This home has a large, screened lanai overlooking the spring fed Weeki Wachee River. There are few stairs to climb and your car parks right by the front door. The property is shaded with large trees but for the sun-worshipper there is open space. The house faces South for maximum exposure to our wonderful Florida sunshine. The exterior and interior are freshly painted and new carpet has been installed. Each of the two bedrooms has a king size bed and the sunroom a day bed with pull out.
The property across the river is undeveloped "Natural Florida". There is a floating dock and a covered boat slip. Many leisure hours can be spent reading or just watching the river roll by. Manatees frequent the area in front of the house as well as the fish and birds that we feed. Two kayaks are included in the rental and there is no better place to view the river than from the kayaks. The water temperature is 72-74 degrees year round and a lovely place to swim. For boaters, the Gulf of Mexico can be accessed easily. While the location feels remote, there are lovely neighbors, shopping, dining, and entertainment in nearby Spring Hill, Brooksville, Homosassa Springs, and Crystal River.

This is a new rental and currently has its first visitor. I have taken great care to make this home the place that I would like to visit. Many comforts have been added to make stays so enjoyable that visitors will look forward to returning.
