From the moment you set eyes on our home, you will be thankful. Our wide porch and comfortable rocking chairs invite you to settle in to a relaxing vacation. If you're an early bird, the beautiful sunrises will draw you in, and sunsets at day's end will calm you with peace after a long day. In addition, the natural beauty of the island's award winning golf course adds to the beauty of the day as you relax with a good book.
Our house's ideal location is close to everything! We are nestled in the center of the island and only a block off of the beach and between two golf holes, including the signature hole! The views are fantastic. Your stay will include your choice of a membership to the golf club or the brand new swim club located at the Shoals!
In addition to world class golfing and easily scheduled tee times, Bald Head Island also boasts specialty shopping, a variety of restaurants, and the Turtle Conservancy. The conservancy offers turtle walks to encourage the discovery of the loggerhead turtles who build their nests along our miles of shoreline. The island also encourages boating, activities for the kids, excellent seashells for the finding, and miles of beach where you may be the only one out there! I can not tell you how great it is, you need to experience it.
Once you enter our home, you will discover many fun movies and DVD's for your family to enjoy. In addition, our family really enjoys the puzzles and games, and we hope you will, too! Love to cook? Then this is the house for you. We include spices and the numerous little items (like coffee, dishwashing detergent and plastic wrap!) that make you glad you came to our home. Our garage holds all of the outdoor and beach toys including bikes to pedal around the island!
