So close yet so far away...Amazing

We had a very enjoyable time at the ranch. We were a group of seven and consisted of a five year old and her Nana, a thirteen year old, two college age kids , a married couple and a Berner! What an amazing place to accommodate us all. The view was amazing, we all enjoyed the animals, and the pool table was used regularly . We could have easily spent much more time here had our schedule allowed. The owners were very easy going and friendly. Truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

What a View!
What a View!
My wife, friend and dog and I stayed here for 3 nights and I had a difficult time leaving. Anne and Dan are great hosts and the property, particularly the view, is spectacular! Sunsets on the deck of this place, sitting in a hammock, are unbeatable. Montana shows her true beauty and lives up to the Big Sky name. When we arrived, we had a basket of fruit and a bottle of wine. Anne and Dan showed us around and how to use everything. Internet was available when we needed it and the bathroom was stunning! You can take a bath in the jetted tub while looking out the huge window at the expansive landscape and mountains in the background. Easy access to Bozeman and tons of hikes within a 50 mile radius. If you get a chance while you are there, head down to the Spotted Horse Cafe as well on Broadway and main. It is the best coffee and breakfast for miles!!! Thanks Anne and Dan...we loved it!

Owner response: Dear All, Thank you for your lovely review. We loved getting to know you and hope we will meet again on one of your exciting adventures.
We can't say enough great things about our stay at the Theisen's ranch. The home was extremely clean and even bigger and better than the pictures illustrate. While luxurious (excellent beds, nice linens, beautiful bath) the property is also extremely comfortable. We felt right at home and enjoyed the many thoughtful details like the great selection of movies and games and toys. The view is unbeatable - it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, although town is only ten minutes away. The owners were warm and kind and more than willing to help us in any way possible - although completely non-intrusive. I think this property would appeal to most anyone - from young families like ours to a family with older kids (pool table! darts!) to a couple looking for a quiet escape. We can't wait to go back!

About the owner: Dan has lived on the ranch his entire 50 plus years and knows this area like the back of his hand. We have always loved entertaining and would love to have you experience this peaceful spot. I am an RN working part time as a Hospice nurse. We are lucky to have our children and 2 grandchildren living in the area. We love the Gallatin Valley and hope to help you have an amazing Montana Vacation.
Why the Owner Chose Belgrade:
This ranch has been in the family since the 1940's and continues to produce wheat or barley depending on the year. Each of the Theisen brothers have 160 acre ranches surrounding our 160 acre ranch...therefore open spaces, beautiful views and tranquility.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The spectacular 360 degree views of 5 surrounding mountain ranges and the Gallatin Valley is what sold us to build on this site. There are many draws to hike and discover wildflowers, old ranch artifacts and view the wildlife. At night the lights of the valley and the star filled sky are stunning and provide a sense of wonder.
