North Vancouver house description
We've taken care to make our suite cosy and warm with heated floors and comfortable furniture. A queen-sized bed is in the spacious bedroom and the walk-in closet will allow you to unpack your suitcase and feel right at home. The bathroom has a shower (but sorry, no tub). The small kitchen has everything you need (and if it doesn't you have only to ask us): a two burner cooktop, a small fridge, microwave/convection oven, toaster, coffee maker and more. The shared laundry room has a big freezer with room for your needs as well as ours. WiFi and cable are included with a good array of channels to choose from but you'll be too busy exploring to do too much TV watching. A great array of restaurants, all within walking distance, will make decisions difficult. Grocery stores, shops, library, sushi, coffee shops (we specialize in those!!!) and ice cream/yogurt vendors are plentiful. Transportation isn't a problem if you don't have a car: a bus stop is a block away and a short walk down to Lonsdale Quay will find you at the Seabus terminal. Our Skytrain system will take you all over town and even straight to the airport at the end of your visit.
Our suite is a bright basement suite with windows that bring a lot of light in and there is a private entrance guarded by two cats - both friendly to a fault. If you're missing your own pet one of ours will be pleased to accept any amount of neck-rubbing.

About the owner: We are two sisters, born and raised in Vancouver. We've lived in North Vancouver most of our lives. Our half duplex was built in 2012 so it's virtually brand new and we love it. One sister is a retired teacher/librarian and the other, a professional accountant, is semi-retired. We downsized from our previous home in North Van where we lived for over 25 years partly to get away from our big garden. Our new garden and deck are just the right size and we love sharing them with friends and family.
Why the Owner Chose North Vancouver:
We chose this area of North Vancouver because we were looking for something within walking distance shops and restaurants. A park nearby provides a beautiful setting for morning walks and we love the south-facing back yard that provides a lot of natural light.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
At first a bit apprehensive about changing neighbourhoods we quickly settled into Lolo (Lower Lonsdale) and its proximity to everything we need but the best thing about it is that it's simply...home.
