This is a gorgeous, bright and spacious apartment located perfectly between Portobello Road and Paddington. The nearest tube station is Westbourne Park which is just 5 minutes walk away. Ladbroke Grove station is less than 10 minutes walk away.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a grand Mid-Victorian era villa building. The whole apartment has been lovingly refurbished and re-decorated throughout (May 2013) with all fittings, flooring and carpets renewed to a very high standard. The ceilings are high and windows look out onto the picturesque street and the fabulous private gardens to the rear.
Situated in a beautiful conservation area comprising an attractive mixture of residential terraces and villas dating from the 1860s, constructed in brick and stucco. The buildings are set in generous gardens and the many mature trees form a particularly important part of the area's character.
The stairs up to the apartment are fully carpeted and well lit as is the entry hallway. There is a good sized bathroom with full size bath (overhead shower), WC and basin plus a large cupboard for storage.
Further down the hallway is the very large living room which is furnished with 2 sofas (1 of which is a sofa bed), a large print and music library, hifi and large TV with 30+ UK digital channels. A single futon mattress is provided to comfortably sleep 3 people in the living room if needed.
The bedroom is large and airy with a lovely wooden king size bed and 2 double fitted wardrobes. All linens and towels for all beds are provided and included in the price.
The kitchen at the end of the hallway is fully equipped with basic cooking equipment, cutlery and crockery. Ther is a round table with dining room for 4 to 5 people.
The apartment is heated with a modern gas combination boiler which keeps the place very cosy and provides infinite hot water.
