We were 2 couples coming all the way from Germany and we very much appreciated the extra mile that the owners go to make it a really great experience. The house is beautifully furnished and we found everything exactly as described. A lot of extras were provided for us so that we were able to reduce our luggage considerably. Also, the kitchen is equipped to perfection, there is really nothing that you do not find in there. And the elevator makes it very easy to transport everything to the pool and back, when doing a bbq. The walk to the beach is short and we felt very comfortable to be one block away from Palm Boulevard - especially on the weekend there is a lot of traffic there and Cameron Blvd. is a lot more quiet. There is always a little risk in renting a house via Internet from as far away as Germany, not knowing the owners etc. But we had a very good feeling from the beginning and the owners made us feel every confident and assured "to send the money across the Atlantic" without ever having been there before. We truly enjoyed every day, would come back anytime and can recommed it to all those people who enjoy comfort and peace and quiet..... Thanks a lot for 3 great weeks. As golf players, we can recommend the golf courses Stono Ferry, Legends Oaks and Charleston National Golf Course - we played 10 times and had a lot of fun (and a huge loss of golf balls :-) ). As for the restaurants, we can recommend Morgan Creek and the Boathouse - both on IOP. The fresh fish is fanastic. In case anybody would like to get more information from somebody who enjoyed this house - please contact the owner of the house - he can provide you with my email address to get in contact with me. Again - thanks a lot - we had such a great time.

Three generations of our family stayed in this wonderful beach house the last weekend in March. We prepared food for at least 20 people for each meal and the kitchen was well prepared for the task. The beds and linenes were comfortable and the water pressure and hot water never let us down. The fact that it was a block off the beach kept traffic noise to a minimum. The beach supplies and bikes were really appreciated. Everyone who stayed there would love to do so again.

We cannot say enough good things about this home! All you really need to pack is your tooth-brush because the owners have thought of everything else! We rented this home for our "home away from home" for our daughter's wedding weekend -- and we could not have felt more at home! It was wonderful. The floor plan is open yet very cozy. The bedrooms are spacious with private baths and so beautifully decorated. There are plenty of comfortable seating areas - both inside and out. Honestly - we did not want to leave and will definately come back. Thanks for helping to make our daughter's wedding weekend so comfortable and memorable. Joe and Dottie Ryan (PS: This home has an elevator connecting all floors - which was very improtant to us because our group included grandparents dealing with mobility problems. The elevators made their stay so much more enjoyable and easier!) Thanks again!

Having chosen this house by the previous reviews on the Internet we can honestly say it was all that and more. The house had every amenity of a 5 star hotel. All the equipment needed in the kitchen, grill and pool areas. Each bedroom having a bathroom was great and so was 2 master suites. The decor was beautiful throughout. The walk to beach was close and easy. Overall Isle of Palm was a great area with so much to see and do near Charleston.Having tried other beach areas in NC and SC this is the first we would consider repeating!

I have been coming to the Isle of Palms for nearly 20 years and have enjoyed many different homes on the island as well in Wild Dunes. The beautiful and spacious layout for 3901 Cameron is just perfect. The common areas are so beautifully decorated and big enough for everyone to get together. Also, there are spacious and well appointed private bedrooms each with their own bathroom to enjoy. Our first set of guests had many children. The wonderful pool, outside grill, the short walk to the beach, and the excellent DVD and children's books were all a great hit. Our second set of guests were primarily friends and co-workers who enjoyed the fantastic kithchen and decks with the ocean breezes. This house warmly accomodates all.

What a great house! This was our second vacation to the Isle of Palms and our first stay at this house. We will not stay anywhere else! When you read online that the owners "thought of everything" you could possibly need, believe it! We packed more than we need to. Also, we had two little ones with us and the house was very kid/family friendly. We cooked almost every meal at the house, loved the pool & grill area and made good use of the information binder on the counter to find local activities. Thanks for sharing your beautiful vacation home with our family!

Thanks for a great week in a stunning and extremely comfortable environment. Your pictures really do not do this home justice. We came with our married children and were 3 couples in all. We walked in and gasped with surprised delight as we explored the bedrooms, common rooms and various porches - so many beautifully designed venues to spread out in - where we ended up spending quality time either all together, or as couples, or just by ourselves with our books, our music and our thoughts. You have thought of every detail, right down to the rolling cart to carry food down the elevator to the pool! When not sampling Mt. Pleasant and Charleston restaurants, we cooked up a storm in the professionally designed and supplied kitchen. There was plenty of room for all of us to cut, chop, stir and blend our food and drinks without bumping into each other, and then select one of four dining venues to enjoy our meal. Despite a really bad weather week, we all left rested and refreshed, and feeling that we would definitely like to come back to your quality home again.

Our 1st spring break with family to South Carolina. The home was great and met our family’s needs quite well. The weather was great most of the week. Charleston was great for side trips on rainy days. We loved our vacation and look forward to return trips. Thanks for having everything and more than we might need. We appreciate all the paper products, beach towels, soaps, lotions, etc. The kitchen was so well equipped - more appliances and gadgets than we have t home. You are very generous with all your dishes, cookbooks, cookware, etc. We also appreciated the instructions and labels. Thanks so much!

THE BIG CHILL - '08 We are a group consisting of 7 couples who get together every New Years to celebrate friendship, and life. We had been regulars to a Florida resort the last few years. This year I fell into the position of planning the holiday after talking about a family gathering held in Isle of Palms last year. The beach house was a serious HIT with the six couples who made the trip this year! Everyone had a great time. Like others before us we had a ball cooking up meals in the well equipped, functional, comfortable kitchen. It became the focal location of the group. We ony ate out on New Years Eve. The fellas golfed and the ladies had a Spa Day. It was hands down one of the best "Chills" we've had. Many thanks to you for sharing your home!

What a marvelous house you have, beautifully appointed, with ample room for all of us; great gathering spaces for a whole crowd and also an assortment of inviting porches for some quiet reading or napping. We ate in several nights and every dish, glass and pot we needed was right there. We filled the large, pasta bowl with fresh shrimp from Piggly Wiggly (they cooked it while we shopped) at every opportunity. On our nights out, we looked in your IOP information book for suggested restaurants, and had great meals at the Boathouse, Morgan Creek and Vickery’s in the Shem Creek area. We spent lots of time on the front porch, visiting and imbibing. We enjoyed the beautiful pool from the lounge chairs, as the water was a little cool for us. Also visited the beach frequently and much appreciated the light-weight beach chairs. The elevator was invaluable for hauling suitcases, groceries and assorted seventy-somethings. For those who needed a stable approach to the beach, we found a convenient boardwalk at 21st Avenue (I think) with places to park on the street. We felt extremely lucky to find such a perfect vacation house. Thank you for all the care you put into its design and furnishings. 3901 Cameron is simply a delight. Am already wishing we were sitting on the front porch, enjoying a gentle, ocean breeze.

We had a family reunion/birthday this weekend (9/26/08). 8 kids and 8 adults, The home could not have been nicer, the Saints have thought of everything you could possibly need, from a gourment kitchen(don't worry they have everything for the kitchen you can think of), huge family/dinning area, fantastic pool and patio. All of my family are from Charleston, so we've seen our share of beach homes; we all agreed that this is the nicest most convenient we have ever stayed in.Thanks for a great week end. We highly recommend!

Our group of 10 high school "girl" friends - many for 50 years or longer - just spent a fabulous week at the Beach House! We've been getting together once a year for 15 years - and we all agreed this was the best one yet! Everyone raved about the kitchen - totally equipped & large enough for 10 cooks! We only ate out twice - rest of the time we took turns cooking. Also the beach decor is fabulous! We enjoyed walking the beach, doing water aerobics in the pool and playing cards at night. What a wonderful place to spend a vacation! Thanks, Bill!

(From in-house Guestbook)...My name is Sophie and I'm 11 years old. My grandmother wanted me to write to you and tell you what I thought of the house. To start off your house is SO beautiful. Very clean, inside and out. My whole family stayed here. We all agreed, it was definitely NOT claustrophobic! Also, I love the décor of each room, the themes and colors throughout the whole house was amazing! What I appreciated most, is that you had everything right here – magazines, DVD’s, games, towels, kitchen supplies, books, blankets and other supplies. My little sister who is almost 2 loved all the space and pool toys. I have to mention the TV’s – there great! When I first arrived here I wanted to see the pool and was amazed by the waterfall and cabana! We spent 75% of our time there! I loved the 4 HUGE decks! My favorite thing in the whole entire house that nobody in this book mentioned, was the elevator! This house just feels like home, when I walked in. When I went to the 2nd floor front porch, I could see a beautiful view of the beach. If I had to rate your house from 1 to 10, I would give it a 100, and I’m not lying! Thank you SO much for sharing your beautiful house, this is a memory my family and I will never forget. (Thank you Sophie!)

Our family of 14 plus a baby just spent one of the most wonderful vacations together that we have ever had. The beautiful house and all it offered is one of the most important reasons. The Saints provided everything anyone could ever want or need. We had so much fun staying in and cooking, using the pool reading on the porches, playing games going to the beach and having a good time . Nobody wanted to leave and we'll look forward to going back again one of these days. Thanks for all you did Bill to make it the beautiful place it is. Carlene

Great location, beach in the morning, pool in the afternoon.. Something for everyone. Places to read, or join in games with a large group. The Saints have provide everything one would need to bring for a great beach vacation. Towels, toiletries, kitchen wares, sound system for relaxing at the pool. They have thought of it all! We greatly appreciated all the details. Often times you get a house that sleeps 14, but not enough dishes or cookware to have a dinner for everyone, not the case in this lovely home. You can pack light on this vacation, just bring your clothes, they've thought of everything else, I didn't mention the decor, as everyone else did. Rightly so, beautiful, and comfortable. Thanks to the Saints. You feel like you are at a good friends home and they want you to enjoy it- and we did!

We have done a trip like this annually for 17 years, and staying in this excellent house resulted in our best trip yet. If you like time on decks, a great kitchen, and a short walk to a very nice beach, book a stay now.

We rented Mr. Saint's house for our family reunion. Being that we are a family of 13, I was a little skeptical about having enough room in order for everyone to be comfortable. I need not have worried, we had more than enough room. We all enjoyed the house so much that we did little else but spend our time there. Being that the kitchen was so large and well equipped and the fact that we all love to cook, we never went out to eat. Except for a couple rounds of golf, the rest of our time was spent at the house swimming and playing volleyball in the pool, going to the beach which was two minutes away and relaxing on all the comfortable porches catching up with each others lives. It was truly one of the most layed back comfortable vations we have ever had. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Saing for making your home available to us.

We were fortunate enough to spend Christmas 2006 at this beautiful. We had our 5 adult children and both our mothers. It was the perfect house to accomodate all of us. The kitchen made all the holiday cooking a breeze and I didn't have to unpack any of the extra pots or serving dishes I brought. We are hoping to be able to return to this beautiful home(with the most comfortable beds!) for another family event. Thanks to the Saints for being so hospitable.

At the risk of being repetitive with other positive reports on this house I recommend this property strongly to anyone looking for a relaxing beach house with all the comforts and cleanliness of home. This house was beyond our expectations for a rental property. Not only was the house tastefully decorated and equipped, but also was convenient to the beach (it even has a small wagon to haul your beach stuff in). Make sure you try the fabulous smoothie blender! The island itself is well situated with lots to do and a short drive to downtown Charleston. I recommend the golf courses on the island, not too tough and lots of fun, but hit them straight! We were there the first two weeks of October and were fortunate to have warm weather and no bugs. The beach itself is very family friendly, wide open with a gradual decline into the water, so it is safe for children. The pools and BBQ area were very nice although in October were mostly shaded from the sun, and the pool, not being heated, was a bit too cool to be enjoyable at that time of year (even for us Canadians). This house shows a lot of care by the owner and his welcoming phone call, indeed shows his desire that you enjoy your experience at the house. Well done, Mr. Saint , and thank you.

Our family and friends came over from England for our son's wedding at Boone Hall Plantation this past November and we wanted somewhere special for us to be together. The IOP house was everything and more... everyone was amazed and delighted and we kept walking around, up and down to take it all in. We really needed the elevator for some of our guests who had special needs and it was great. Bill Saint has thought of everything. We had a laptop computer hooked up in the kitchen for a slideshow of the wedding photos the next day at a brunch we gave and it was wonderful to see them so soon after the event. We couldn't have been more comfortable and felt totally pampered. Only wish we could have made use of the pool and cabana which would be fabulous in the summer. The weather was fantastic and we are still talking about the wonderful, happy time we spent at the IOP house. Thank you so much Bill.

We enjoyed everything about the house. The modern accomidations made the week very special. All the details around the house were so well thought out. the kitchen had all the gadgets and equipment one could ever want. The internet access was helpfull in finding out information in the area and keeping connected with home. We really enjoyed the convienence of the elevator to deliver the luguage. We enjoyed the pool and many porches. Best of all the beach was so close and we felt like we had it all to ourselves. The water was so warm and a pleasure to swim in. My mother in law who hasn't been in the ocean for 30 more years went out into far enough to jump into waves. To sum up we had a very special vacatiion that we realy enjoyed. We will look forward to coming back.

Everything I can say has been said...and it's all true. The house is spacious and inviting. Bill Saint is gracious and accomadating. Our family truly felt like we were at home and leaving was much more difficult than staying. The location is wonderful - near the beach, but far enough away from the main road to avoid excess noise. But, with a gorgeous pool on site, the beach was just another option. We'd go back in a heartbeat! Anyone interested in this house for a vacation would not be disappointed in any way. Thumbs up! Five gold stars! My stamp of approval! Nothing but pure pleasure!

What can I say. I was so pleased with the IOP Beach House. The house was so nice and comfortable that we didn't want to go out anywhere. We only ate out once! It was so spacious and so well equipped. The pool area was very private and the landscaping beautiful. The kitchen was amazing. Bill is an outstanding homeowner who was very helpful with all the arrangements. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

It was said over and over again what a beautiful home we had "to come home to each day!" It was probably the first time I can honestly say I enjoyed cooking while on vacation--but then who wouldn't in your state-of-the-art kitchen. The guys even "took their turn at dinner" out on the grill without a word of complaint--- they appreciated everything as much as we gals did--- One of the highlights for them one evening was realizing you had the DVD of "The Patriot" after having seen the old mission at Cypress Gardens and hearing what all was done for the scenes shot there. Other than "a coffee bean grinder" (ha!) you didn't leave out a single item of convenience. Terri's extraordinary gift of decorating made each room warm and inviting and was certainly appreciated all week. Thanks again for all your help in making our week one we will not soon forget! Hope we can do it again sometime.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PERFECT VACATION HOME, YOUR SEARCH IS OVER! THIS HOUSE IS SO SPACIOUS AND DECORATED SO TASTEFULLY. AS WE ENTERED THE HOUSE (11 MOTHERS/DAUGHTERS), ALL YOU COULD HEAR WERE "EWWS AND AHHS" BECAUSE THE HOUSE WAS SO PRETTY AND SO NICE. WHEN WE REACHED THE SECOND FLOOR AND SAW THE HUGE LIVING AREA, DINING AREA AND WONDERFUL KITCHEN AREA (EVERYTHING THAT YOU NEEDED WAS THERE), WE KNEW WE HAD FOUND THE PERFECT VACATION HOME. THE HOUSE WAS SPACIOUS ENOUGH THAT EVEN WITH 11 PEOPLE, YOU STILL HAD YOUR OWN PRIVACY. THE BEDS WERE SO COMFORTABLE AND THE OUTDOOR POOL AREA WAS PERFECT. THE ELEVATOR WAS A ADDED BENEFIT TO OUR GROUP IN THAT WE HAD SOME OLDER LADIES THAT WERE NOT ABLE TO CLIMB THE STAIRS VERY EASILY. ALSO, I WILL HAVE TO SAY THAT MR. SAINT IS THE MOST HELPFUL AND CONCERNED HOMEOWNER THAT WE HAVE EVER RENTED FROM. HE MADE EVERY EFFORT TO MAKE SURE THAT OUR TRIP WAS PERFECT AND THAT WE HAD EVERYTHING THAT WE NEEDED. THANK YOU MR. SAINT!!! THIS WAS TRULY A WONDERFUL WEEKEND AND WE WILL ALWAYS CHERISH OUR MEMORIES HERE FOR OUR MOTHER/DAUGHTER GETAWAY. THE ONLY COMPLAINT THAT WE HAD IS THAT WE WERE NOT ABLE TO STAY LONG ENOUGH!!!!!
