Alles genau wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos zu sehen. Sehr schön eingerichtetes Apartment mit unschlagbarem Preisleistungsverhältnis! Bad, Schlafzimmer und Wohnbereich mit Schlafsofa sind top, alles sauber und neuwertig. Die kleine Küche und ihre Utensilien sind zum Teil etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber es ist alles da was man im Alltag braucht, sauber und funktionstüchtig. Mit dem Zug (etwa 20 Minuten Fußweg zum Bahnhof) ist man in 40 Minuten für gerade einmal 2,15€ in Lissabon. Ich empfehle unbedingt einen Mietwagen, um die Gegend außerhalb Cascais auf eigene Faust zu erkunden, es lohnt sich! Danke Raquel für einen großartigen Urlaub in diesem wunderschönen Apartment, ich empfehle es uneingeschränkt weiter und komme gerne wieder! Everything is exactly as described and to be seen at the pictures. Nice and well equipped apartment, unbeatable for this price! Bathroom, bedroom and living area are top, very clean and as good as new. The small kitchen and its utensils are partially ageing, but clean, workable and you have everything you need. You can get to Lisbon by train (about 20-minute walk to the station) in only 40 minutes für only 2,15€. I suggest to rent a car for exploring the area arround Cascais by your own, definetly worth it! Thanks Raquel for a great holiday in this lovely apartment, i recommend the apartment absolutely unrestricted and I am happy to come again!

Modern Bright Apartment

We stayed 5 nights in beautiful Cascais. The apartment is in a quiet residential area with playground opposite. Walk to Cascais centre is a leisurely 15 mins downhill all the way, we took to taking a taxi back up when feeling lazy, although there is a bus stop near by. Taxis are plentiful and only €4 a trip. The apartment itself is clean and bright with bowls of fruit jellys by our bedsides (lovely touch) a selection of books, dvds etc & plenty of english channels on tv too. Raquel is a lovely host, will help in any way she can and kindly insisted on dropping us to the station the morning or our departure. Would highly recommend, in fact I've booked to return!

An excellent base to explore Lisbon area!

We chose this apartment from many options almost exclusively on the basis of low price. Apartment exceeded all our expectations, and in April we spent there 5 really pleasant nights. Spacious, well equipped, good peaceful location and very important thing, if you have a car: always free parking space front of the main door! Short walk to Cascais harbour and to train station. And if you are too tired to walk, taxi costs only 4 euros. (There are many good restaurants on Cascais harbour, but one of the best is "La Poeta". Exeptional!) Thank You, Raquel, for your hospitality and kindness! We will definately come back some day.

Wir verbrachten 3 Wochen in diesem hübschen Apartment.Obwohl die Wohnung nicht perfekt ist, haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt.Sie ist hell und 2 Elektroheizkörper sorgen für behagliche Wärme.Mein Lieblingsplatz war der windgeschützte und sonnige Balkon auf dem wir immer frühstücken konnten.Der weg in die Altstadt und auch zum Bahnhof sind ca.20 Fussminuten.Die Züge nach Lissabon gehen mehrmals die Stunde,die Fahrt dauert 40 Minuten. Alles war dank Raquel bestens organisiert.Super Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Kleines nettes Apartment in relativ zentraler Lage ! Für zwei Personen absolut ausreichend.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt ,die Besitzerin hat es gemütlich eingerichtet.Bei Ankunft in Cacais machte sie sich die Mühe uns abzuholen da wir (mit dem Mietwagen unterwegs) die Straße nicht finden konnten.Ferner begrüßte uns ein frischer Blumenstrauß und Obst. Wenn man dann ortskundig ist gelangt man in ca.15 min. in das charmante Städtchen.Alles in allem ein schöner Kurzurlaub.Danke Raquel für deine Liebenswürdige Art und herzliche Begrüßung.Ein guter Standort um herrliche Ausflüge in die sehr attraktive Umgebung zu unternehmen . cosy apartment

Its a very nice and cosy apartment situated in a non touristic area. Perfect for a stay as couple with a small child, playground across the street. There is everything you need for standard cooking, although the kitchen is quite small. French bed is comfortable but a bit noisy. Media equipment is exceptionally good for a holiday flat. A Playstation 3 and a lot of great movies and series are a very good alternative for rainy days. Fast direct train connection to Lisbon. Uncomplicated and very nice Landlady. Highly recommended!

Leuk appartement in Cascais. Wij waren met 2 volwassenen en verbleven hier 1 week. Het appartement is verzorgd en compleet ingericht. Het is erg schoon. Eigenaresse geeft goede service en reageert snel op vragen. Prijs /kwaliteit verhouding is ok. Wij vonden het jammer dat het appartement wel wat verder uit het centrum ligt. Verder is het een prima uitgangspunt om Lissabon en omgeving te verkennen. Goede en voordelige openbaar vervoersverbindingen.

A real 'home from home'

We enjoyed a really lovely stay in this apartment in October 2012, it's a great place from which to explore Cascais and the surrounding area. Was great to have access to TV / DVDs / PlayStation as well. One thing I might suggest...when I booked the apartment, Raquel very kindly sent me directions to give to a taxi driver, but they were in English and the taxi driver who drove us from Lisbon Airport didn't speak any English so ended up getting quite lost as he wasn't familiar with the address and he had to keep stopping to ask people once we were in Cascais. So if you plan to get a taxi from the airport in Lisbon, it would be a good idea to get Raquel to write directions from the A5 in Portuguese for you to give to the taxi driver. Otherwise, a great little apartment, good value for money & Raquel was very helpful and friendly.

Die Wohnung ist gut eingerichtet, angenehm und sauber. Sie ist ideal gelegen für Ausflüge und nicht weit entfernt von schönen Stränden. Die Umgebung dort ist ruhig. Ein Auto ist vorteilhaft.

A top time in Cascais

The four of us stayed at Raquel's apartment for 3 nights and it was great. We visited the beaches at Tamariz and Guincho and spent a day in Lisboa. The apartment was easy to find, clean, all the promised amenities worked and there was ample room for 4 people. The balcony gets the sun in the morning so it was nice to sit out for breakfast and cool at night for the evening meal.The kids loved having decent internet access and a play station 3. Raquel was very friendly and accomodating as were the local shop and cafe owners. This is a great base for exploring Lisboa and the Costa de Lisboa - we wish that we had stayed here longer.

Your small, but comfy base on the Lisbon Coast

After staying there for the second time with two children (aged 7 & 10) we can only recommend this cosy holiday apartment. It is located in a quiet Portuguesan neighborhood -the leafy, shaded playground right across the street is a plus for the children. It is a 15-minute walk from Cascais' town centre (uphill on the way back) but a car is recommended for getting to the more spectular beaches like the famous Guincho or simply for shopping or exploring the hinterland. Transport to Lisbon though is fast and cheap by local area trains from Cascais central. Theapartment is clean, well-kept and the friendly owner who lives nearby,is always reay to help.

Arrival at Airport we phoned the owner Raquel, who was waiting for us upon reaching the apartment. We found it spacious and very clean. The owner is very helpful and the apartment is in good location. 15mins. walk to Cascais station and 30 mins to Lisbon. The beach is nice and sandy. Over all a good apartment good location nearby shop,restaurants bus stop, and good value for money. We would like to say Thanks to owner to make the apartment comfortable for us. . Relaxing time in Cascais

My family of three (2 x adults 1 x toddler), stayed here for a month in February. Raquel was a fabulous host and very helpful when a couple of things broke. She always replied to my emails promptly and had the issues resolved within a couple of days. The apartment itself is like the pictures on the website. The only negatives I can see is the small but functional kitchen, small and dark bathroom, apt. on 2nd floor without a lift. The living area and bedroom areas were fine, with lots of natural light. The mattress of the futon and bed were firm but comfortable. The TV is huge and has many channels in English and Portuguese. The Internet is extremely fast. If you have kids you will appreciate the park right in front of the apartment block. Otherwise the is a great Park with two kids playground 20 minutes away, Parque Marechal Carmona. The location is good if you are spending a couple of days in Cascais. It's about 20-25 minutes walk to the centre. There are of course buses which we chose not to catch, but the 416 is about 2 minutes walk from the apartment and there are other buses as well that take you down to the centre of town. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and found all shops closed! Keep this is mind and stock up at Pingo Doce or Jumbo supermarkets which are located near the Cascais train station. There is also a great Market on Wednesday's and Friday's near the centre of the town, it has fresh veggies, fruit, cakes, cheese, meat and fish. Overall, we had a great stay. Cascais is a beautiful and relaxing place!

We were very impressed with the apartment. Spacious, well furnisned, very clean and with a sunny balcony. The location is very good, close to Cascias town and in a quiet area with green surroundings. Very close to a corner shop, bars, Chinese and Italian restaurants and bus stop. Rachel, the landlady, was very helpful and pelasant. She also kindly book ed a very reliable taxi to take us to the airport. We highly recommended. John and Zelia Knight England

When we fist arrived at the flat, we were pleasantly surprised by how lovely, spacious, clean and modern it was. The location is good, a 10-15 minute walk from the town centre and the beach, in a quiet neighbourhood. We enjoyed having a breakfast on the sunny balcony (there's even a dartboard there), overlooking a little park. It's very easy to get to the train/coach station, and there are a few bakeries, cafes and supermarkets not far from the flat. The owner was very sweet and helpful, the communication went smoothly and the price was excellent. We would definitely recommend this flat and we can't wait to come back again! Hola ! ayer volví de mis vacaciones en Cascais. Fui con 2 amigas ( chicas jóvenes ) y estuvimos muy bien en este apartamento. Corresponde totalmente a las fotos y a su explicación !!! Es pequeñito pero muy acogedor y bien equipado, tienes de todo. Está en un barrio tranquilo y seguro. Tiene una parada de autobús (bus 416, pasa de 9'30 de la mañ hasta 19'30 de la tarde, precio 1€) muy cerca, sinó ir en taxi cuesta poco. Si se quiere ir andando a centro hay 15 minutitos. Raquel, su propietaria, una señora muy amable y cariñosa, está dispuesta a ayudarte en lo que necesitas. Cascais es muy bonito ! y sus playas muy limpias. Sin duda, si vuelvo, llamaré a Raquel para alojarme en su apartamento . Raquel, obrigada !!!! Un beijo desde Cataluña !!!

Wohlfühlen leicht gemacht!

Ein ruhiges, gemütliches, sauberes und charmantes Plätzchen zum Wohlfühlen und Ausruhen zwischen spannenden Entdeckungstouren - das war es, was wir uns wünschten. Und genau das fanden wir auch! Eine gute Viertelstunde Fußweg vom Zentrum von Cascáis entfernt (Bus lohnt sich kaum, denn ein Taxi kostet etwa 4 Euro, ein Busticket pro Person ca. 1,60 Euro), nicht riesig, sondern genau richtig! Die ausklappbare Couch im Wohnzimmer wurde sofort zur Liegewiese umgebaut, der Kühlschrank wurde mit leckeren einheimischen Spezialitäten befüllt, das wunderschöne Schlafzimmer mit Blick in die Baumkronen und in den Sternenhimmel sorgte für wirklich erholsame Nächte (auch dank des guten, wenn auch nicht riesigen Bettes!)... Raquel, die Vermieterin, begrüßte uns herzlich mit frischen Blumen und Obst auf dem Tisch und nahm uns auch das zerbrochene Weinglas nicht übel! Alles klappte wunderbar reibungslos und wir waren wirklich überaus glücklich! Vielen Dank und vielleicht bis bald! Judith und Thomas aus Berlin

Wir verbrachten zwei Wochen in der Wohnung und waren begeistert. Sie ist sehr hell und modern eingerichtet. Man hat eine kleine Küche mit Gasherd, großen Kühlschrank mit Eisfach, Toaster (Aufpassen! Man muss den Toaster manuell stoppen,da das Brot nicht automatisch hoch springt), Pürierstab, etc. Sogar eine Waschmaschine mitsamt Waschpulver ist vorhanden. Das Bett wurde vor der Anreise frisch bezogen. Auch Handtücher und Spültücher sind vorhanden, sowie frischer Ersatz. Ein großes Wohn- und Esszimmer ist Mittelpunkt der Wohnung. Man hat es sehr gemütlich. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist nichts besonderes, ein Spielplatz in einer einfachen Wohngegend. Man kann aber schon beim Frühstück die Sonne genießen. Alles in allem ist die Wohnung top gepflegt und liebevoll von der Besitzerin Raquel hergerichtet. Bei Problemen ist Raquel immer zu erreichen und in fünf Minuten bei der Wohnung. Sie spricht etwas Englisch und versteht es auch,wenn man langsam spricht. Was die Lage angeht, braucht man zum Zentrum zu Fuß ca 15 Minuten. Um Lissabon zu besuchen,empfiehlt es sich den Zug zu nehmen. Ein Ticket hin und zurück kostet ca 5 € und die Fahrt dauert ungefähr 45 Minuten. Mit dem Auto kann man die umliegenden Strände in 15 Minuten erreichen, ein Supermarkt (Lidl) ist auch in unmittelbarer Nähe. Sehr schön ist der Cabo da Roca und die Stadt Sintra, auf jeden Fall ein Abstecher wert. Caiscais ist eine sehr schöne und veträumte Stadt und ein tolles Urlaubsziel. Sowohl Strandurlauber,als auch die Aktiven unter uns kommen auf ihre Kosten (Surfen im Meer und Fahrradfahren auf der Küstenstraße und in den Bergen). Wir konnten unseren Urlaub in vollen Zügen genießen und können sowohl Ferienort als auch Ferienwohnung nur weiterempfehlen!

Zur Wohnung: Die Wohnung befindet sich im zweiten Stock eines älteren Appartmentgebäudes, ist sauber und ist recht ruhig gelegen. Ich würde Sie für max. drei (vier bei 2 Kindern) Personen empfehlen, sie ist halt nicht riesig (das meine ich jetzt nicht abwertend). Zum Stadtzentrum und zum Strand von Cascais sind es ca. 2 km, aber mit Abstieg, der dann später natürlich ein Anstieg ist :-) Für den Preis (in der Nebensaison) ist sie ein Tipp. Im Winter könnte es problematischer sein, da nur ein Elektroheizkörper vorhanden ist. Die Küche ist klein, es gibt Pürrierstab, Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, und Waschmaschine und Toaster. Großes TV Gerät mit 2 deutschen Programmen (RTL und deutsche Welle). Die Besitzerin ist eine ältere, freundliche Dame. Speichern Sie sich die Telefonnummer! Man sollte in jedem Fall englisch sprechen können, sowohl im Kontakt zur Besitzerin als auch in Portugal allgemein (portugisisch ist natürlich nochg besser... :-) Allgemeines: Ich persönlich bin ca. zweimal jährlich in Lissabon/Cascais. Lissabon ist nicht ungefährlich (Diebe...) wie viele große Städte, aufpassen! Cascais und Lissabon bzw. die Küste dazwischen sind absolut sehenswert!

Tolle Wohnung

Die Wohnung befindet sich im zweiten Stock, gelegen an einem kleinen ruhigen Park mit Kinderspielplatz. Zu Fuß sind es ca. 20 Minuten zum Stadtzentrum und zum Strand von Cascais. Es fahren auch eine Menge Busse in der nähe. Das hilft beim Weg in Richtung Appartment, da es Berg auf geht. Sehr schöne, gut ausgestattete Wohnung. Der Esstisch ist für vier Personen groß genung. Ein großer Fernseher und sogar eine Playstation 3 ist vorhanden. Auf der Terasse kann man gut Frühstücken! Für den Preis unschlagbar. Ein kleines Manko, die Küche. Zwar mit Pürrierstab, Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, und Waschmaschine ausgestattet, aber wenn man doch groß kochen will fällt auf das es nur ein scharfes Messer gibt, kein Sieb und kein großen Topf. Nur als Tipp. Man ist natürlich nicht zuhause ;). Die Beitzerin ist sehr Nett! Cascais ist hat eine sehr schönen Altstadt. Ein Ausflug nach Sintra ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Im großen und ganzen war der Urlaub in dem Appartment und der Region super!

Estuvimos una semana 2 personas y lo pasamos genial, el apartamento está muy bien y el lugar es muy bonito. Hay un montón de lugares para ver, playa, montaña, ciudad y la zona es muy tranquila, además la propietaria es muy agradable. Volveré, un abrazo desde España Raquel.

Beautiful appartment in a calm neighbourhood

We are a German family of 3, our son turned 9 months when we stayed in the appartment from March 4th to March 14th. The pictures give a very accurate impression of the appartment. The landlady provided a baby bed for us which was very helpful as we came by plane. The appartment is very well located for excursions to Guincho beach (nice beach, great surf), the serra da sintra (lots of things to discover) and Lisbon (easily reached by train). Whenever we came back in the evening (around 7.00 pm) we found a parking spot right next to the appartment. In the direct neighbourhood you find a tiny supermarket that provides everything you may need as well as a bakery that sells a large variety of bread and pastries. A large supermarket can be reached by car in approximately 5 minutes. The landlady was very sweet and helpful (e.g. we don't speak Portugese and she ordered a cab for us to go to the airport). We absolutely recommend the appartment for families - there is a playground just opposite the house.

Hola, estuvimos durante el mes de Marzo en este apartamento, y me gustaría destacar el trato muy amable de su propietaria, Raquel. Por otra parte, la descripción del apartamento se corresponde perfectamente con la realidad, es un apartamento sencillo pero muy acogedor. Hola, soy Raquel de Soria, estuve con mi hijo de 2 años y mi marido pasando una semana de vacaciones muy a gusto. Todo lo que anuncia el propietario coincide perfectamente con la realidad. Todo estaba en buen estado. La casa es muy agradable y acogedora, con sol por la mañana y en una zona muy tranquila. La propietaria es muy agradable, te ayuda en todo lo que necesites, y está muy atenta para que te sientas a gusto. La playa está a 15 minutos andando y hay que pasar por el centro, con lo que se hace un paseo agradable. Sin duda volveríamos a esta casa.

Recommended for: Families with young children, tourists without a car.

nice apartement with everything one needs

I spend a month from dec 2010 into jan 2011 and was quite happy with my coice. The landlady was very nice and helpful, the apartment clean and tidy, provided everything i needed and some more. I did like the friendly atmosphere of the apartment and was especially happy with the good quality of the beds mattress. I really slept very well there. The apartment is situated favorably, not noisy at all, although near to an arterial road, with the windows to a small park with beautiful trees. It s easy to reach per car or bus and a 15min walk away from cascais center, the train to lisboa or the seaside. It's perfect for excursions to lisboa (I prefered the train in that case), to the sintra mountains (car rental is cheap, at least for me coming from vienna) or to the great guincho beach (where you can even go by bike, free of charge and provided by the municipality of cascais). recommended!

This is lovely clean self catering apt in a calm, quiet neighborhood. There is also parking space for the car. Its all the necessary things you need with good quality matress. kitchen is well equipped. Apt has Wi-fi and playstation. It was surprisingly just 10-15min walk to cascais train station , if you plan to go to Libson by train. Also there is grocery store within 250m distance.

Hemos estado una semana aquí y se nos ha hecho muy corta. El piso está muy bien cuidado, limpio, tranquilo y cerca de todo además tiene de todo y la dueña es un encanto.

Hola, soy Eva, de Burgos, yo estuve alli con dos amigas, pasando unas vacaciones. El apartamento es super coqueto, y muy limpio, tiene de todo. La propietaria nos trato muy bien. Esta muy bien ubicado muy cerquita de todo. Nosotras estamos muy contentas, la descripción de anuncio es ta cual, no engañan para nada, lo recomendamos a todo el mundo.
