We stayed at Elisa Court from 2 May to 15 May 2012. There were four adults in our group. Elisa Court is a fantastic basic holiday flat. It is literally 2 minutes to the Goodge Street tube stop. The Goodge Street tube stop is at a location on the Northern line that makes getting around London simple. The Tesco supermarket is just about as close. The close proximity to the tube and Tesco were important for us. The flat is plain but adequate for four adults. It is clean. The beds are okay. The appliances all worked. The bottom shelf of the refrigerator stays quite a bit colder than the top shelf. The shower had good pressure and there was enough hot water for us to each take a shower one after another. The kitchen had enough dishes, pots, pans, cutlery for all of us. The flat is secure. There is a lock on the door going into the building and the flat has a lock as well. The area around the building is mostly office businesses. So at night when everyone goes home, it is quiet. It's really not that noisy during the day either. The only maintenance thing that needs to be addressed is some burnt out light bulbs in the living room and two in the kitchen. You can't put too many clothes in the little washer/dryer unit or it will take forever (several hours) to dry them. The Wi-Fi in the flat was a huge asset. We had a tablet we could use to find information. We used the Wi-Fi to make ultra-cheap phone calls (even back to the U.S.). Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend the place.

New Year in London

We had a wonderful stay at Elisa court for a week after Christmas and over New Years. I was traveling with my teenage daughter, and everything was perfect. The flat would accomodate two more guests comfortably. We loved the location. It is in a safe, fairly quiet neighborhood, but close to dining and shopping too. The flat was comfortable, roomy and very clean! Anita was kind and helpful. We enjoyed the Fitzrovia Pub, Spaghetti House, local pizzeria and Le Pain & Reynolds for breakfast. It is a short walk to the British Museum and Bloomsbury area. We walked almost everywhere around London, but the Goodge Tube station is nearby for transit. Taxis are available close on Tottenham Ct & Goodge too. We highly recommend this flat for your London trip.

My mother and I stayed here for our combined 80th/50th celebration, and it was perfect! Seasoned London travellers, we wanted some space for downtime, rather than a small hotel room. Far better than expected...great space, less than 2 blocks from Tube, and fabulous restaurants within 3 blocks. Less than 5 mins by Tube to theaters. Outstanding, and Anita is most helpful.

I was traveling with my wife and two of our friends for a vacation to London. We were just there to do all the tourist stuff and see two football matches in London (Man Utd vs West Ham and Stoke City vs Tottenham). This was a GREAT location for us. Right near multiple tube stops (walking distance) and near a ton of pubs and places to eat. We had a great time staying in the flat. There were 2 beds (one you had to zip together) and one bathroom. It was great and we had tons of room. We were able to relax in the main living area and have some drinks before we went out at night. The kitchen was great and we had no issues with keeping food and drinks in the refrigerator. The only downside that it took HOURS to wash and dry towels. I think it was 5 hour or something like that. We only did it once but that was the only downside. This flat was perfect for us, two couples in our mid to upper twenties. If I go back to London, which I will, I will be sure to contact Anita about staying here again. It was perfect for our trip! Anita answered all my questions and helped me out with the PayPal payments. Again, perfect trip and perfect communication! Thanks Anita!

Over here we often have the same machine doing both the function of a washing machine and a dryer and this means that you have to half the original load in order for it to dry properly. However, 5 hours is a lot, I'll pop round and check the machine out and get a new one if necessary. Best wishes Anita

My family of 4 (2 adults + 2 teenagers) stayed here for 5 nights at the end of March. Elisa Court is located in a nice area with plenty of places to eat or have coffee (You must try Yog for their frozen yogurt--my daughter had to go at least once a day!!). It is only 2 blocks (at most) from the Goodge tube stop and from there you can go anywhere in and around London. Staying at Elisa Court was so much better (and more economical) than two hotel rooms!! Would highly recommend.

Our family of four loved our stay at Elisa Court for two weeks over Christmas 2010. The apartment is in a great location (close to the Goodge St train station with a range of great restaurants in nearby Charlotte Street), which made getting about London extremely easy. The apartment itself is in a quiet building and well set up with everything you need to self cater, including washing machine, oven & wi-fi internet access. The owner, Anita, was also wonderful to deal with. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment if you are visiting London. We can't wait to return!

Elisa Court Great Flat

What to say. Well, we stayed at Elisa Court for 2 weeks Aug.29, 2010 - Sept 11, 2010. The flat is everything 4 people would ever need. It’s located within a few blocks of the Underground north line. Grocery store is just 2 blocks away. Restaurants are in all directions around the flat. However if you would prefer to stay in and cook that wouldn’t be an issue either? The kitchen has everything you would need to prepare a meal. The street is quite at night. The flat has a security camera / entrance system which makes you feels secure at all times. This flat is maintained very well, clean and comfortable. Very well equipped. Here is the best part. The property manager is probably one of the kindest people I have ever dealt with. She responds very quickly to any inquiries

My wife and I, along with our son (17) and daughter (20) stayed here for five nights. This ia a great flat, with everything you need. The location is perfect, close to the British Museum, and tube stops. Many great restaurants right around the corner on Charlotte St. and others very close by. Would book again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The surrounding neighborhood has a great variety of restaurants and coffee shops, and the tube station is just a short walk away. We bought oyster passes and thoroughly enjoyed the convenience of the location. I wouldn't call this a luxury accommodation; but for London it was a vast improvement over the hotels I've visited over the years!

I spent 12 days at Eliza Court in April/May, 2010 and it was perfect for us. The flat was comfortable and a delight to stay in. This was our first stay in a flat after five other visits to London and I would totally recommend both the flat and the owner, Anita, who was a pleasure to deal with. Any question asked was answered promptly and professionally. The flat was spotless, there are numerous pubs and convenience stores nearby, as well as busses and a tube station just one street over. I would not hesitate to rent this flat again.....in fact I am trying to figure out how to take another London vacation ASAP!

We can highly recommend the Elisa Court flat without reservation. The apartment is spacious, well kept and quite comfortable. It is ideally located with a tube stop literally around the corner. It is also within walking distance of a number of great restaurants and sites not least of which is the British Museum. We will definitely book Elisa court for our next London visit.

Wir waren 10 Tage im Juni 2009 im Elisa Court. Die Lage ist für Touristen ideal. Die U-Bahn ist nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Ebenso der Bus. Zum Britischen Museum geht man 1/4 Stunde und auch die British Library, die Wallace Collection und der Regents Park sind zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Im nächsten Block gibt es einen sehr preisgünstigen Supermarkt.Das Appartment ist geräumig und sauber. Alles Notwendige ist vorhanden. Es liegt in einer wenig befahrenen Straße, jedoch war der Verkehr von einer Seitenstraße und von parkenden (und abfahrenden) Motorrädern zu hören. Inzwischen sind aber zusätzliche Fenster eingebaut worden, so dass diese Störung sicher beseitigt ist. Im Haus war es, von einer Party in einer darüberliegenden Wohnung abgesehen, sehr ruhig. Insgesamt gesehen, ist die Wohnung für Touristen empfehlenswert.

I spent 2 weeks at Elisa Court in May and it was truly delightful. To be in such a lively urban setting was great. Close by to everything from the West End to the British Museum, Library, etc. Wonderful transportation options with so many tube stops near by. The accommodations are wonderful and very well appointed. The kitchen, while small, was very easy to work in. The bedrooms a roomy and the beds comfortable. The lounge was spacious, as well. I will stay at Elisa Court again.

We stayed at Elisa Court for just over a week and loved it. It's a great location and it made getting around London very easy. There are several tube stops nearby for convenient travel in all directions. The apt is also within walking distance to various major stores as well as London sights. There is a Tescos supermarket very close by as well as several restaurants just a few steps away. Right around the corner from the apt. is Anderson tours which was very convenient for making a reservation for a day trip to Bath. Overall, it was a wonderful way to experience London!

We stayed at Elisa Court with our young children. The flat was clean and conveniently located to grocery stores, restaurants and public transportation. We enjoyed being away from the "hub-bub" of the tourist sections but close enough that we could walk or take the tube. We la la love Elisa Court Apt. Perfect location. We looked at a ton of places on VRBO in various neighborhoods(hours and hours of looking at this site and contemplating every aspect of our trip...I think you know what I mean if you are reading the comments) and after staying at Elisa Court realized how we would have really screwed up if we'd stayed anywhere else. The neighborhood CAN NOT be beaten as it's super close to everything and has a tube stop right around the corner. We saved a fortune by eating breakfast and lunch from the grocery store a couple blocks away and then felt like we could splurge at dinner. We will never stay in a hotel in London again. The apt itself is great with 2 spacious bedrooms and a super comfortable living room and kitchen. Everything you could ask for and more! My recommendation: Stop looking at other places on this site and book this one right now. You won't regret it, I can actually guarantee it!

We just got back home yesterday after a wonderful week in London and Chitty Street. The flat worked well for us. It was clean and comfortable and we loved the location: we were able to walk to everywhere and didn't start taking the underground til the end of the week after we'd already walked all over the city and felt we "knew" it. (And what a lovely city it is!) It was great then to come "home" at the end of a long day to relax and regroup.

We stayed at Elisa court earlier this year. It was our forth trip to London but the first for both our teenage sons. The apartment was a real plus for our holiday and soon became our home from home! It's very spacious, clean and tidy, with all the basics. It was even quiet at nite, which was a pleasant surprise, given it's central location! We wished we could have stayed longer as there's always so much to do and see, but we'll most definitely be returning in the future.

We stayed at the apartment in late February/early March 2007. The apartment was very convenient to many Underground stations, which made it easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. Our children loved having their own room, and particularly appreciated that there were two beds so that they did not need to share a bed. Although Chitty Street is near to the bustling Tottenham Court Road, it was very quiet and we slept well after our busy days! The Tesco store (right around the corner) has a good selection and we enjoyed being able to eat breakfast (and sometimes even dinner) in the well equipped kitchen. We would be happy to stay here again!

Our family of 4 (daugher 11, son 13) stayed here for ten days in late November 2006 and had a wonderful time. The flat was large enough to provide a great "home base" for touring all of London (far better, we thought, than a hotel). Elisa Court is an easy walk to the British Museum, library and theater district, and a stone's throw from the Chitty Street underground (Blue Line), which takes you everywhere else. We stayed at this wonderful flat in March 2004. The location is very convenient--a short walk to Goodge St Tube on the Northern Line, a quick walk to grocery shopping at Marks & Spencer or Tesco, great shopping on Tottenham Court Rd, good restaurants and pubs nearby. This apartment worked perfectly for our family of four - two parents and two teenagers. We could relax in the evenings before walking to dinner. The tube station, coffee shops, and groceries were all very convenient. It seemed like home to us by the end of the week and we were sad to be leaving.

A true home away-from-home!!! My husband, I & 2 grandsons had 12 delightful days at Chitty St. The apt. was exactly as described on the website, very clean and comfortable, convenient to buses, a newsagent and other shopping. What a nice reprieve from all the crowds elsewhere in London!! Booking and on-site service were exceptionally professional, a phone call at mid-week to see if we needed anything was a very nice touch. There is no other place to stay in London!!!!!!!

We stayed in this property for a week, and had a simply marvelous experience. The booking process was smooth and painless; all of our e-mail inquiries were answered quickly and professionally; and the property itself can't be beat -- the photos don't do it justice! The location is perfect -- just a short walk to the tube and close to restaurants, supermarkets, shopping (not to mention an excellent fish-and-chips shop just around the corner). The apartment was clean, bright, and well-maintained -- why stay in a hotel when you can have this wonderful apartment all to yourself? My friend and I agree that this is our new home-away-from-home whenever we visit London again (which I hope will be soon)!

We recently went on a family vacation to London and were very happy to call this apartment home for two weeks. Bright, spacious, quiet and very well equipped. Wonderful location - short walk to great shopping on Oxford street, or plays in the West End. Tube station just around the corner. Very professional and attentive service in arranging the rental.
