Everything was thought of

The cabin was beautiful, fully stocked with everything you could need. There was something for everyone, from the movie selection to the firepit, the comfortable living areas, definitely a great place to stay. I brought a bunch of teenagers who had a great time.

Our stay at your cabin was a great time for all of us. The cabin was nicer in person than it was on the web site. Location of the cabin and the cleanliness was superb. We are already planning a return trip. We had our grandchildren and the cabin is well suited for children with plenty to do. Thanks Mark and Lynn.

The Sew Next Time Quilters of Mesquite, NV enjoyed their 2nd Annual Quilters Retreat at the Bear's Den just last week and it could not have been more perfect! The accomodations at this cabin are perfect for the 10 of us - Senior Ladies who enjoyed 4 full days of sewing to our heart's content. We had plenty of space, outlets, tables to work on our projects and the village provided fun stuff to browse and buy when we just couldn't sit still any longer. Thank you Lynn and Mark for your prompt responses to all of our questions, requests and for providing a clean, safe enjoyable location for our get together.

Hi Lynn, I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how very much the Sew Next Time Quilters of Mesquite, NV loved staying at the Bear's Den for our first (hopefully annual) Quilt Retreat. We had everything we needed for 12 ladies to sew their hearts out for the long weekend. We enjoyed the cabin and all it had to offer, the short walk to the lake and watching the little critters scamper around the front of the cabin entertaining us with their antics. All of us appreciate what you did to make our stay so perfect, comfortable and enjoyable. We WILL be in touch with you for the next time we have a quilters retreat. AND thanks for coming by to introduce yourself - it is so much nicer to be able to have a real live person in mind instead of just an e-mail address.

Our family had a wonderful time in this awesome cabin for our first annual family reunion. It was everything we had hoped for and more....beautiful views, comfortable accommodations and a reasonable price for everything that was included. We loved it and will be back again next year!

We just spent a wonderful 3 days at this cabin and it's beautiful surroundings. The cabin was more than we expected from the pictures. We loved making a campfire every night in the back, roasting hotdogs and marshmallows. We got some great pictures of the beautiful scenic surroundings. Our small grandchildren loved all the space in the cabin and outside to run around. There were so many interesting "critters" outside to watch. Thanks for a wonderful week!

Our whole family stayed at The Bear's Den. We had a great time, hiking during the day, sitting around the campfire at night. There was plenty of room for all of us. Since it was our parent's 40th anniversary it just made everything extra special. Thanks to Lynn and Mark and their wonderful hospitality!!!

Our family's stay at the Bear's Den couldn't have been more enjoyable.   We had seven couples and room to spare.  We catered dinners for our entire stay with Aunt Sue's Chalet in Duck Creek which made our stay effortless.  The dinners were some of the best we've had - try the ribs.  The cabin's location, near the lake and ATV rentals and trails made for a very memorable experience.  We thank Lynn and Mark for a wonderful time that allowed our family to reconnect and enjoy the outdoors.  We wish you continued success.

We have had the pleasure of renting this incredible cabin numerous times and it just keeps getting better every time. The cabin is always in great condition and the location simply can't be beat. You can simply walk through the back yard to gain access to a terrific fishing lake and you are also within walking distance to the stores and restaurants in Duck Creek. For off-roading the trails are maybe 100 yards away which lead to miles and miles of trailriding heaven. We will be back.

Thank you so much for providing us such an ideal setting for our first official family reunion! It was absolutely perfect. We had so much fun. We had 4 couples and 7 small children and we had ample space for everyone to spread out and relax. We loved everything about your cabin. The layout was ideal. The beds were comfortable. There was enough private space for little ones to take naps and still have the music or tv playing. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The barbecue worked perfectly and the rocking chairs on the deck were heaven for chatting and watching the beautiful sky. We had fun playing badminton and the tables in the back were perfect for outdoor lunches and projects with the children. You've done a beautiful job making it a place I'm sure no one wants to leave. Thank you for everything. Our only regret is that we forgot to make time to write in your cabin journal--so we're writing here instead! It was definitely a 10+ vacation!!! The kids loved the firepit for roasting marshmallows, the close proximity and beauty of the lake, and the many chipmunks! We made wonderful memories and took tons of pictures. Again, thank you!! That was our first experience with VRBO also. Great system! It was so much fun discovering an area in Utah we'd never visited before. Thanks for everything!!! I'm sure you'll hear from us again.

The Bear's Den was great for three couples. Not only is it ideally located for Zion, Bryce, Cedar Breaks, Hwy 12, and Lake Powell, it's a great home that's very comfortable and in a great location. The lake was great in the back as was the fire pit and porch with humming birds and marmots keeping us company. A wonderful place to stay. Ken and Sandi Banks

I cannot thank Mark & Lynn enough for their hospitality and making sure that all of our needs were met...Would definitely stay there again & again. (You cannot find such accomodations and people who really care if you are happy anymore in Las Vegas...This is a TOP notch place and so relaxing. I give it 5stars and then some) Not only were we happy but our teenage son wanted to know when we would return and he is even harder to please then ourselves. I highly recommend this cabin ONLY if you want a true vacation with no stress and are able to enjoy the good life & wildlife that surrounds the cabin.(Truly a winner hands down to any vacation we have ever had!) BEWARE...The towns people are so friendly and accommodating you will never want to go anywhere else:0) Thank you again & we will definitely be back soon to our new little hidden secret getaway.

We had a wonderful, comfortable time at the bears den. This was our fifth family reunion out west and I heard some of the family say this was the best one ever. We are an elderly family of two brothers and three sisters and spouses. The oldest is 86 and the youngest 73 and one son in law is 94. We visited Cedar City, Zion, N & S. Grand Canyon and Bryce Canyon. We also went to Mountain Meadow Massacre. we are from the city that the wagon train started. It was the day after the family gathered there, but it was very enjoyable. Everything was close enough to visit one each day and get home early enough to rest up before dinner. very nice. Jack & Gwendola Tennyson

Bear's Den was perfect for our annual 'brother/sister' vacation. The location was convenient for visiting Zion, Bryce, Cedar Breaks, Kolob, St. George, etc. The cabin had everything we needed...and MORE! We loved the backyard firepit for roasting hot dogs and making S'mores. We spent a morning visiting shops and cafe in Duck Creek Village after we took a pleasant walk around Aspen Mirror Lake. The scenery in the area is spectacular and we loved every minute. We really felt 'at home' at the cabin and it was nice to have a warm, homey place to come home to each evening after a day of exploring. Thanks for making this (and other)cabins available! My wife and I and our 2 20 year-old sons spent a week at Bear's Den and could not have been happier with the accommodations. The cabin is a great place for the family to spend time together, but also spacious enough to give everyone privacy/personal space for some downtime. It was a great home-away-from-home and provided everything we needed for an enjoyable stay while visiting Utah. The next time we want to visit the area, we'll be sure to contact Mark and Lynn.

WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME AT THE BEAR'S DEN. IT IS THE PERFECT HOME BASE TO SEE ALL THE SITES IN THIS AREA. WE VISITED BRYCE CANYON, ZION, NORTH RIM GRAND CANYON, CEDAR BREAKS AND RENTED ATV'S IN THE VILLAGE- THERE ARE OVER 250 MILES OF TRAILS RIGHT AROUND THE VILLAGE! WE CAME HOME TIRED EACH NIGHT BUT WERE ABLE TO RELAX IN THE COMFORT OF THE JACUZZI OR BY THE FIRE PIT OUTSIDE. ALSO, THE GRILL IS GREAT! WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE CABIN FOR A PERFECT OUTDOOR GETAWAY.

We stayed at the Bear's Den on April 13th and 14th. We could not have had a better time. The location is so central to all the places we wanted to go to that it worked out perfectly. We had 10 people with us 5 adults and 5 kids and there was ample room for all of us, we didn't even have to use the pull out beds. At $250/night this cabin was a bargain. The only downside is that my wife now wants me to buy her a cabin just like it. We will definitely stay here again.

We have a fun group of three families that have bonded over the years. We often spend time at home together but this was our very first 'vacation' after all this time. We chose to stay at the Bear's Den and thought it was the perfect place -a home away from home. It really had everything we needed and we only felt that after the three day weekend we didn't plan enough time to spend there. We'll be back and we'll stay for much longer. Enjoy! -Stacie, Ivins, UT

We were all so impressed with the comfort level and with how well stocked the cabins were. They were truly a home away from home. Dear Lynn and Marc, just returning from our vacation in the US we have very fond memories of our time in Duck Creek village. The moment we arrived we felt at home - the lovely valley, the trout lake near by, the great attractions within an hours drive and the tranquility of a comfortable country home in a great climate, after a day out in the hot canyons - we will come again! We have had a super time here at Bear Cabin. Although we only stayed 4 nights while on our fly, drive holiday around West America. We have come from the UK where it is mainly wet at this time of year and the boys absolutely loved the snow. It was truly amazing to travel around the sights here at the various canyons where it is 60 – 70 degrees Fahrenheit and then to come back to the cabin in waist high deep snow and a roaring fire was fantastic!!The sights we visited were the Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon, Zion Canyon and Pinion Deserted Cowboy Town which the boys loved – right out of an old movie set.The cabin is fantastic and we would like to thank you for the wonderful time we had here.

Being from Las Vegas, it is always a nice change to see trees and real grass. The towns people are great and Yes! the Smoothies are the best! This cabin is beautiful! The rooms are the best. Just about all of the sleeping spots were used. Glad the cabin was big enough for this crew! We will most definitely come back! Thank you Mark and Lynn for letting us stay at your beautiful cabin!
