. Cleaning fees were paid from her deposit & balance was mailed to renter, as stated in lease.

We had a very nice stay at this home. Everything worked well, except for the internet connection, which required a good bit of fussing. The property manager, Dan, was very helpful and responsive. The kitchen was nice and well equipped. The house is furnished modestly but is comfortable. There is a big back yard with lots of trees all around. The washer and dryer were great, but it would be nice to have a dishwasher. It is well represented in the photos, and is well maintained.

Nice family house. Great stay.
Nice family house. Great stay.
We had a wonderful stay, wished it could have been longer. It was very comfortable and relaxing. The house was fresh and had no odors. Beds were comfortable along with the couch's. Had what we needed for cooking and cleaning. The caretaker was really freindly and lives near by. He answered any questions we had beforehand and was available if we had more questions or anything he would be there to help or check things out. We definately want to come back, we didn't even want to leave we loved it so much.
