Our lovely, 3500 square foot, family oriented, non-smoking and pet free home is situated between the 2nd and 8th fairways of the famous Harbour Town Golf Course. From the large deck and pool you can watch golfers go by or enjoy wildlife in the lagoon next to the pool where egrets and herons are seen fishing and raising their young. (Bring your binoculars) The pool area has a wet bar and refrigerator and just off the deck there is a hammock swinging between two trees.
The large sunken living room with walls of glass is divided to allow multiple activities. One end has the media center and decorative fireplace, the other a retreat for reading or playing games. This room and the dining room face the pool. The eat-in kitchen is well appointed with everything you might need to cook at home. You will find the usual staples and spices so you don’t have to buy a bag of flour when you need a tablespoon. The laundry room has a full-size washer and dryer.
The office/den has internet connection, desk and sofa. Wi-Fi and printer is also available. This is a good spot for children to watch TV or play games. The four bedrooms and three baths afford comfortable accommodations. The master suite and 2nd bedroom, both with king size beds, face the pool and deck.
The other two bedrooms face a private courtyard. They respectively have twin beds and a queen sleeper sofa. Each of the bedrooms has a sitting area for reading, contemplating nature or escaping from the children playing Marco Polo in the pool. There are five TV’s, two VCRs and a DVD. There is lots of parking available.
Sea Pines is a gated community with beaches, miles of bike paths, a nature preserve, several charming shopping areas including the world renown Harbour Town Marina, lighthouse and playground. Our home is a 10 minute walk to the beach and five minutes to Harbour Town. (Don’t forget to go and see the free Greg Russell show under the Liberty Oak).
Sea Pines operates a free trolley system. The bike paths may be accessed at the end of our street and bicycle rentals are around the corner at Sea Pines Center. You will also find restaurants, shops, a post office and coffee shop there.
This is a very spacious and comfortable family home where you and your family can enjoy all that Hilton Head has to offer. You will find it equipped as you might find your own home. The best of both worlds; minutes from the beach but you can come back to your residential neighborhood where you can easily walk to restaurants and entertainment.

We stayed in this great house in mid July 2010 with another family along with my Mother-in-Law. in total, there were 10 of us and we all had plenty of space. The pool is perfect and the alligators were an added entertainment for all of the kids and adults alike. They would swim to the bank every time we came out on the deck, but never ventured out of the water. Even the kids knew not to feed them. The pool even has an outdoor bar with a refrigerator for extra beer and drink cold storage. The pictures are well done, but the house is so much better in person. The minute we opened the door to the house, I think all of us were immediately overly impressed with what it had to offer. I am a cook and the kitchen was well stocked with spices, pots and pans and all we needed to enjoy some great dinners and gatherings on the back deck by the pool. The pool was enjoyed morning and night by all. We cooked out on the grill almost daily and all of us agreed that we never slept so well. Even our 3 year old slept through and in late, every night. The beach is a short drive or bike. Very easy to get around by car or on a bike. The owners were great and very helpful. We contacted them before we rented and their assistance was very helpful in our choice in this house. We will visit this house again in the future and would recommend to anyone. We stayed in this home the last week in August and had a fantastic time. The home is so roomy, we never felt cramped. The pool area is wonderful, plenty of room for all the kids to swim and play and still adequate area left over for the parents to read, cook, etc. We only rent houses (as opposed to hotels) when we are on vacation and this ranks up there as one of the best so far. We loved the two master suites--it was definitely a luxury both families appreciated! Thanks for a great time.

Loved this house! So many nooks and cozy places in this home for each person in the family to do their own thing (puzzles & games, reading, high speed internet..) combined with places for everyone to be together (dining, swimming, movies...). A great setting for summer fun.

Our family had a wonderful vacation at your home. We have rented condos or homes on nine previous occasions in Hilton Head and your's was the BEST. BY FAR!!! We actually felt "at home". We had a relaxing seven days and cannot wait to be able to visit again.

Our family enjoyed this house so much we returned the following year. The pool area is like an outdoor room. Each room inside the house has a wonderful view. Everything we needed to feel at home was right there. Sea Pines is the ONLY place to stay so you can experience the island at its best. Hope you enjoy it, too!

What a wonderful home! We felt at home as soon as we arrived! Kitchen is stocked with all the spices, oils etc. Beautifully decorated and very clean. Basketball hoop, lagoon view, awesome pool. Not one complaint!!

We spent two wonderful weeks at this home in the summer of 2005. The house is very clean, well equipped & decorated exactly as seen in the pictures. Also, it probably has the sunniest pool in Sea Pines! With a lagoon view from the pool deck, it was quite easy to get absorbed in the nature all around us (especially the alligator!) Harbour Town is within a 5 minute walk, so shopping, dining, water sports and entertainment were always close at hand. I highly recommend this home (just save two weeks next summer for us!)

You will not find any visitor comments in our file because this is the first time we have rented our home. You could be the first.If I could poll our children and grandchildren I am sure we would have it voted 5 star place to vacation. Being so close to so many activities you just never have bored children or adults and you can walk or bike to almost everything. The horses at the stable love carrots and apples, the playground at Harbor town has an incredible tree house, walk to the top of the lighthouse and look at the sound and the golf course, rock in the rocking chairs while watching the boats in the marina, go down to South Beach and get on the web cam and wave to friends back home or shoot a few hoops on the cement driveway with the family.We have had seven grandchildren “sleeping” in one end of the living room and having a wonderful time. Our visitors live with a bird book in hand and the children have learned so much about nature and wildlife.Barbeques on the deck, multiple kids in the hammock and contests for swimming and diving. It’s a big pool so you don’t have the adults being cannonballed unless they want to be. Lots of places to sun but plenty of shade as well. Now you too can provide your family a “Summer at “Grammy’s House”.. In fact, bring Grammy, she will love it too.
