This house, which was written up by The Wall Street Journal, is nestled on a spectacular hillside just south of downtown Oceanside and offers excellent access to numerous beach activities, nature trials and the quaint coastal towns and beaches of Oceanside and Netarts.
Watch the whales pass by in the spring, the beautiful sunsets and morning mist in the summer and of course the awesome storms during Fall and Winter.
Take these incredible views in from two separate living areas and two of the three bedrooms in this approximately 2400 square foot home. Sleeping arrangements are available for 10 with a king, queen, full, and two trundle beds.

Established by President Theodore Roosevelt after being persuaded by two young conservationists who studied and photographed Three Arch Rocks from Oceanside beginning in 1901. It features the largest colony of breeding Tufted Puffins and the largest Common Murre colony south of Alaska. It is the only northern Oregon pupping site for the threatened Steller Sea Lion.
Built in 1890, Cape Meares Light served as the light station for Tillamook Bay. The structure was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993. It offers a great place to walk around and fantastic views along the coast.
Offers great crabbing and views of seals. Crab boats are available for rent in Netarts Bay.

We stayed at Moondance for the first time this September. The house more than met our expectations. The functional layout works perfectly for multiple families. There are two master bedrooms, one on each floor. The main floor master has an enormous jacuzzi that is on par with executive suites at luxurious motels.The downstairs has its own separate living quarters including a kitchen, mini-fridge, family room and laundry room. But the most enjoyable feature of the home was the spectacular view. The house is not on the beach, but looks down upon the ocean from the hillside. The waves crashing on the beach lulls you to sleep without overpowering you as sometimes happens from ocean front property. The beach is just a short drive away when you really need to feel the sand under your feet, but when you want the ocean without the mess, this house is perfect! I hope we can come back soon. Thank you for renting your lovely home!
