Sea Groove is a beautiful gulf view home nestled among magnolias and live oaks with 5.5 bedrooms/4.5 baths that sleeps up to 17 people. Designer Furnishings! Spectacular rooftop gazebo with views over forest canopy and the gulf. Relax in hammocks or Adirondack chairs. Great for sunsets! Located in Old Seagrove Beach on an oak-canopied road, just four short blocks to Seaside - Easy to Walk to Seaside. Lovely, shaded one block walk to public beach access (250 walking steps). Private heated pool in screened enclosure, with hot/cold outdoor shower. Parking for 6 cars. Quiet neighborhood. Walk to beach, Seagrove Village Market, restaurants and Seaside. Charcoal grill. Ceiling fans throughout home.
First Level: Inviting entry porch with Adirondacks. Screened front porch with large outdoor adjustable teak dining table seats 6-10. Tile floors on this level. Combination family room and additional dining room with seating for 10 adjoins the large kitchen. Kitchen has granite countertops, gas range, stainless steel microwave, frig with ice maker, dishwasher and 2 sinks. Seating for 4 at breakfast bar. Family room features comfortable overstuffed sofas, three side chairs, ottomans, large TV, DVD, games, puzzles, and gas log fireplace. King master bedroom on this floor has TV, DVD, private exterior entrance and handicap friendly ramp, and a private handicap friendly bath with pedastol sink and tub/shower. Half bath and full-sized washer/dryer are also on this level.
Second Level: Beautiful bamboo hardwood floors. Large screened verandah with outdoor seating and a full size PING PONG TABLE AND FOOSBALL TABLE as well! King master bedroom has TV, DVD, dresser and private bath with vanity sink and tub/shower. Queen bedroom has TV, armoire and a FULL SIZED BABY CRIB. Kid's bunkroom has two bunk beds with 2 trundles underneath (sleeps six), plus 2 dressers. Playroom/Office has bunk with full-sized sofa/bed on bottom and twin bed on top, TV/VCR/DVD and wireless high speed internet connectivity. Shared hall bathroom has vanity sink and tub/shower.
Third Level: Beautiful bamboo hardwood floors. Queen master bedroom features a dressers, large TV, DVD and a private bath with shower. This bedroom opens onto a balcony in the magnolia and oak tree canopy which has a spiral staircase to the rooftop gazebo. This spectacular outdoor area is equipped with Adirondack chairs, 2 hammocks and amazing views of the gulf over the tree tops. Catch the breezes and the sunset.

We stayed in the house in February and it was warm and sunny all week. The kids loved the pool and even got in the ocean. The house is fabulous with so much space. Beautifully decorated and has everything you need. Rooftop deck is wonderful and so nice with the hammocks. Super easy walk/access to the beach, very short. Also, great short walk/bike ride to Seaside. We were able to lets kids ride bikes and explore on their own there with no worries. Was a great trip with tons to do. Perfect location, lots of space and love the decor! A+++

We enjoyed a wonderful, week long stay with our family and parents. As both my parents grew up on the beaches of Georgia and Florida, this beautiful house, nested in the trees, felt like the old beach town atmosphere of our childhoods. It's a simple, shaded walk to the beach and a quick bicycle ride to the many conveniences and attractions of Seaside and Watercolor. (Not to mention Goatfeathers for some fresh seafood.) The many floor levels and bedrooms make it easy to accomodate kids, parents and grandparents. We took wine and juice up to the top deck every night for sunset. The pool was a welcome retreat from the heat of the beach and mosquitos. We look forward to returning to this wonderful family retreat!

Great House for Big Family or Fun with Friends

We rented this home in April 2011 with friends. All together there were three families: 6 kids and 7 adults. I wasn't quite sure what to expect but this house turned out to be a real gem and we plan n renting it again next year. It allowed us big family dinners in the kitchen and room for everyone to relax together on the main level, then when anyone needed some time to themselves, the house was big enough to allow you space to get away. Sunsets up on the roof deck were a great way to end the day and the kids were kept happy at the house due to the pool, ping pong and foosball table. One room has 2 sets of bunk beds + 2 trundle beds which the kids immediately claimed as their domain. I was impressed with the furniture, sometimes rental furnishings are clearly decorated with the castoffs from friends and families but the rooms were well appointed. Most importantly the location. It's a leisurely 5 minute walk to the center of Seaside which is absolutely adorable and VERY family friendly. I recommend this house for groups with or without children. There is one bedroom on the main floor. The others are upstairs and the house is a total of 3 floors. So if traveling with someone with bad knees, they'll get the swank bedroom on the first floor, and you'll should call dibs on the master bedroom on the 2nd floor. Both look like their were decorated by an interior designer.

Spent a week in this lovely home. Everything was in great working order and the location was perfect. Lots of privacy but close to everything the area offers. The pool inside the screen porch was a life saver with the kids. The number of bedrooms and beds meant everyone was comfortable. The big kids loved the bunk beds and there was room for the baby to have his own space. We can't wait to visit again. This will be our vacation home for years to come.

This is an amazing house, it just keeps going! Great family room, perfect sized pool with alarm to keep kids safe, super comfy enormous beds, beautifully furnished, great wing for the kids with 3 sets of bunkbeds & nanny suite if you're lucky enough to have one! Endless porches and an incredible roof top deck, perfect for stargazing, late night conversations or morning coffee! The house was in great shape, very clean (&I'm a clean freak) and well maintained, we had a few questions for the owners and they couldn't have been more helpful & responsive. The beach is a minute's walk away & Seaside is a straight 5 minute walk. We'll definitely be back.
