Perfect vacation home!

We really enjoyed the spaciousness and great amenities. The home is well equipped for a group with quality cookware, grills, large dining and relaxing areas. The view is great! We enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the river with snow everywhere, too. Home is well maintained with nice furnishings, very "homey". Loved it! It is away from the crowds, yet close enough to skiing, stores, Yellowstone. We plan to return in about three months for another week!

The BEST vacation rental we have ever rented. The home is immaculate, appointed with every comfort and convenience you could ever want, central to getting to all the local traveler's destinations and in a beautiful setting. The owners are the most gracious hosts possible, available when you need something and invisible the rest of the time. Not only will we be back next year, but can't wait to stay in winter. The house it is close enough - especially with the diligence in plowing the road for tourists! - to local ski resorts to take advantage of the slopes, but far enough away to enjoy the peace of winter and foraging animals without the upscale tourism of being in a crowded resort. And with two fireplaces, fun and cozy. Thank you so much for your hospitality and sharing the beauty of your beautiful house and setting with us. We will be back!!

This was Heaven!

Can't say enough. The house is absolutely beautiful and the setting couldn't be better. Hot tubing right on the river our first evening and an elk swims across the river right in front of us! conveniently located to Yellowstone N.P. and plenty of other one day excursions. The river was running a bit high due to the rain earlier in the month, so I can not comment on the fishing. Look forward to returning to experience it though. Carolyn and Terry are great people and have a fantastic place. The whole family loved it!!!

Owner response:Yes, we always arrange for an elk to swim across the river when our guests are in the hot tub. It 's a special touch of Montana we like to share. Montana paradise

Fantastic place, did'nt want to leave, will be putting in an offer if I ever win the lottery. Photos unable to portray the wonderful atmosphere. After a long day touring around Yellowstone, it was like coming home. Terry and Caroline, had thought of everything you could possible need. They were the perfect unobtrusive hosts.

Fantastic holiday rental. All the photos are very accurate, but they cant reflect the wonderful atmospherel of the place. Terry and Caroline are the most thoughtful of hosts. One morning the power went off, Terry came over with a pot of freshly brewed coffee, for us all, by which time the power was back on. I dont know how they get the guests to leave, my dream home if I win the lottery.

Memorial Day 2011

This vacation home is absolutely stunning. it is very well furnished, and was spotless when we arrived. We had 7 people that ranged in age from 8 years old to 88 years old. The snow kept us away from some outdoor activities but that meant we could spend more time in this beautiful home. We will definitely be back.

girls trip

we took a girls trip, or I should say a middle age womens trip to the O'Neals place. We had a wonderful time. We did everything we had set out to do. Fished, hiked, visited yellowstone, and much more. I have to say, Carolyn was a life saver. She went over and beyond the call of duty. I enjoyed getting to know her and look forward to seeing her again.

Winter Wonderland

Carolyn and Terry, After many visits to Big Sky in the summer, our recent winter escape was wonderful. As always, the house was spotless....the deck inviting (even with the snow!) and the company outstanding. We enjoyed the Yellowstone snow coach tour. The frozen falls and winter wildlife were magnificent. With the ski shuttle from the Meadow, your location is perfect for both cross country and downhill skiers, snowmobilers, snow shoeing, etc. It's a great get-away place.... close enough to the "action", but secluded and private. Best location in Big Sky

Our family has enjoyed many visits over the years in winter and summer. It is the perfect Big Sky location. Sitting right on the beautiful Gallatin River and bordering National Forest, its central location allows easy access to all that Big Sky offers....skiing at Big Sky/Moonlight, Yellowstone (x country/snowshoe) and restaurants. We've enjoyed many evenings after a day of skiing relaxing in the jacuzzi on the deck under the stars listening to the Gallatin just a few feet away. The house is very comfortable (clean and very well furnished) for our family and cozy for just the 2 of us. It is fun for kids (and adults!) to wake up and see moose, elk and even a bison right out the window! Not too many places offer what Carolyn and Terry provide. Being full time residents for many years they have been a great resource for our Big Sky vacations. They are perfect hosts!
