We just returned from our best trip in a long while! This house is fantastic. The location is great in that it is out of town (15 min walk/5 min drive) so that it is super quiet and peaceful. We would take our daily walk into town via the beach which is stunning. Rooms were great. So nice to have a bathroom with each room for ease. Kitchen is perfect, outdoor dining is fantastic. The only downside is the freezing cold pool. But there is a nearby resort with a warmer pool and pool bar for swimmers. Would return again in a second.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Casa Pacifica is a beautiful home in an exceptional location. It is on a stunning stretch of beach. All the amenities were there. The mornings are glorious with the birds in the coconut palms. Not to be missed is massage from Abigail. She is gifted and will send you into the most relaxed state in the comfort of your own casa. Truly a treat.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Our group of friends stayed at Casa Pacifica in 2009 for one week. At the end of our stay, we couldn't wait to return. We've talked with so many people about this being one of our most memorable vacations EVER! We finally returned in October and stayed two weeks--still not long enough. First of all, the villa was fully remodeled recently and the changes were lovely. The home was great the first time--even better this time. One of the best things about this property are the private guest rooms--no bedroom wall touches another room and each has it's own bathroom. Another is that is this villa is right on the beach. You walk into the entry, through the house, into a lovely courtyard (where we spent hours reading, playing cribbage, and relaxing), past the dipping pool, onto the sand, and into the water. Spectacular place to watch amazing sunsets! My husband and I generally walk into town in the morning--hang out and enjoy the restaurants, the people, the town's charm. We often walk back to town again in the evening. During one sunset stroll on the beach, we came upon people releasing hundreds of sea turtles into the ocean. Passersby were encouraged to pick one up, name it, then watch it scuttle toward the ocean. A powerful experience. We later learned San Pancho Turtles-a non-profit organization--rescues eggs after they are laid, puts them in incubators until they hatch, then release these amazing tiny creatures every evening during the hatching season (July-Dec). On our final night, I watched a mama lay 115 eggs in the sand, cover the nest, disguise it, and head back into the sea. I could write forever about this, but it's better if you experience it yourself. Other highlights: we ate at so many good restaurants in town, drank many good adult beverages (my favorite was the mango daiquiri's at La Ola Rica's main restaurant and their 2nd one that just opened on the beach). We had the best shrimp tacos I've ever eaten at Baja Takeria. My husband fell in love with their food--we went back four times! Since we extended our stay to two weeks, we took day trips to San Blas, Bucerias (loved), and Sayulita (loved San Pancho more!) We felt completely safe at Casa Pacifica and traveling throughout this area of Mexico. Of course, I hate to share how comfortable I felt because the next time I want to rent this villa, it might be full. Yet this town depends on tourists. I hope you go. Go. Fall in love with this villa and this town.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We rented Casa Pacifica for a week with two other families, our stay was fantastic. If you have kids, you can't beat staying right on the beach, there is no "packing up" production to go play in the sand, just roll out the front door. The layout of the house is well-suited to multiple parties with four bathrooms and nice interior and exterior spaces. Kitchen is well-stocked with nice appliances. Costa Azul is just a short stroll away if you desire a large pool with restaurant service and poolside cocktails :). Abigail is a gem, she ensures your stay is perfect, especially if you get a massage on the upper terrace. The only critique I can come up with is the pool is unheated and quite chilly so we didn't use it very much. Otherwise it's a great place for your vacation. The owners are prompt and detailed in their instructions and communication. Have fun!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We absolutely loved the beautiful Casa Pacifica and the quiet, charming town of San Pancho. Casa Pacifica's location right at the north end of the beach is probably the best in San Pancho. We enjoyed spectacular sunsets and starry evenings from our patio as well as swimming on the beach in front of the house. The property managers, Abigail and Carlos, were delightful. One thing -- the waves at Playa San Pancho can be challenging at times. Weaker swimmers will be able to go in the water only when conditions are right.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our group of friends and family stayed at Casa Pacifica during New Years week 2011. Our communications with the owners was easy and hassle free. All communication was managed promptly in an organized professional manner. The local manager in San Pancho, Abigail, greeted us upon arrival with appetizers and margaritas - all freshly made and beautifully presented. The house is charming and beautifully maintained with up to date appliances and everything was in working order. The outdoor area is well maintained and comfortable with pleny of lounge chairs and beach towels. Also Abigail was just a phone call away to answer any questions we had. The beach is beautiful and the area is safe and quiet. We would rent this property again and recommend it to others.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I really appreciate being asked for feedback. Having owned a condo in Sun Valley that was rented out to the public, we have some knowledge of the many issues owners face. We were delighted with Casa Pacifica. What a wonderful house you have purchased! I really enjoyed its location at the end of the beach, away from vendors that might intrude on the peace of folks nearer to the center of town. The house seems solidly built. The pool is deeper than I expected from the picture, and would have been so refreshing if our weather had been hotter. We spent hours in the patio reading, yakking, relaxing and eating around the patio table complete with the palapa's rope lights. The two blue mesh chairs were the preferred seats just outside the patio. Dishes, pots and pans, cooking utensils, kitchen equipment such as the blender, coffee maker and gas grill made our time in the house easy and pleasant. What a nice grill! The outside switch for the gas to the grill should be noted in information on the house. Kitchen cabinets are on the funky side but have sort of a local charm. You have wonderful internet reception. The bathrooms, especially the fun shower floors, made us grin each time we entered. Bed linens were fine as was the quality of the towels, although not every room had wash cloths. Lighting in the bedrooms seemed fine, and we all really enjoyed your wide array of books throughout the house. We also loved having the CD player; thanks for leaving that for our use. Thanks again for a wonderful vacation. We all loved it! EdieDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

What a great place! We have been home for two weeks now but still remember fondly sitting on the patio with our margarita's and watching the waves crash on the rocks. It was so nice to stay at a rental home that does not feel like a rental home. Obviously you have decorated and supplied the home as if it was only for your use and to a renter, this feels very special. We just can't say enough about what a wonderful time we had! The location is fantastic, the patio provided many wonderful moments, the upstairs patio was our sanctuary and the bedrooms were as comfortable as our own home. We will be back next year for sure! In the meantime we will spreading the word among our friends in Seattle about the wonderful gem we discovered in San Pancho. Best Regards, TeresaDid you find this review helpful? San Pancho and Casa Pacifica - what a great combination! Fabulous restaurants in town, fantastic cooking on the grill at home. A casual friendly town and a casual friendly house - but with lots of special amenities. Lying in a chase lounge on the beach, taking a fresh dip in the plunge pool, walking the mile long beach, having a cocktail at sunset and then grilling up a batch of fresh fish caught that morning by the local fisherman - these are the things that dreams are made of. Everyone in our group absolutely loved their stay at your home and also fell in love with San Pancho! Thank you so much for sharing Casa Pacifica, DanielleDid you find this review helpful? San Pancho, but to be more specific, Casa Pacifica is my husband's favorite place in the whole world. And we travel a lot. I must admit, it is one of my favorite places too. We can't wait to go back! We've traveled to Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas and several locations on the Caribbean side of the country. So when a group of friends decided to book a place in San Pancho, we didn't know what to expect. In fact, we were a bit leery as to what we were getting ourselves into when it seemed far away from a big city. We arranged, in advance, for a van to pick us up at the airport. The driver stopped at one of the Mega Super stores and we stocked up on groceries. Back on the road, the driver turned left off the highway, toward the ocean and we drove through an authentic Mexican Village with dusty streets, small (and large) homes and lots of friendly locals. The moment we walked in Casa Pacifica's front door, we were not disappointed. The villa was clean and spacious, but the best part of all: the view was magnificent. We walked through the entry, past the kitchen, through the courtyard, onto the sand, and into the water. You cannot get any closer to the beach than this! And the sunsets were breathtaking. We felt amazingly safe. We lounged, took walks, played games, shopped, swam, and ate at some of the best restaurants we've ever eaten, like La Ola Rica. Some days we cooked in. The place was stocked with everything needed. The thing our group of couples liked best, was how private the bedrooms are in this villa. Each room has it's own bathroom. No bedroom walls are shared with other bedroom walls so there is a great amount of privacy. And those who liked to get up early in the morning didn't disturb those who liked to sleep in. Casa Pacifica is an amazing find and we hope to travel there again and again. It is a place to relax, forget about life back home. I have a blog that tells a bit more and includes some photos. Please check it out by googling traveladdict911. I think the villa has a listing of tours that people can take advantage of. There is also a hotel nearby that may offer some adventure tours. Our group did not partake in anything except relaxation. I did have an amazing massage, and would recommend getting one. Go. Enjoy. Fall in love with Casa Pacifica and San Pancho.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
