Please know that as of June 1st, 2009 we completed an entire renovation of the interior. All new floors, walls, and ceilings. An entire new kitchen with granite tops and new appliances, including a JennAir range. All 3.5 baths were all redone with new fixtures, cabinets and granite tops. New furniture, along with 2 sleeper sofas and new carpeting throughout. Feel free to call us for more info anytime. DESCRIPTION: Our Beachwalk villa is a perfect vacation spot for golfers, tennis players and swimmers. Located across from the Crown Plaza hotel in Shipyard Plantation and right next to the path leading to the beach, our villa is just a short walk to Van der Meer Tennis Resort and the many bike trails.
Situated around the golf course and lagoons, our "second home" villa is equipped with open kitchen, washer and dryer, wet bar and large deck for lots of sun soaking. This town home is uniquely designed with a breakfast solarium looking out onto the treed pool area.
All bedrooms are on the second floor. Of the three bedrooms, two have private bathrooms and the third bedroom has access to the bathroom in the hall, also on the second floor. For convenience, there is a half bath on the main floor.
Our Beachwalk villa also provides a private swimming pool for the guests of Beachwalk. With a direct walk out to the pool and a very short walk to the beach, our villa is at the entrance of the Beachwalk complex and provides a very comforting vacation spot for its guests.
Upgraded with a remodeled kitchen, new appliances w/ JennAir Range and new floors in all bathrooms, this villa is very nicely decorated with special touches throughout.
The home features a living area and a separate family room; a 27 inch television in the family room, televisions in the master and queen bedroom; a DVD/VCR combo in the family room; and a VCR in the master bedroom and our Villa now has HIGH SPEED/WiFi Internet access. The large deck, easily accessed from the dining room, is literally steps from the pool and provides the much needed space for large families.
The living room, done in soft soothing colors, is very bright and receives much sunlight from the large, sky light windows. All three bedrooms, each with a bright atmosphere, are on the second floor. The master bedroom has a skylight above the bed and has a great view of the pool. All three bathrooms on this floor have a tub and shower combination.
If you know Hilton Head, it's a beautiful setting amongst towering oaks, Spanish moss trees, palmetto palms, close to the famous Harbour Town, great dining, over 30 golf courses and the best tennis facilities in the East. Also 45 minutes to Savannah, Georgia and 90 minutes to Charleston.

We'd also be interested in exchanging into or near a ski destination over Christmas or New Years week, any upcoming year. Our "second home" villa is available to exchange weekly, rent, or long-term snowbird rental as well anytime throughout the year.
Our villa is professionally managed, so you have emergency repair, linens, end of week maid service, included.

Our family has loved vacationing on HHI since our 3 boys were in middle school. In 2002 we decided to purchase this villa in order to make sure we came back as a family tradition as the boys have grown and are into college. We use it a few times a year, but rent our villa often (honestly, it helps pay the mortgage). Nevertheless, we maintain the villa as we'd like to be there all the time. Just this past June '09 we completely renovated the villa with all newly decorated rooms, all new cabinets and vanities in the bathrooms and a complete new kitchen with appliances and all granite tops. The Unique Benefits of this Villa
Shipyard Plantation in our opinion is the quietest and beautiful landscaped plantation of the three on the island. Beautiful bike paths a it's huge private access beach allows you to be away from the business and commerciality of SeaPines and Palmetto Dunes.
