Why the Owner Chose Starfire
We chose Keystone because we enjoy all of the amenities of the area. We have enjoyed the skiing, ice skating, and all of the hiking/biking trails. We appreciate the close proximity to Denver. The ski mountain and area is very family friendly. The summer festivals and activities are a big draw for us.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
We stay at our place frequently, when not rented. We want to be comfortable there, so have added the extra touches that we enjoy. HDTV is important, as is the availability of the Internet. We enjoy bringing friends and family and appreciate the separate level/area for the master bedroom. The pine trees that surround our townhome give us the mountain feel and privacy that we expect in the Colorado mountains.
Owner's Map of Starfire
We are a pre-retirement professional couple living in the mountains west of Denver Colorado. Jim is an electronic engineer and Donna is a computer programmer. We have 2 adult children and 2 young grandchildren. We still enjoy skiing and also enjoy hiking and mountain biking. We have hiked 18 of the Colorado 14nrs.

My boyfriend and I stayed there with a group of friends for Thanksgiving, and we had the best time. We are going to try to book it again next year and make it a tradition. The town home is amazing the pictures don't do it justice. It is very spacious and has a lot of windows that let in the beautiful views. The kitchen was perfect for cooking our Thanksgiving dinner and they had all the bake ware we needed! The owners were very nice and understanding when my boyfriend asked for a late check out. We will definitely be renting this place again! Thanks so much for making our holiday special.

We have just returned from our annual family trip to Keystone; 15 consecutive years. This lovely Starfire Condo is far and away the best accomodation we have ever had. We ranged in age from 72 to 8 and we all loved it. The kitchen was so wll equiped, the large gas grill made meals a snap and the large round table allowed for fun family conversation at mealtime and during games. The hot tub just steps away from our front door was a favorite activity for the grandchildren at night under the stars. We will certainly hope to rent it for our week next year (God willing and the creek don't rise:-))

This townhome property is lovely, well-maintained, has decks and trees. It has Ansel Adams prints on the walls, a great dining table, good kitchen with granite breakfast bar, lots of light and windows in the common areas, and architecturally is modern yet comfortable. The furniture is plush, and invites relaxing in front of the fireplace or the television or reading a book. The master suite on top is large and has great privacy; the two other bedrooms, on the bottom floor are pleasant, too, and have doors to the outside trees and paths. The layout is well-suited for large groups. The living-dining-kitchen main floor flows well. Though just six of us stayed at the townhome, we entertained fourteen for Thanksgiving! Extended family had rooms at the Lodge, which is walking distance, and others at a little condo. The townhome is close to Keystone lifts, and not far to Breckenridge, either, for mountain boarders and skiers. Nightskiing was open, too. Those of us who did not board or ski, enjoyed staying in on a snowy day, doing some hiking on warmer days, spending an afternoon in Breckenridge Main Street shops and galleries. We took some nice walks along the river and, also, on the path that parallels Soda Creek Road. All of us agreed that the location was perfect for our group-- quiet and treed though not remote. Any season this place would please. One note: Though there are three levels, the main floor is the entrance, master up, other two bedrooms down. Our 86 year old, the grandmother, was quite comfortable with her labrador in tow, and the stairs are well-designed and managable from a bedroom to the main floor. Last note. The kitchen is the most well-equipped of any place I've rented. Glassware, wineglasses, two sets of dishes, good knives, cutting boards. When the owners said I would have everything I needed to prepare a Thanksgiving meal, they weren't exaggerating. There was even a turkey roaster. It was a fun familyThanksgiving, and being in this particular townhome added to our pleasure. Highest recommendation.

We stayed in the house for one week and were VERY happy with the house. It was perfect for our family with the different levels of the home. The location is perfect, close enough but far enough away from the busy area's! It was nice to have a clean home with all the conveniences (pots, silverware, ect) there to use as needed. I would absolutely reccomend the property!!!!

What a fantastic place to spend our vacation. The floor plan is perfect for families (bottom floor for kids and grandkids, main floor living area and master bedroom upstairs for us!). The house is just like living in our own home, complete with everything. We spent the week biking, horseback riding, golfing, chuck wagon dinner, gondola ride to top of mountain for fondue dinner, etc. etc. etc. Only problem was having to leave, one week definitely not long enough. House is short walk to village and playground for kids. I highly recommend this townhouse.

This was truly a week of luxury. The property has everything and is immaculately clean and new. There was room for everyone privately and all had bathrooms, tv's and access to the outside. We certainly would try to stay here again!!!

We had another great vacation at Keystone this week. We spent a day at the Peak 8 Activities Area in Breckenridge, went rafting down Brown's Canyon, Horseback riding, Mountain biking, Paddle boating, took a scenic chairlift ride and went for many walks along the Snake River. The weather was beautiful and your townhouse is always a great place to call "home". Thanks again for helping to make our vacation so memorable. We can't wait to come back !!!!!! Sincerely, Michelle Dugan

This was the perfect place for a family get-away. It easily accommodated 7 of us and everyone (grandma to children) were quite comfortable. The location is nestled in beautiful evergreen trees and is a very short walk to Keystone Lake and bike paths. We loved the well equipped kitchen, private baths, comfortable recliners, gas BBQ and great views. We were even able to enjoy Keystone Lake's fireworks display from the comfort of the deck. Donna and Jim have thought of everything to make you feel right at home. We highly recommend!

We had an awesome summer vacation in this wonderful Keystone townhome. We vaction in Colorado every summer and Keystone is always our favorite resort. This is the nicest place we have stayed yet...very quiet and centrally located to everything. Jim and Donna have gone out of their way to make their guests feel right at home. The townhouse is very well furnished and has every luxury a family could possibly need. We can't wait to come back !!!
