Sit back, relax and enjoy the spectacular sunsets from your private screened-in balcony. Moon Bay Condominiums are located directly on the Gulf, at mile marker 104, only a 45 minute drive from the Miami Airport. This resort, offering beautifully landscaped gardens, sits peacefully on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico.

Enjoy the tranquil feeling of island living at its best. This large and professionally decorated two bedroom and one and a half bath third floor unit looks directly out over the pools and sundeck, to the blue waters of the Gulf. Recently purchased and remodeled, this new listing is decorated in bright colors reminiscent of the Caribbean.

Enjoy your drinks and meals out on the private screened-in lanai or inside in the cozy dining room. The condo sleeps six people comfortably. The master bedroom with Gulf views features a king-size bed with cable TV. The second bedroom has two twins, and the sleeper sofa pulls out into a queen bed. The living room has a TV with DVD and stereo. The condo is air-conditioned and tiled throughout, with ceiling fans in all rooms.

The Condo also comes with its own private 30 foot boat slip. The grounds, pools, clubhouse, sauna and tennis courts are kept in immaculate condition. You can swim or fish from the pier. Barbecues and picnic tables are scattered around the complex for you convenience. The waterfront complex has 84 units, and a private security gate.

Key Largo is the northernmost island of the Florida Keys. Its mild climate makes it a perfect year round island paradise. Noted as being the Dive Capital of the World, there are more than 30 dive shops located in the immediate area, and you can learn to scuba dive in only half a day. You can swim and snorkel right off from Moon Bay's pier, or you can take a two minute drive to John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, the first undersea park created in the United States.

The park encompasses 178 nautical square miles of coral reefs, seagrass beds and mangrove swamps, a great place to snorkel, swim and scuba. Key Largo is also home to the world's largest artificial reef, the Spiegel Grove Wreck. The retired Navy transport ship was intentionally sunk for that purpose. The waters surrounding Key Largo are clear and blue with extensive coral and artificial reefs, ledges, walls and centuries-old shipwrecks.

Boating and fishing are another major attraction in Key Largo. There is big game fishing year round, and charter boats with guides are available. You can also rent your own boat and explore the Gulf and its islands and coves on your own. Swimming, water-skiing, parasailing, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and canoeing are additional ways to enjoy the beauty of this island and its waters. At the Dolphin Cove Research Center just two miles away visitors can swim with the dolphins.

After a full day in the sun you have your choice of over a hundred restaurants in the area. Here you will find the casual to the romantic candlelit waterfront dining establishments. The food is incredible and the fresh seafood is a must. Many fine restaurants are located within walking distance.

This little island paradise does not go to sleep when the sun goes down. There is plenty of night life from which to choose. Whether it be at one of the large resorts such as the Cheeca Lodge or the Westin Hotel or some of the smaller piano bars. There are several local hang-outs that feature nightly live music and pool tables filled with native residents telling plenty of fish and island stories.

One of our favorites is the Caribbean Club. It's just a block away and the site for the filming of the Humphrey Bogart classic "Key Largo." It's a great place to watch the sunset, listen to live music and make new friends.
