We had a great time!! The condo, the building, the owner...perfect! We stayed for almost 3 weeks and we enjoyed every day. The price and the conditions are more than fair! And we will come back for sure!! Although there are a lot of bars and esspecially on the weekend the surrounding is very noisy...well it´s the Ocean Drive....BUT you don´t here anything inside the condo. The building is very clean and the cleaning ladies are very sweet. Scott, thank you so much...we will come back!!!

Owner response:Thank you for the kind reviews. I am glad you mentioned that this condo is quiet. Many people assume that it will no be quiet inside the condo, due to the location on Ocean Drive. I think it is quiet because it is located on the 3rd floor. This condo is kept VERY clean, thanks to the great cleaning ladies that have worked for me for over 6 years.

We went to Miami (South Beach) for a work conference being held at a hotel near the airport and decided to make this a slight vacation by going to the beach. I was dishearted by the prices of the "boutique" hotels near South Beach Miami but then i realized that my travel dates were at the end of the spring break season. When I talked with Scott (owner of the condo) he negoitiated a great price with me and told me that my stay and the location of the condo would be worth my money and it was. When I arrived I was surprised and pleased with the building, the room, and how well kept the inside was. The only concern that I had was the noise level outside the condo since there was like an all day party downstairs at the popular South Beach Bars....but I will tell you honestly there was not a sound in the condo. It was very well insulated as to not disturb you while you slept which was important for me having to get up earlier in the morning. Overall I was pleased and would stay here again if I were to take another trip to Miami Beach. Bryan Nails

This studio condo is right in the middle of all that makes South Beach the place to be, the beach, the restaurants, the shops, the clubs. The owner provided accurate and truthful descriptions of the location, condo layout and it's amenities. The place was very clean and well stocked with everything one needs in a home away from home. Although the furniture was a bit worn and outdated, it was functional and comfortable. The kitchen was completely remodeled and well stocked with all that is needed for meal preparation and eating. The cupboards contained dishes, glasses, seasonings, coffee and other items. The appliances were a nice touch, too. There was even dish detergent and paper towels! The wi-fi never let us down. The rooftop deck provided awesome ocean views. We enjoyed being at the unit as much as we did being out and about. The owner was forthright about the location of the unit above a restaurant/bar and was not as noisy as I anticipated. My experience with the owner was all good. He was very prompt and responsive. He refunded my damage deposit promptly. This was my first vacation rental experience and I hope to return to this condo next year,

As for the rooftop deck, I do not own that space, it belongs to the owner of the 4th floor penthouse suite. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you can come back soon.

This is a perfect place if you're looking to hit South Beach for a few days..not need a car and dig the beach! The location is great and super easy walking to anywhere! The Studio is great shape, super clean and small...but who the hell is spending time inside when in South Beach? It has everything you need and perhaps more considering we really did not use the kitchen very much at all. Everything is updated and great working condition. This property is a great find. The owner is awesome!!! He is super accommodating, cordial and really within communication seemingly all the time. We wish we would have actually met him he was so cool! NEXT TIME. If you're looking for super deluxe accommodations and all that go with them, then perhaps this isn't your spot...The Delano, Raleigh, Shore Club are right up the street a bit. This worked perfect and was everything we needed and wanted at the time. We have recommended it several times already, and would without a doubt go back just because of the price, location and convenience of it all. We rent apartments worldwide through this site, We are happy to report it's one of our favorites across the board. * The only thing I would say worth noting in the negative column is, the actual entrance to the building can be to some a bit intimidating as it is right near Fat Tuesday's and Wet Willy's; 2 very happening bars that pull in a varied and somewhat sketchy crowds...brought on by copious amounts of liquor, pretty much like a new years eve party; amateur hour...lol This wasn't an issue with us at all, but to some it may be a bit off. Trust me, it's all good their really harmless! GREAT SPOT GREAT LOCATION SCOTT YOU ROCK, and Thank you!!!!!

Perfect Beach Getaway!

One of our favorite vacation getaways when we've got more time for a beach vacation is the Virgin Islands. This sweet spot reminded us of those vacations, just a LOT closer, and less expensive. The condo is exactly as the owner describes -- the location is incredible, and the unit is nicely cared for and ready for guests. Everything from burgers and margaritas to more elegant fare is a short walk away, and the beach and park is directly across the street. When we did need a cab, it was no problem to step outside and get one within minutes. The owner does a terrific job of communicating prior to the stay, and then checking in to see if everything's okay, or if we needed anything. We didn't -- its really well equipped. If you're looking for quality and an owner who cares, you'll find it here. Enjoy!

Went for a week over New Years: supposedly the coldest Miami has ever had, but for us, that meant perfect beach weather. The condo was a great home away from home: all the amenities we needed and an unbeatable location right off the beach and everything we wanted to do (bike rentals, restaurants, bars, movies) all within walking distance. Having keycodes for the building and apartment was definitely more fun than having keys: literally nothing to take with you if you want to head down to the beach. And while not promised in the listing, it turned out that the building's 4th floor roofdeck overlooking the ocean was also open, and was a great spot for fireworks and people watching.

Very comfortable stay. Property is best located for the night life and activity on Ocean Drive. Possible to walk to everything in South Beach. Owner will address any concerns quickly.

We spend a lot of vacations in Miami and normally stay in the hotels along Ocean Avenue; unfortunately it becomes very pricey. We found the price of your accommodations very satisfactory, considering the EXCELLENT location. Not only was your price great, we loved the fact of having a full kitchen; oven, dish washer, utensils included. It is difficult to find hotel rooms on Ocean that even have a small kitchenette. We felt very much at home, and were extremely happy to find everything we needed on hand (iron, blow dryer, wine opener, etc). No need to rent a car; it was close to everything we needed. I would definitely recommend anyone who asks “where should I stay when I am in South Beach” to your accommodations. For those who like to drink like myself the bars and clubs (Fat Tuesday’s) is 30 seconds away and the beach was across the street 1 minute away. Thanks for helping to make our stay in Miami so enjoyable.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Condo. It was immaculate and the facilities in the kitchen are really good. The Condo is in the centre of all of the action yet you cannot hear the noise on the street when you go upstairs ( really appreciated that!) I'd definitely stay there again. Patricia

scott is a true gentleman. his condo is right in the midst of all the action. you really do not need a car. the condo has a great view of the ocean. i spent many mornings looking at the ocean and seeing the sunrise. very clean beautiful older building. roll out of bed and you are on the beach. AC works great. telephone was a real plus. ty MUCHO..mike

This great condo is in the heart of the Art Deco District - and the sand of South Beach is literally outside your door. It's on the hottest block on Ocean Drive, as you are neighbors with Mangos and the Clevelander. The condo is super clean, secure, quiet and well maintained. Scott is an excellent and professional host and you can place your trust in him to make sure that you have everything you need to make your stay in exciting South Beach enjoyable ans safe. This condo is a gem in my book of secrets - Scott, thank you!!
