We loved our visit to this beautiful lake home! It was well appointed and decorated in good, thoughtful taste. The owners have a flair for color and art. Very relaxing and quiet. There is much privacy, you really feel as if you are far away from the hustle and bustle, but in reality, you are close to any activity or amenity you may want/need. Our time there consisted of relaxation and water activities. We did spend an afternoon in Manhattan, which is a beautiful and easy drive. My husband prefers constant activity, I, on the other hand, prefer quiet. Both or our needs and wants were met! If you are a reader, meditator, artist or enjoy culinary arts, you will love it here! If you want many options outdoors, then this is the place too! Lots to do at the lake, hiking, 4-wheeling, bird watching, etc. The area in the Flint Hills is stunning, a national treasure! I highly recommend this vacation home! The owners are gracious and happy to offer help and ideas to make your stay memorable!

Perfect in everyway
What a perfect vacation. We were lucky to find this place at the last minute. Kris did such a wonderful job making sure we had the best vacation. Her and Steve even offered to stock the fridge for us for a very reasonable fee!! That was such a huge help, I didn't have to worry about anything except enjoying my vacation with my family. We walked along thr trail every night and I even had coffee in the morning on one of the benches on the trail, so beautiful! The covered porch was a perfect spot to spend a rainy evening and the kids loved going to the water everyday. We will for sure be back, it was perfect in everyway!!!
