If you are looking for a house - this is the one! The house is located a few minutes from both grocery stores off the side road which was always clear and plowed. The free bus is about 2 blocks away if you dont have a car. Vail Village and Lionshead are between and 5-7 minutes away. The minute you walk into the house you see windows everywhere that look out on a beautiful stream just behind the house and the mountains! Each and every window has a beautiful view. The hot tub is located just outside back door on the HUGE deck overlooking that pretty stream. ! The kitchen is fully stocked and we cooked most meals there and had a dinner for local friends in the big dining room with large table.. The living room has wood burning fireplace with wood just outsode front door. The downstairs has 2 bedroom with 3 full/queen beds- to sleep 6. The sofa in the sunroom pulls out. Note- in the sunroom under the bar where the chairs are there is a second control panel/switch for the heat. We didnt know/notice it until 3 days in and were a little cold! HA!! And a full sizes washer dryer in the laundry room. The master bedroom is upstair with a large soaking tub. The owner is a gem to work with and provides a book with fun local suggestions and maps. We could not have been happier. They have 3 humidifers- I suggest you plug them in and use them. Dry air in Vail. We went to a night time sleigh ride and cookout about 30 minutes away. The Walmart is about 15 minutes if you forgot anything. Movie theather about 5-7 minutes, tops. the slopes just down the street in front of house, 5 minutes. Very clean! Photos dont do it justice!! Grilled on the jumbo gas grill!! Huge flat screen TV. used Hot tub every day!The only bad thing- leaving! Our family will never forget the charming house and our wonderful vacation there! The house , the location - its perfect for any situation. Cannot wait to return! The drive to denver, in clear weather, was about 1.5 hours. Beautiful drive! RENT this house for a good time! Blessings!Recommended for: People with disabilities, sightseeing, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

This beautiful Vail home has every thing a winter or summer traveler could ask for.... It's less then 5 minutes from Vail Village. I personally spend 60 nights a year in Vail for work and pleasure and this is clearly the best 'Dollar for Dollar' option in this wonderful town. Home Theaters, Hot Tub, BBQ, Swimming in the huge creek, great card tables, plenty of space, etc. etc. We even fished off our porch for 45 minutes in July and caught 3 beautiful fish in which we cooked that night on the grill - This Place Is A Must.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

Willow Creek Cabin is right on Gore Creek, which makes a relaxing sound as it flows over rocks next to the deck. You can fish right there. This is a great asset to the house. The views of the brilliant yellow aspens on the mountainside were fabulous - we were lucky to be there during peak fall color. This house is beautifully decorated, with huge amounts of storage and all of the conveniences. The kitchen is well equipped with an upscale stove. The bedrooms are large. Skiers would appreciate the big open tiled entryway - perfect for snow gear and equipment, and wet boots and coats. There is a large wall mounted flat screen TV, and a lot of media options. A huge dining area overlooks the creek, with nice views. Everything is as nice, if not better, than pictured on the websites. Garden The deck, on the creek, is huge. It has lots of seating and a nice big hot tub. The yard is full of perennials - lots and lots of flowers - and some nice clusters of aspen trees and evergreens. Bedrooms/Bathrooms All three bedrooms were good sized and had queen sized beds - four such beds in all. Two bedrooms are on the lower level. One of those is huge, with two beds. The master bathroom was quite large with a king-sized bed and very nice. There were nice linens and plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Frequent and FREE local bus service is maybe a half block away. This bus can take you anywhere in the Vail area easily. Large grocery stores are a mile or two away.Did you find this review helpful? Thanks for sharing your precious log cabin on Gore Creek with our two families over the 4th! Our family wedding up at Beaver Creek was delightful and your place was the perfect base for us to rest, enjoy the flowers, hummingbirds and the setting, the hottub and your lovely decor. We really enjoyed it and hope to return some day,Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We arrived home safely today and I wanted to thank you for sharing your fabulous home with us this week. It's such a great location next to the creek and close to stores, Lionshead and restaurants. We had some great Spring skiing weather and the kids made new friends from all corners of the world at ski school. Everything was perfect. Have a great Easter HolidayDid you find this review helpful?
