Beautiful Villa on the French Riviera near Saint Raphael! In a residential area of St. Aygulf, with a 130 degree, panoramic view of the sea to the east over the Bay of Saint Raphael and up to Dramont Cape, in a 1200 m2 land. The swimming pool is open from June to September.
The resort of St. Aygulf is shaded by pines, cork and holm oaks, from the beach of fine sand, ringed with rocks, there is an attractive view of Frejus Bay and Les Issambres. St. Aygulf is a short distance from many medieval villages and historic sites such as Roquebrune-sur-Argens, Fayence, and Seillans.
St. Aygulf is five kilometers away from Frejus, a village founded by Julius Caesar in 49 B.C. Octavian made it an important naval base where he built the galleys which won the battle of Actium against Cleopatra and Antony. St. Aygulf abuts on St. Raphael, another daughter of Rome.
The large seafront of St. Raphael shows great activity stimulated by the café and shops. There are boat trips from St. Raphael to St. Tropez, Port-Cros, Iles de Lerins. Valescure is an aristocratic extension of St. Raphael, reputed for its golf in a tranquil and mild climate.
Cannes, Mougins and Valauris are about 40 kilometers away from St. Aygulf, by highway A8-E30. The magnificent Corniche de l'Esterel links up St. Raphael and Cannes. It looks out over a bea utiful view with the blood-red porphyry rocks against the cobalt blue of the sea ( French Riviera, Michelin Tourist Guide).
The villa has a main terrace (50 m2) edged with balustrade in front of house, the garden is planted with trees, rosemary, lavender and flowers. It is within a ten minute walk from several beaches on the French Riviera and from shops.

The resort of Saint Aygulf with its shops and market is twenty minutes by bus from the TGV (bullet train) Station of Saint Raphael and ten kilometers away from highway A8-E80 at a point where Nice Airport is at a distance of 60 kilometers.

Booking terms
1. A non-refundable deposit of 25 % will be paid at the time a booking is made and the balance will be settled up 20 days before the date booked.
2. A refundable damage deposit is required at the date booked. It will be sent back to the renter within two weeks after departure.
3. Linens are not provided but can be hired through a local supplier or if needed through the owner.
4. Price is given by week.* USUAL PERIOD OF RENTING IS AT LEAST OF TWO WEEKS, 20% is added for a one week renting *. Rates during children vacations are to be discussed.

The villa that we rented for a week was a great house for eight people. The description and the pictures that are posted on the site are accurate. The house also has a pool which is a great addition to help you cool off because the house is not equipped with AC or fans to cool the night air. The location is very quiet which helps when the windows are open at night. This house is in a residential area with families so it is not the house to rent if you are looking for a late night party house with children that are loud. The location is not great for walking to many restaurants or the beach. You will need a car to get anywhere. You will also need to bring all of the items needed to run the house there is nothing that is included in this house for your stay. The only thing included is dishes and cooking items. So stock up. The house also does not have any beach items so coming from far away you will need to purchase items once you get there or bring it with you. Now I understand why the renter usually rents out for more then just a week. I could see staying in this house for longer then a week because all of the items that you need to purchase before you can live in it. The house was well maintained and the renter responded to our needs very promptly. I would recommend this house to families that wanted to stay somewhere for a period of time but not during the summer months due to the fact that there was not AC.
