Albuquerque studio description
This property was just built. It is attached to my private home through your private courtyard, but not accessible through the main house. You'll love it. Beautiful hardwood floors, a brand new queen size bed, and kitchen, eating and office areas. The bathroom features a stunning walk-in shower with a frameless glass shower door. There's a large closet with shelves. The courtyard has a bistro table for two and a fun glider for seating. The whole casita has a Route 66/50's retro feel to it. (And only minutes to the Route 66 diner.)

Sweet Little Studio in Old Town Albuquerque
Sweet Little Studio in Old Town Albuquerque
My husband and I stayed in this cute little studio while visiting family for Thanksgiving. It was conveniently located next to Old Town and Little Anitas. Everything was super pristine and clean, bright, and quite! Comfortable bed, large shower, all the amenities of a nice hotel. The owner was very accommodating with our last minute arrangements. We would definitely stay here again for a weekend getaway.

Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay and decided to include the casita as part of your honeymoon, holiday getaway. It is nice and quiet, isn't it? And so close to Old Town. It's also seconds from the Biopark, where the River of Lights is being held. So pretty!
Well Kept Secret
Well Kept Secret
We recently stayed in this casita for a week while sightseeing in Albuquerque. The VRBO listing is accurate and the unit is a bargain for a couple or single traveler. The casita is brand new and immaculate, well supplied and comfortable. Wi fi reception is great. There is a patio perfect for wine and cheese at the end of the day or coffee in the morning. The location simply could not be better. It is located in a gated community 5 minutes from Old Town, the bio park (absolutely worth a visit), Highway 40, and great restaurants. Several museums and a grocery store are minutes away. Blythe, the owner is helpful and knowledgeable about the area. What more could you ask for? .

Owner response: It was a pleasure having you both as guests. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and I look forward to your return visit. Thanks for such a detailed review. The casita is so close to Old Town, with so many nice shops, galleries and restaurants. I forgot to mention Antiquities. You'll have to try that next time you are here. It's one of my favorites!
Wonderful host with a beautiful, brand new home and guest house (large room with separate entrance, walk-in closet and private bath). Great neighborhood, easy walk to Old Town shopping and eating.

About the owner: Transplanted from Florida and Boston (but born in LA), I've been in Albuquerque since 1998..not long enough to be a native but long enough to know my way around and to help you feel welcome. I'm a Realtor/Renovator/Designer/Writer and I love all of the historic aspects of Albuquerque, as well as all the music events and art fairs.
Why the Owner Chose Albuquerque:
This is my dream home. The beautiful casita style studio suite sold me on the floor plan. The neighborhood can't be beat. On one end of Mountain Rd (where the speed limit is only 18) is the bosque and walking trails and at the other end is Old Town and all the museums. It's safe and convenient to the freeways. I think you'll be impressed. It's the kind of property that makes you say 'wow!'
The Unique Benefits at this Studio:
You'll have wonderful privacy..a comfortable courtyard to sit down with your morning coffee. The room itself is cool and peaceful, with plantation shutters and crisp white linens. I am thrilled to have this property to offer. I'll be close enough if you have a question, and distant enough that you'll feel on your own.
