SPECIAL TREAT FOR MY GUESTS: No worries about getting to the beach. We've just added a charming new Surrey Family bicycle built for five. Three adults can fit on the primary seat and two or three children can ride in the jump seat up front. Imagine a golf cart with steering wheels but with peddles! You'll create family memories and get great exercise at the same time.
This beach house is in a prime location overlooking one of two community pools. We're located minutes from the beach, coffee shops, great shopping and amazing restaurants. "A Pineapple Under the Sea" is located in the charming and popular community of Old Florida Village and located one short block from the beach. This tropical beach house paradise is brimming with special touches throughout like granite countertops from South Africa and oil-rubbed bronze finishes in the kitchen. Tile floors throughout the entire first level and private porches off each bedroom and main living room add to the private oasis and ambiance.
Decorated in fun beach colors with a distinctive Hemingway-style, this beach house includes all the comforts of home including first-class furnishings, a TV/VCR/DVD combination in every room, and even a PS2 for the kids. And for those of you who must "work" while on vacation, you will appreciate the recent addition of high-speed Internet/DSL service as an added benefit.
The master bedroom is a private Island paradise tucked away on the second level. Decorated with tranquil sea foam colors and appointed with lush, luxury kingsize bedding and featherbed topper, you'll feel like you're sleeping on a cloud. A private porch with comfortable Adirondack chairs completes your relaxing getaway.
The master bath includes both a stand-up shower along with a tub to melt away any stresses from work or home. His and hers closets along with palm tree inlay armoire and chest of drawers offer ample storage for a week or a month in paradise.
Also located on the second floor, the nautical bunkroom includes two complete bunkbeds AND twin trundles under each so there’s plenty of room for up to six children or an entire family. This fun kids room includes a private bath in the hall decorated in a delightful nautical theme. This room comes with a mounted TV, VCR/DVD, and the PS2 can easily be hooked up for entertaining the kids when they are not in the pool, riding bikes or the Surrey, or headed to the beach or pool.
The queen pineapple-decor guest room on the first floor is a whimsical suite with bright colors and luxury bedding. You'll enjoy delightful mornings sipping coffee on your private porch overlooking the pool before heading out to the beach for another sun drenched day of emerald-colored waves that lap the shores of our sugar-white sand beaches.
Old Florida Village is a quaint family-oriented neighborhood of 67+ colorful "Seaside-cottage-style" homes with winding brick-lined streets and lush, tropical landscaping. Another great aspect is the luxury mattresses in all of the rooms and the fact that my house is fully equipped for hosting a neighborhood party or cooking a full Thanksgiving meal! I've done both!

My family and I traveled to this area of Santa Rosa Beach, FL every summer beginning in 1977. We fell in love immediately! When the opportunity came for my husband and children to build a home in Santa Rosa Beach - it was a dream come true! The sugar sand beaches and tourquoise water is breathtaking morning, noon or night. And by far, our beaches are among the cleanest and white I've ever experienced. I've been amazed at how many guests come back year after year to create family memories of their own! What an experience it is! You can't even imagine how tranquil the beach can be in the Fall. This beach house is a paradise retreat and we hope you will enjoy the thoughtful love and care that went into placing every piece of Island treasures. The featherbed topper on the king size master bed is nothing short of heaven! I slept so peacefully that I never wanted to leave! Enjoy your stay as much as we did!!
