Welcome to Hale o'Lani Aloha -- The House of Heavenly Aloha... This beautiful two-bedroom, two-bathroom, two-story vacation condo is located on the Robert Trent Jones Jr. golf course in Waikoloa Village on the Big Island. Your lanai overlooks the pool, the ninth fairway, and has a partial ocean view. Waikoloa Villas is a private, quiet, individually-owned condominium complex. This is an upstairs unit. Upstairs the loft-style master bedroom has a king-size bed and walk-in closet. The upstairs also has a bathroom with shower and a separate vanity area. There's also a small office area and plenty of closet space. There are two twin-beds downstairs in the second bedroom. The downstairs bathroom has a combination shower/tub and separate vanity area with washer and dryer. In the living room, the sofa unfolds to a very comfortable queen-size bed. The condo has berber carpets and comfortable furnishings. The 18-foot high wood ceilings make it very spacious inside. Ceiling fans in the living room and bedrooms keep you cool and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes dishes, glasses, cookware, microwave, coffeemaker, and dishwasher. A grocery store is a quick two-minute drive away. If you travel with a laptop and can't live without e-mail, you can check it with our wireless high-speed internet access. The lanai has a nice patio set and a wet bar. It's a great place to begin your day with a cup of Kona coffee, or relax at the end of day. You can also use one of the two pool/cabana areas that are complete with heated pool, hot tub, gas barbeque grills, and shuffle board. A-Bay, one of the best beaches on the island, is about a ten-minute drive away. The condo has beach towels, beach chairs, coolers and even sand toys to make your day at the beach complete. If you decide to play golf instead, renters can get discounted greens fees at the Village golf course. The location of the condo makes it perfect for year-round enjoyment. It does not rain much on this part of the island and the temperature is normally 75 to 85 degrees year-round. You will enjoy a nice afternoon breeze most days. There are very few insects on this part of the island. You'll have a convenient home-base if you want to explore the rest of the island. You can drive to the live volcano in about two hours. Come experience what Hawaii has to offer and feel like you belong here... You can find many activities close by or just relax and enjoy the condo. TAT License #01362810-01

                    I stayed here with my husband and two daughters (4 & 10). The condo is very clean and comfortable. It truely is turnkey with everything you need as stated in the description. We did not need to buy anything other than our food. There were toys and video's to keep my youngest amused. The beds were confortable. The pool and hot tub was right opposite the condo and there never seemed to be anyone using it, so we basically had it to ourselves each time we used it. It too was kept very clean. There is a grocery shop with everything you'll need just a 2 minute drive or about 10 min walk. You will definately need a car if staying here as its a good 10 minute drive to Waikoloa resort with shops and resturants etc. This condo has a real home away from home feel and at such a good rate, it makes it very good value.

                    Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

                    We stayed for 2 weeks (Dec 2010 to mid January 2011) The condo is GREAT!!! This is an older development but for the most part it is well looked after. Some might think it is in need of some upgrades but it is fine unless you are expecting some uber riche digs. Everything works and it is clean. The pool and bar b q area are great for cooking supper and relaxing around after a day of adventure. A perfect way to end the day. The condo is fully equipped so you just need to stop and get your grub. The furnature is nice and the space decorated tastefully... And really.... You are in Hawaii so you will not be inside a whole bunch other than to sleep... This is a way more relaxing vacation than staying at a resort in my opinion... Everything is at your own pace. It is like a home away from home once you get moved in!!! I have been vacationing like this for a number of years. This area is one of my favorites. I hope to get an opportunity to stay in this unit again as it was pretty much perfect for my needs!!! The owner made every attempt to insure my vacation time here was excellent. There was a minor issue that came up that was not directly related to the unit itself. This was not a huge issue but she looked into it immediately and did what she could to address it to my satisfaction. That is excellent service from someone who obviously cares!!! I would rent from her again without hesitation! Great place and great people to deal with... 5 stars in my opinion

                    This condo was a perfect fit for our family of 4 adults. We enjoyed our meals out on the lanai overlooking the pool area and the golf course. It was fun to watch the geckos and the birds in the mornings. The condo was well supplied with towels, mats & sand chairs for the beach and all the needed kitchen tools and appliances. Since the area was so quiet it made for a very relaxing vacation!

                    What a beautiful place and so very relaxing. We will never waste the money staying in a hotel again. We truly felt like we were in our home away from home.                   Why the Owner Chose Waikoloa Village:
                  After visiting most of the Hawaiian islands over many years, we fell in love with the Big Island. We explored the island and found we really liked Waikoloa Village. We liked the fact that it's a quiet area, but we can still go to Kona if we want to do the 'tourist thing.' We also liked that we had everything we needed (grocery store, some restaurants, etc.) just a couple of minutes from us. We love the ocean and can be at the beach in about a ten-minute drive. Another thing we liked about the area is that it's drier than other parts of the island, so there aren't a lot of bugs! It's usually the perfect temperature, with a nice breeze in the afternoon.

                  The Unique Benefits at this House:
                  For years we've rented condos for our own vacations because of the flexibility they provided. (Don't you just want to stay in p.j.s for breakfast sometimes? Without the added expense of room service?). We've stayed in good condos and a few bad ones, too. When we were ready to buy a condo, we wanted ours to be a good experience for people. We made it as turnkey as possible--renters just need to bring luggage and groceries; we've taken care of the rest. One of our favorite things is morning coffee on the lanai (Kona coffee, of course!). It's a wonderful way to start the day. The condo is spacious. If we feel like just 'hanging out' for the day, we can do so without stepping all over each other. The condo is on the 9th fairway of the Village golf course (renters can get discounted greens fees). And it's just a quick walk (about a minute) to the pool and jacuzzi. We also enjoy exploring the island. A lot of the times we just throw our snorkel gear and towels in the car and stop at different beaches. At the end of the day, it's usually a dip in the pool followed by dinner on the lanai. This is an easy place to just relax and enjoy the beauty of the island.
