Why the Owner Chose Island Park
Island Park is a great recreational area for outdoor lovers of all kinds. Fly fishing, hiking, boating, bike riding, picnicing, atv's, all are welcome here! Everytime I go to Island Park, I feel lucky to be there. It is easy to unplug from the world and just enjoy nature and all the wildlife you see right outside your window. The Arrowwood Subdivision is perfect. I love it out there, wildflowers, large lots with many trees, luxurious custom cabins, wildlife viewing and the privacy and peace you don't find in cabins that are right off HWY 20.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin

Our recent stay at the Lariat Lodge was wonderful. The area is beautiful and quiet; the lodge is very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. We had a house full of children, who enjoyed playing in the meadows and roasting marshmallows over the fire pit. We would definitely return. The only downside for us was the distance from Yellowstone, which was our primary purpose for the trip. We spent a lot of time driving to and from the Park. However, the cabin itself was perfect.
Owner response:I'm happy to hear your family enjoyed the cabin. It is a 40 minute drive to West Yellowstone, depending on traffic. It can take longer in the busy summer season. Most of my clients spend one day in Yellowstone and then find plenty to do in the Island Park area closer to the cabin, less tourists....more fun!

Beautiful cabin with a great location. The cabin was spacious and well appointed. Sitting in the hot tub and taking in the mountain air was a real treat! I recommend driving to the nearby Sawtelle peak for spectacular views of the Island Park area. And of course, Yellowstone is only 20 minutes away. We really enjoyed our stay and we plan to return soon.

We loved this place! Everything there was extremely clean and as described, hot tub, big screen, linens, plenty of beds for our group of 10. The best part for us was no traffic noise, pine trees everywhere and lots of animal sightings for our children. We had never seen a moose before so that was really cool for us. We liked the fire pit and had lots of fun making smores. Hot tub had the nicest lounger in it with so many jets. My husband and I used it every evening after riding the atvs with our kids all day. Great big tv, but we didn't use it much, too busy enjoying the outdoors in Island Park.

Our family really enjoyed our week long stay at the cabin. The weather was a little cold but the hot tub and gas fireplace warmed us up just fine! The kitchen and dining room were plenty big enough for our group of 14 with all the pans and dished I needed to cook. The guys loved the big screen to watch sports on tv. I couldn't believe how much wildlife we saw just sitting on the decks, moose, deer and lot's of elk. We look forward to coming back next summer.
