Charming, expansive 1940s bungalow in immaculate original condition. Cove ceilings, hardwood floors, beautiful light, connected living room/dining room/kitchen with hand made flagstone wood burning fireplace. Living room and 2 bedrooms look out onto magical garden with mature trees and shrubs, flowers, rock garden, and succulents, gas grill, patio table and chairs.
The kitchen is fully stocked with pots & pans, baking dishes & pans, cooking utensils, small kitchen appliances (blender, french press and/or electric coffee maker, toaster, etc), kettle, mixing bowls, serving bowls, measuring cups and spoons, etc. Dishes, flatware, glasses, mugs, pepper mill, creamer & sugar bowl, and place mats are also furnished. We do our very best to keep a small stash of pantry items too. Paper products provided.
All 4 bedrooms are appointed with brand new memory foam pillow-top mattresses with natural bamboo ticking. There are 3 King Bedrooms and 1 Queen bedroom. 2 King Bedrooms and 1 Queen bedroom are upstairs and there is a door between one of the King bedrooms and the Queen bedroom, which can be an ideal set up if you are traveling with a baby or young children. The 3rd King bedroom is downstairs and has it's own wood-buring hand-made flagstone fireplace (picture not yet added to gallery). Downstairs there is also a second kitchen (although it will not be furnished with cooking supplies), the second bathroom, and a second patio area as this level is walk-out.
The living/dining room has beautiful light throughout the day and is anchored by the original flagstone fireplace. It has a new Samsung LED HDTV with Premium HD Cable including HBO and Apple TV. Of course, there is also secure high-speed internet.
Close-by attractions all within about 5 minutes or less include Downtown Pearl Street, CU, Naropa, Chautauqua, Sanitas Hiking Trails, North Boulder Park, North Boulder Rec Center, Valmont Bike Park, Ideal Market Shopping Center with Whole Foods, Breadworks Bakery, Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy, Barber, Florist, Dry Cleaner, Tuscan restaurant, coffee shop, tea house, running store, and more.

We welcome all inquiries, and are more flexible in the Winter (January-March), but generally prefer to accept reservations that are at least 6 nights if the reservation is more than 6-8 weeks away.

About the owner: Oliver is from New York City but grew up in Boulder while Whitney is from LA. We met at CU where we both graduated from the Film School. We enjoy travel, real estate, interior design, photography, cooking, gardening, hiking, biking, swimming, delicious restaurants, family, friends, and film!
Why the Owner Chose Boulder: This house is peaceful and quiet in one of downtown Boulder's most desirable neighborhoods, Newlands, which is anchored by North Boulder Park where there is a playground, ball field, outdoor BBQ grills and picnic tables, acres of grass, and even cross country skiing in the Winter. It's also right next to the downtown Pearl Street commercial district where all the shops and restaurants are.
