This beautiful, one-bedroom, two-bath condominium in Wailea, Ekahi Village is a stone's throw from beautiful Keawakapu Beach - about as close as you can get to the beach!! It is fully air conditioned and offers a large living/dining room, a fully-appointed kitchen, clothes washer and dryer, hairdryers, two lanais (patios), two full bathrooms and vanity areas, two queen-size beds in the bedroom, and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room. It is a single-level, end-unit on the ground floor.

VRBO Bear stayed here - 07/17/2009 This 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo is in the ideal location for this bear’s Maui vacation adventure! Located in Maui’s premier Wailea resort area called “Wailea Ekahi Village”, this home away from home was the perfect balance of comfort and Aloha style! Surrounded by a garden of colorful tropical flowers, the lanai just off the kitchen and living area is great for dining outside and enjoying the island breeze. Plus, the kitchen provides everything you need to prepare meals. If you want to dine out, there’s a variety of fantastic restaurants nearby and many within walking distance.
The living area was very comfortable with the flavor of Hawaiian furnishings, which provided a welcome, relaxing end to action-packed days! The bedroom, (with two queen sized beds) also had a private lanai for reading or just relaxing.
The condo was just a few steps from one of the pools within the Wailea Ekahi Village, making an energizing early morning (or a refreshing late afternoon) swim very convenient! Additionally, this property was a quick 5 minute walk right out the front door to “Keawakapu Beach”, one of Maui’s most beautiful beaches. A 3 minute stroll to “Mokapu Beach” or “Ulua Beach” brought us to some of the very best snorkeling spots Maui has to offer. No need to drive to the beach, when the ocean is literally right there! If you want to get in a few rounds of golf, check out the gorgeous courses nearby the village.
About 15 miles from the airport but worlds away from the city, the condo was truly a great location for Maui sightseeing and some “beary” good day trips. While staying in this condo, getting to all of Maui’s wonderful places was a breeze! While I relaxed on the beach, my friends drove up to Lahaina to explore the sights. The historic “Iao Needle” was just 16 miles away. You can drive 44 miles to see the sunrise at Haleakala or enjoy an amazingly beautiful 63 mile drive on the “Road to Hana” highway. For a great stroll along the shoreline, don’t forget to check out the beachside path- just down the beach from the condo!

Why the Owner Chose Ekahi Village
We elected to purchase the condo in Ekahi Village because of its great location and genuine Aloha atmosphere. Ekahi Village is a very family-friendly development, yet quiet and sophisticated at the same time. We are just as comfortable in our condo as a retired couple as we were when we had our daughters with us. The main lanai of our condo leads out to a wonderful, large, grassy courtyard that faces the ocean, providing gentle and refreshing ocean breezes and a nice feeling of spaciousness. We selected an "end unit" which provides the benefit of privacy and added quiet.

Hi!! We're Tim and Joyce Taigen, owners of Ekahi Village #20E. Our entire family LOVES Hawaii (especially Maui) and so we purchased a condo there for everyone to enjoy. Ourselves, our parents, our children and our friends have enjoyed the condo immensely and now we're ready to introduce our 3 grandchildren to Maui!! Can't wait!! Tim lived in Hawaii as a child, (even before it was made a state), and we both lived there in the mid-1980's. In our opinion Maui is THE BEST island to visit and the Wailea area is THE BEST part of Maui!! Hope you have a chance to stay in our condo and enjoy THE BEST OF THE BEST!!!!
