Original 18th Century townhouse built from authentic Cotswold stone ideally situated on Park Road, a quiet continuation of the High Street of Chipping Campden, one of the most attractive country towns in Britain. 2 independent apartments but cottage can be used as a whole. Apt. 1 sleeps 2, Apt. 2 sleeps 4.
Chapter Cottage provides a self-contained ground floor apartment for two people and a self-contained two floor apartment for four people, both of which have been sympathetically restored in the English tradition.
The second apartment includes a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a twin bedroom with adjacent shower room.
The co-ordinated decor and soft furnishings belie the thoroughly up-to-date renovation complete with gas-fired central heating, modern plumbing and fully equipped kitchens.

Thank you for making lovely Chapter Cottage available for holiday rental. The beautifully updated, light-filled ground floor flat with its French provincial furniture (even down-filled cushions!), fully-equipped kitchen, and delightful garden, made the ideal base for our Cotswold Holiday. We parked the car and didn't need it again for exploring Chipping Campden or walking the trails that begin within one to two blocks of the cottage. At the same time, we were quickly out of town for our outings into Gloucestershire & surrounding counties. Jan told us on arrival to let her know if we needed anything. She meant it. When I requested an additional skillet "when convenient", it was on our doormat the next day! My husband and I loved waking up in this beautiful flat and returning to it each day.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

My mother, my daughter & I, spent 3 months last summer touring around the UK (from the US). We loved this cottage. The location was idyllic...out of a novel. The accommodations were clean, quaint, & amazing...especially considering the price (we paid almost 3 times for other flats/cottages that weren't nearly as fabulous). Our biggest disappointment, is once we realized what a steal it was, we were unable to re-book it. We wish we would have been able to spend more time in Jan's darling little cottage. It was definitely one of our favorite weeks in the UK!! Thanks, again, Jan!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our stay at Chapter Cottage was wonderful. We wanted a very central location in Chipping Campden & found the cottage location, right off the main street, quiet & a convenient short walk to the center Parking our car on the street was never a problem. The friendly property owner met us upon arrival. She was unhurried & extremely helpful. The lovely one bedroom cottage looked & smelled clean, was well maintained, had a comfortable bed (my husband is a big guy) & the kitchen was well equipped. We really appreciated the lounge area comforts, after long site seeing days, as well as the sunny private patio. We have friends on the US east coast who travel to England each year & we were happy to recommend this cottage to them. Chipping Campden is a super home base for seeing all the beautiful Cotswold villages. Our main attraction was driving aimlessly discovering as many picturesque, quaint, thached roofed, stoned cottages & villages as possible. We drove the Coln Valley, visited Keith Harding's World of Mechanical Music, Motor Museum & Blenheim Palace. I do a lot of internet searching before booking apartment stays & was very pleased that I found Chapter Cottage.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway.
