We have a lovely 2 story 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath condo at 'The Villas' - a safe, gated community that is a stones throw from all of the major destinations in town. Built in 2007. Close to the freeways, walking distance to downtown, and SHORT drives from Nob Hill, Balloon Fiesta Park, Old Town & Albuquerque Studios. Downstairs, we have a comfortable living room complete with DirectTV, DVDs & games. Fully stocked kitchen to entertain guests with a gorgeous wine hutch. We have a separate dining room with a leaf large enough to seat 6. A powder room, laundry room (w/ washer / dryer), and a 1 car garage. We have a P90X work out station set up in the garage if you'd like to gym at home, and even floaties (w/ pump) for the pool (hot tub open year round). Outside, we have a serene flagstone patio with landscape lighting, seating for 6, and a covered gas grill. Upstairs we have a luxurious master bedroom w/a queen size bed, walk in closet & its own bath (double sinks, garden tub). The main guest room has a full bath just next to it and a double bed. The 3rd bedroom is set up with a brand new futon couch (double bed) that pulls open. Plenty of linens throughout. Major plus: the community pool & hot tub are wonderful and located caddy-corner to the unit There is a BBQ area & a play area at the pool as well. The community is patrolled by security and is very safe. Nice walking paths, and grassy areas. Refrigerated air in New Mexico is a MUST! On demand hot water. Gate clicker & Garage door opener for your convenience. We live just a few blocks away, and would be happy to recommend restaurants, yoga studios, theaters, etc. to make your stay more enjoyable. Perfect for visiting filmmakers, grandparents, house hunters, re locators or just vacationers. Thanks for your interest in our home.

Reservations are only accepted 1 month in advance. Sorry for any inconvenience. For monthly stays - we require a full month security deposit. This is refundable, less an exit cleaning fee of $ 100. We'll also require the first months rent.

About the owner: My husband Matt was born and raised here in Albuquerque. He is an attorney specializing in Employment Law and Construction Law. I am a Realtor most of the time, and I also work on 1 feature film a year in the very healthy film industry here in town. We had our first child Wyatt in January 2013 and he keeps us both busy.
Why the Owner Chose Albuquerque: We personally use VRBO wherever we go (Thailand, Seattle, Napa, etc.) and we always find ourselves MUCH more comfortable in a home than in a hotel. It's nice to make a sandwich, or have a bowl of cereal rather that eating out every single meal. It's also more affordable both in lodging and meals. Our home gets compliments for the colors, the light, the decor and the overall comfortable feeling. We hope you agree. The best part is the location. We can be ANYWHERE in a matter of minutes - rather than being way up in the Northeast Heights, or dealing with traffic on the Westside. You can even take the back road (Edith Blvd.) straight to Balloon Fiesta Park.
