Perfect beach house!
Perfect beach house!
We really enjoyed our stay at this house. The views are amazing and house has porches and windows everywhere to enjoy. The floorplan was perfect for our two families with the in-law suite on the lower level. The owners thought of everything from extra linens to water sports equipment/bikes, etc. Even though the weather was not that great, we still found a lot to do in the area and made the most of the beach and St. Augustine near-by. We would definitely come back here to this house.

Owner response: Thanks you guys. We think return renters should get a discount especially when the weather doesn't cooperate. Take care and hope to see you again :)
This was by far our best vacation rental experience. The kind and generous owners provided a home that was beautiful and well equipped for all our vacation needs. The panoramic views and comfortable deck furniture was perfect for our family gathering as well as relaxing with morning coffee. An opportunity to vacation with our dogs and run on the beach was also a treat! We look forward to coming back.

Palm Coast Retreat Was Relaxing and Wonderful
Palm Coast Retreat Was Relaxing and Wonderful
This house is fabulous. We stayed in the upper bedroom, and were treated to a beautiful sunrise each morning, and a great sundown each evening. We walked the beach every morning and enjoyed the difference between this beach and the beaches where we live in the panhandle. The panhandle beaches are snowy white with virtually no shells, while Palm Coast is more golden with shells, limestone formations and coquina rock. We took a few small coquina rocks home as souvenirs. Our stay was so pleasant that we definitely want to come back. There is a Publix grocery just a couple of miles down the road where you can get groceries, and we cooked all our meals at the house. There are places to eat nearby, but we preferred to cook where we were and invite nearby relatives for supper. From the deck you can watch the occasional ship or sailboat go by, and once we actually saw what looked like a whale jump from the water. We are used to seeing dolphin jump where we live, so knew this was something else altogether. We met the owners who are super friendly - you simply won't find anything to complain about if you stay. I suppose the only people who would not like to stay in one of these coastal homes would be someone who couldn't climb stairs. Most of these buildings seem to be three stories and there are lots of stairs, but at this home there is a bedroom on every floor, and the one on the first floor even has its own refrigerator.
