Our home is just steps to the beach with a direct ocean view. With four bedrooms including one king (master suite has a private bath), one queen (second master with private bath), two additional queens and two doubles in bedrooms #3 and #4, 12 people can sleep comfortably. We offer a fully furnished kitchen, pillows, comforters and blankets for all beds, and games, videos, and DVD's for your enjoyment. Our large pool is right below the porches so mom can watch the kids swimming from above.
Surfside Beach is a great location for family or friends to vacation together. It is a family beach without all the traffic and people of the Myrtle Beach beaches, yet it has all the amenities you need within a few blocks of our home. The house is "tucked away" in a quaint beach neighborhood, yet beach access is just a short walk. Shopping, supermarkets, restaurants, and other necessities are all close at hand. We also have an extensive waterpark just blocks away. It truly reminds us of the 'old-fashioned' beaches of our childhood, yet it does not lack any of the amenities you would expect.
For 2008, the New Hard Rock Park will open for the first time in April, 2008. Undoubtedly, this will be the premier attraction on the East Coast. With 5 exciting roller coasters and many other attractions, vacationing on the Grand Strand has more to offer than ever before. Our beach house is only a few short miles from the new Hard Rock Park. With Myrtle Beach just a few miles to the north, you are just minutes away from virtually all forms of 'world class' vacation entertainment and fun. If you are planning a golf vacation, the Grand Strand has more than 100 Championship Golf Courses and more new ones under construction, the choices are endless. If nightlife is your thing, House of Blues, Club Cryptonite, and Froggy Bottomz are just a few of the many night spots in the area. 'World Class' shopping includes outlet centers, Barefoot Landing and Broadway at the Beach, a Bass Pro Shop at Colonial Mall, and the newest Coastal Grande Mall with over one-million square feet of shopping. And if you enjoy eating, look out. The Grand Strand offers fabulous restaurants in all shapes, sizes, and cuisine. Most likely, you have not experienced such a wide variety of restaurants from which to choose.
We also offer an optional linen package which includes sheets for all beds, towel sets for all guests, and all needed paper and soap products. This popular option is a great convenience, eliminating the need to pack these items for your stay.
