Alpine House is very private with expansive views of Mount Mansfield and the Stowe Valley. This custom home was designed and built in the Swiss Alpine tradition. We are located on a well-maintained, private road in the desirable Elmore Mountain Road area. We are approximately seven miles from Stowe Village.

Inside, Alpine House is cozy with tons of natural, custom woodworking and three Jotul gas fireplaces. The main level offers a large gourmet kitchen with eating area and gas fireplace. It is open to the living room which has built in bookcases, gas fireplace, Satellite TV, and baby grand piano.

The second floor consists of three carpeted bedrooms, two full baths finished in marble, plus a reading nook. The master bedroom includes a queen-size bed and private bath with shower. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, with a twin-size Captain’s bed, plus a second twin pull out mattress. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed. In the main bathroom you can shower or relax in the soaking tub enjoying the view of Mount Mansfield.

The Den/recreation room is located on the lower level. It also has a gas fireplace, Satellite TV with separate receiver and a futon bed for additional sleeping space.

Our location is perfect; you can snowshoe up the Worcester Ridge, which is right out the front door or cross-country ski on the Catamount Trail which is located one mile down the road. Outdoor activities are endless in the Stowe area.

Alpine House is designed and built with love by its owners. We know you will enjoy it as much as we do. No partygoers please.
