We are just finishing our 10 day stay at this unt. I have made a few trips to Maui in the past, and in my opinion, considering all factors, this is the best unit, in the best condo complex in Kihei. My wife and I have two toddlers, and the ease of access to two beaches is amazing. The grassy "play" area right out the patio door is perfect for kids, and fabulous for stepping outside to watch the sunsets. And being on the main floor, makes it so easy to jump to and from the beach. Restaurants and stores are within easy walking distance. We will stay here again, and will recommend it to anyone.

Recommended for:People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

Icing on the Cake.

Dear Tomoko. We had a most fantastic time and your condo was the icing on the cake. We usually stay at Kihei Kai Nani across the street but being ocean front was such a wow for us. The sound and view of the ocean is incredible. The breezes from gentle, soft, to full blown, invigorating, oxygen-laden trades amazed us. Being able to dine on the lanai looking at the fantastic view is an absolute treat. I could just sit for hours looking! Accessing the beach so easily was also brilliant. My husband spent hours dipping in the ocean. The shower on the lawn is so useful. Swimming pool in the complex is pristine. Royal Mauin has that Hawaiian charm many resorts don't have. We loved it. Your condo is well stocked and feels like home! Thank you for your attention to detail. I so hope you had a great trip to Japan and all is well. Hi Tomoko, We just got home from Maui, and wanted to drop you a note to thank you for sharing your lovely Royal Mauian condo with us. We really enjoyed it, the location was indeed excellent, and the view from your lanai was great to just sit and relax. You were right, this location was great for us and our kids, they could just walk across the street for the shave ice and the cinnamon buns, and we could just walk to beaches to boogie board if we didn't feel like driving. We also enjoyed the rooftop BBQs which we used almost every night. It is just beautiful up there. Anyway, thanks again, everything that we needed was in the condo.

We were lucky enough to spend four weeks in this condo. Having a ground floor unit was amazing. We were a little worried about security but Tomoko has thought about that by providing a simple yet effective security measure. Being able to stroll out of our condo onto what we feel is the best kept lawn on Maui is a true bonus. And then to be able to pick between two fantastic beaches (one to the left and one to the right) is simply the best. Enjoying the sunsets from our lanai while sipping a glass of wine just added to the whole experience. Mahalo Tomoko for providing such a great place to vacation!

This is a great place to stay. It really is possible to go without a car as there are stores, restaurants and one of the most beautiful beaches in Maui right outside. A pleasant surprise was all of the kitchen gear, beach toys and entertainment options ready to go. The owner is very organized and helpful.

Aloha Tomoko, We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your wonderful condo. The ocean-front, ground-floor location was everything that we'd hoped for from our extensive research. Besides the fantastic beach access, we also loved the convenience of the restaurants & shops across the street. We also enjoyed the sunset grilling on the roof deck. It was everything that it said it was. The owner was friendly and flexible with our arrival and departure dates. The owner went out of her way to make sure we knew about all the area had to offer. The condo was well stocked with everything you might need to feel at home. The grounds are lovely. The sunsets are breathtaking.

Tomoko, Hi. I just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful from the livintime staying in your condo. The views are amazing and with the beaches so close it was ideal for our family. My parents and brother stayed in a condo unit on the 6th floor in the same building but we were very happy to be on the first floor and able to go in and out at our leisure. Aloha Tomoko, We want to thank you for the rental of your lovely condominium in Kihei, Maui. We had the best of everything nearby - snorkeling with the turtles and reef fish, boogie boarding on the beach, great shopping, and best of all, a spectacular view of the ocean and the wonderful Hawaiian sunsets! The Royal Mauian also gets highest marks for me. I was surprised and impressed at the immaculate grooming of the grounds and the cleanliness of the common facilities. The homeowner’s representative was a pleasant woman. I think your rate is a little low. I thought the $200 per night was an extreme bargain considering the location and quality of the unit. I’ve stayed in resorts in Kaanapali (Hyatt, Westin, and The Whaler), in Kapalua (The Ritz Carlton), and other condos in Kihei. But your condo combines the best of both worlds – luxurious views, the sounds of the ocean, soft green grass underfoot, easy access to wonderful restaurants and shops all this and the ease and comfort of having our own little apartment (your condo) in a most beautiful setting. We felt right at home in your home – and your hospitality was four-star! Even though we spent 11 days there in May, we’re already planning a return trip for four weeks in November. Overall, the experience was very good. The condo is nice and in good repair. As promised, the beds were new and comfortable. We also appreciated that the condo was very clean. We had a most enjoyable time in Kihei and the vacation condo met all of our needs. With two young boys, the condo not only enabled us to cook our own meals but provided ample space for the boys to move around. Close proximity to the ocean and the community pool provided ample opportunities to go to the beach or swim in the pool throughout the day without having to pack the car and drive. Needless to say, the condo and the surrounding area provided all the comforts of being at home but in a much more relaxed and beautiful setting.

Thank you, we had a wonderful time in Maui. We especially enjoyed staying right on the beach - seeing and hearing the waves from the living room and then walking a very short distance to the public beach next door. We were very happy to have chosen your condo instead of one of the others across the street. My sister-in-law particularly liked having cable tv and a fully furnished kitchen. Since the slightly stormy winter weather that week ruined the visibility forsnorkeling, we made the most of the stronger winter surf by using your boogie boards. We had never tried boogie boards before and wouldn't have thought to rent any ourselves. It was a highlight of the trip! Thank you! Regards, Jennifer
