  We have just returned from one of the best holidays we've ever had. We were actually sad to leave and would happily have stayed for a third week. The house is very easy to get to by car from Tampa Airport. Located in a quiet, friendly neighbourhood and has a very homely, welcoming feel the moment you arrive. Extremely clean, and bigger than it seems in the pictures. We spent most of our time by the pool, which is totally private as the garden plants and trees shelter it from any overlooking of the neighbours. The pool is pristinely clean, warm and the caged area is fantastic for keeping out mosquitos and other insects. The pool lights are also lovely at night for the outside dining. Peter and Ros couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and everything you could possibly need is provided in the house. Thank you for making our first visit to Florida such a fantastic one! We would certainly stay again!

  My family and I attended a wedding in the Sarasota area during Easter week. This was the first time I had rented a property from Homeaway, , and I was a bit anxious about how it would turn out. Roslyn was very accommodating about answering questions regarding the home and the area. Roslyn's villa was a perfect place to return to after a long day at the beach or helping to make arrangements for the festivities. It was equipped with everything we needed - from beach chairs and towels to a fully stocked kitchen. The beds were extremely comfortable, and I had a full week of much needed sleep. The living areas were spacious, and the five of us definitely had enough room to spread out. All the rooms were clean and tidy. My favorite room was the beautiful outdoor lanai and pool. I spent most of my time relaxing outdoors and admiring the "English" garden. The villa is located approximately between 10-15 minutes from Siesta Key Beach. This was definitely one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen, including the breathtaking sunset. We hope to return one day soon!

  Great spacious villa with plenty of outside space by the pool and gardens. Presented beautifully and very clean with luxurious comfortable couches and beds and kitted out with everything you would need. We were a group of 5 ladies over 55 who had just spent a few days Xmas shopping in NY and it was lovely to relax here. We mainly ate out during the day but returned to eat in in the evening with a lovely dining table inside and also outside by the pool. It took us about 15 minutes to Siesta Key, Long Boat Key etc and the lovely shopping in St Armands Circle {sunset included). Lovely quiet neighbourhood area with all the Xmas lights - Ros had some very tasteful Xmas decorations in place for us. Would highly recommend and was so easy to deal with Ros - all went off without a hitch. Thank you, Ros, for making our second visit to Florida so enjoyable.

  We've just returned to the UK from Florida and spent one week of our holiday here and if have one regret it's that I didn't spend my whole holiday at the villa ! The villa was absolutely spotlessly clean and basically, everything you could possibly need is available. We ate out most nights but also made use of the well equipped kitchen on a few occasions and the bedrooms are very well kept as are the family areas. We've now stayed on the Gulf Coast on several occasions and this is by far the best accommodation we've had to date. It's only a short car ride from the beach and there's a Walmart store less than a mile away. I would recommend this location to friends and relatives without hesitation and I hope to make a return in a year or two if Roslyn will have us !

  We enojyed a fantastic month at Peter and Roslyn's villa. The house has everything you could need, including books, dvd's, tourist info and maps. Roslyn and Peter were very helpful. They got some groceries in for us as we were arriving late with 2 young boys in tow, which was a lifesaver after a 20 hour journey. They also lent us a printer for our stay so that we could print of tickets to theme parks etc. The owners provided a fantastic, solid cot for our 8 month old (not a typical, flimsy travel cot) and a good quality highchair. The family room was a great bonus, adjacent to the pool and with easy access to the pool area. This is where we spent most of our time. The beds are very comfy, the kitchen is very well equipped and the outside space is great. Lovely warm pool and plenty of chairs / loungers. There was even a collection of pool / beach toys and inflatables that my 4 year old made good use of! The only small fly in the ointment (and i am being v picky now) was the noise of the neighbours dogs in the evenings. But to be fair we never heard them after about 10pm and i am quite sure we made plenty of noise ourselves by the pool most days. This is a great property and we would recommend it to anyone seeking a private and homely place to spend their holiday in. The owners could not have been more accommodating and we all had a brilliant stay.

  Despite the worst Feb weather for 30 years we very much enjoyed our stay in this cozy, well equipped villa with an excellent private pool, patio and garden area. It is well situated close to all amenities and about 15 mins from the downtown area. The owners were extremely helpful and we would strongly recommend it

  We were staying in Sarasota for a week to get married. Us and our 2 children stayed in the villa and we had a brilliant time. The villa is gorgeous, clean, loads of space and the pool is lovely(especially lit up at night) The pictures of the home on the site look great but when you actually get in the villa its even better! The owners of the villa left us a very thoughtful gift for when we arrived whih was so nice of them and completely unexpected. The villa has a homely feel to it - we could have stayed there forever!   We had a wonderful stay in this villa. The pictures just don't show how beautiful it really is inside and out. It was great to unwind the day with a family swim and dinner out on the patio. The garden is beautiful and relaxing. This property is located in the perfect location. Quiet neighborhood that is within a short driving distance of everything you need from basic grocery shopping to all the attractions you want to see. I will recommend this villa to all of my friends and co-workers without hesitation.

  A lovely holiday villa that was extremely well equipped and really became our home for two weeks very quickly. We loved it and the kids did too! The pool area was fantastic, well screened and very private. Locationwise, this villa is superb: in a very peaceful residential area. All local amenities are within a short 5 min drive and the beaches easily reached within 15 mins. The owners were very helpful both before our holiday and whilst we were there. Would recommend this villa to all.

  The house is in excellent condition and fully equiped. All you need is available (linen, games, last dvd, barbecue,tourist information, map,etc......) moreover the contact with the owner was very friendly. I strongly recommend this villa.

  We came to Florida for our daughters wedding, there were five of us staying at the Villa. The Villa was tastefully decorated and was so clean and inviting upon arrival The pictures surely do not do this place justice. The gardens around the Villa are absolutely beautiful. It creates all the privacy anyone could want. Kitchen was well stocked. Bedrooms had all the linens you could need. Bathrooms had plenty of towels for the whole family. The pool is well maintained and very inviting with plenty of room on the deck around the pool to entertain. Our vacation was like being at home with all the luxuries this Villa has to offer! If we get the chance to vacation in Sarasota again we will certainly reserve this Villa again!

  I should not call this a holiday home, its a real home, nothing to do with a so called "holidayhome" Everything is there what you need, same as at home. For the gourmetlovers, the kitchen is excellent, everything you need to cook is there, excellent oven and microwave. close to the supermarket. We had a great time and for us it was more or less just being at home with all the comfort you can get. Roslyn and Peter did help us with all sort of things. Its close to the I-75, which makes it easy to travel to other places Can really recommend this to enjoy a great holiday.

  Me and my family have just returned from our 3rd visit to this villa, and we cannot rate it highly enough. The property is in fantastic condition, spotlessly clean, and has all the facilities you need for a super vacation. The owners Peter and Roslyn are very helpful throughout the booking process, and are always ready to help with any queries and problems whilst you are at the villa itself. The location is ideal, minutes from shops, restaurants and the beaches. The area is quiet, and very relaxing. It is also in close to the I75, so you can connect to other parts of Florida very quickly. Dont hesitate ! If you are visiting Sarasota, this is the place to stay !

  As soon as we arrived in the villa we felt at 'home' and settled in straight away for a relaxing holiday, which was clean and well maintained. All rooms were comfortable and well equipped, with plenty of bed linen and towels. Kitchen was well stocked which helped as soon as we arrived, and we replaced before leaving. Plenty of equipment was available to use both by the pool area and for the beach etc. with beach and sun lounge towels available. Having stayed in Sarasota several times before we found all the wonderful beaches easily accessible. Eateries shops and supermarkets plentiful and close by. Can do the tourist attractions easily if required. Excellent family holiday, and as property is on one level good for the disabled access. We look forward to returning soon as!!

  This is a lovely place to stay in the Sarasota area. It is not very far from the wonderful beaches on the Gulf. There are aquariums and zoos and shopping and family friendly activities. The backyard is your own private oasis where you can just lay on a chaise and read (my favorite thing) and cook out and swim in the pool. It was very clean and exactly as described. The owners provided all you need and even called to make sure all was ok. I would certainly recommend this to anyone.

  The pictures do no justice to just how beautiful the Villa really is. The space is much larger than what the pictures show. The gardens around the house make it seem like you are in your own little QUIET world. I was in Sarasota for the wedding of my son. I baked and decorated the wedding cake in the Villa and found that the kitchen was well stocked with everything that I needed. The owners were VERY helpful with information of local shops. We found that the Villa was spotless and very comfortable. I would recommend staying here to anyone.
