This comfortably decorated villa is neat, clean and tidy and offers a nice view of the dunes, ocean and the marsh from the back deck. A brand new (10/09) king bed and bedding, sleeper sofa and loveseat make for very comfy accommodations. And you are just steps to the beach boardwalk.
The spacious living area offers a new queen size sleeper sofa and love seat, cable TV and DVD player, portable stereo radio/CD player, and opens onto an enclosed deck with ocean and marsh views, bistro set and a rocking chair. You can step off the back deck right onto a walkway to the beach. The dining area seats four, and has a great ceiling fan for your dining comfort. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, range/oven, microwave, pots and pans, kitchen appliances and full size washer/dryer. The bedroom offers a new KING size bed and cable television, and has an attached full bath. There is also a half bath accessible from the living/dining area.
On Harbor Island, fun comes naturally! As our special guest, you will have access to the Beach and Racquet Club's swimming pool, tennis facility, and fitness center. There is also a kiddie pool and jungle jim for the children. Spend the day relaxing on the beach, swimming at the Club or Cedar Reef Villas pools (seasonal), beachcombing, or just watching the dolphins playing offshore. Try your hand at catching tasty blue crabs in the tidal creeks or tossing a net to bring home succulent shrimp. For evening entertainment and exceptional dining, you are just minutes away from historic Beaufort. Harbor Island is the perfect spot for an intimate getaway or a fun-filled family vacation.
Located just 14 miles from beautiful historic Beaufort, Harbor Island is about one hour from the Hilton Head-Savannah International Airport, one hour from Hilton Head Island, and about two hours to historic Charleston or it's airport. WARNING: Harbor Island is NOT for everyone!! If you are looking for crowds, noise or traffic then we are sorry to inform you that we don't have any!! However, if you are looking for that wonderful, quiet beach you remembered as a kid, then Harbor Island is the place for you.
All rates exclude taxes and vehicle gate pass; departure cleaning added to stays of less than one week. No smoking, please. Wireless router is not compatible with Macintosh computers. Mac users will need to plug directly into modem via Ethernet cable (provided).
