At Raven Ridge Farm Homestay, Nature is infused right into the architectural design. The interior has beautiful exposed timbers harvested from our property and hand-crafted cabinets throughout. You will feel like you are staying in an Elven story book house with spacious rooms, and artfully textured walls that play with the changing sunlight. The 2,000 sq. ft. open floor plan includes a large open kitchen, a large master bedroom with a queen size log bed, a curtained loft also with a queen size bed, and another loft/office for extra sleeping room on futons. The bathroom features an antique clawfoot tub/shower, a Swedish designed commode, and beautiful Mexican tiles. The spacious kitchen is fully stocked for gourmet cooking with pots, pans, spices, and basic dry goods. The stuccoed straw bale design wraps you in comfort and warmth during cold winter weather, and offers a cool refuge from the summer's hot weather.

Raven Ridge Farm is a great place for families with much to explore right outside the door that encourages adventure and discovery. The homestay is adjacent to National Forest land for quick and easy access to hiking, mountain biking and X-C skiing. Our farm is located at 3600 ft. in elevation at the base of 6000-ft. Haskill Mountain. Nearby are numerous beautiful mountain lakes of all sizes, including Smith Lake waterfowl production area. And, we're within 40 miles of Glacier National Park and 17 miles of Kalispell.

Our electricity is captured sunlight and wind that is stored in huge batteries. We offer you a model for future sustainable living at its best and with all the comforts you are accustomed to. We aren't isolated; we just made the choice to harness the sun and make our home's power work just like the plants on our farm. For those of you who have a concern about global warming and the environment we can help you make a difference while on vacation. We also are dealers of renewable energy products and can help you take your experience here home with you. Be the change!

Our 32 acres offer expansive open views all the way out to Glacier National Park while still being tucked away in the cozy privacy of a beautiful conifer forest. Our farm operation is located both on the property well below the house and at another location in Kalispell. During the spring our greenhouse is full of baby plants, and by summer it is full of tomatoes, peppers and flowers for you to harvest and enjoy.

Raven Ridge Farm is also a great retreat if you need a quiet place to think and write. Work from a big desk with big views and high speed internet. Finish-up a thesis or book, or email photos to show your friends what a cool place you are staying in...that is if you aren't too busy exploring or relaxing in a hammock.

Our guests are treated to plenty of starry nights, clean air, and pure water year round. In the summer season, we provide tasty, nutritious, ORGANICALLY GROWN VEGETABLES, herbs, and flowers grown on our farm and provided at no extra cost.

DISCOUNTS: For those who make a commitment to living lightly, we offer a discounted price when you make a smaller carbon foot print to get here. If you are TRAVELING BY BICYCLE(-$150 off/wk), TRAIN/bus (-$100 off/wk), small car, BIODESIEL, HYBRID(-$50 off/wk) or some other alternative means of transportation, be sure to let us know! Travel by train and one guest is essentially traveling roundtrip for free from Seattle or Minneapolis. Car rental available at the Amtrak station in Whitefish, MT, and Glacier International Airport.

We want to empower potential green home builders by being able to "try it on" first. For those not able to pay our full price, we will negotiate during off-peak seasons.

Group Weekly Rates: $1025/week .... $950/wk (Low Consumption Travelers)
Couples Weekly Rate: $900/week .... $850/wk (Low Consumption Travelers)
2-Week Rates: $1950/2wks (3+ in party) .... $1750/2wks (Two or less in party)
Reservations must be secured with a 25% deposit.
