This unit was great for a girls ski getaway. Across the street from the ski rental, ticket office, lifts, and shops. Very spacious condo, nicely decorated, with every amenity you could ask for. Full 3rd bath in the hallway was nice. Big comfortable king size beds in both bedrooms. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and cheerful, even though we were renting through vrbo rather than through them. Bus stop to Park City was right across the street so we didn't need the shuttle. Deer Valley has excellent service from the minute you walk in. It was very nice to be pampered. Unit also has wifi so we could stay in touch with the hubbies and kids back home.

This condo was a great find! Excellent location, literally a 5 min walk to the Silver Lake lifts and restaurants. Great for families. The condo was well equipped, very clean, looks very new. Full kitchen supplies. All appliances appear to be brand new. Good washer/dryer. Very comfortable beds and furniture, very roomy living/dining room with a large dining table for big groups. Large, new flat-screen TV in the living room w/ DVDs. Humidifiers in the closets, the Utah winter air is really dry. The view is across the road to the Stein Erickson Lodge. Indoor heated parking is very convenient and nice, although the spaces are a little tight for the large SUVs that the rental companies give these days. The owner was very nice to us, easy to communicate, quick answers, good rental terms. The Deer Valley staff is super, best service at any ski resort we have visited! We will definitely be back, and hopefully will stay in the same condo.

We had a fabulous time at the Black Bear Lodge in March 2008! Unit #102 was ideally located - a 2 minute walk to Silver Lake Lodge (mid-mountain) and across the street from Stein Erickson Lodge (best Cheeseburgers anywhere - we even did takeout and ate back at Black Bear!!) The beds, pillows and sheets in the unit were wonderful and plush! And the living room sofas and fireplace were comfy. The unit is very clean, well-maintained and a warm inviting place to come back to after a hard day of skiing. David was always responsive and he even provided us with laminated emergency I.D. tags! The staff at the Black Bear Lodge were courteous and helpful. We appreciated the Wi-Fi access in the unit and the large selection of DVDs. We will hopefully return next spring. Thanks for a great vacation! We highly recommend Deer Valley and Unit 102! The Staffords

We had a wonderful time at the Black Bear Lodge in late March 2008! Unit #102 was ideally located on the first floor looking out onto the street with great afternoon sun (great for the hottub!)Black Bear is a 2 minute walk to Silver Lake Lodge (mid-mountain)and we even had powder at the end of March! The beds in the unit were wonderful and plush and the comfy living room sofas right by the fireplace were welcoming after a long day of skiing. David did a great job keeping us fully informed and answering all questions promptly.He even provided us with laminated emergency I.D. tags! The staff at the Black Bear Lodge are courteous and attentive to the needs of guests. We loved the easy wi-fi access and the large selection of DVD movies. Stein Erickson Lodge right across the street has the best Cheeseburgers! we even did take out and ate back at the condo. We hope to return next winter! I highly recommend this unit and dealing with David was a pleasure. He takes great pride in his unit and treats us all like family.

We had a wonderful time at the Black Bear Lodge in Feb.' 08! Condo. unit #102 was ideally located right near the slopes and the Deer Valley powder skiing was a treat as always. The beds in the unit were wonderful and plush, the kitchen amenities plentiful, and the reclining seat in the outdoor hot tub was dreamy! ( The latter was a wonderful treat to come "home to" after a long day on the slopes.) David did a great job keeping us fully informed of any questions we had. He dotted all i's and crossed all t's on the contract so there were no concerns on our end. He even provided us with laminated emergency I.D. tags! The staff at the Black Bear Lodge are truly courteous and attentive to the needs of guests. They always had a shuttle readily available and even let us use their computer and printer to print our airline boarding passes before our departure home. My teenage son especially appreciated the Wi-Fi access in the unit...while my daughter fancied the many Disney DVD's available on loan from the Marik's. We will definitely be returning to this winter wonderland. Thanks for a great vacation! I highly recommend this unit to anyone. Sincerely, Stephanie and Family

As Rob and Indira have indicated, we had a great time in #102 for the first week of Sundance. The Black Bear Lodge personnel were consistently accomodating with excellent shuttle service! The location at Silver Lake is quite convenient to the Lodge and lifts for Deer Valley skiing. Thank you for a wonderful experience! - Erich

Stayed here for the first weekend of Sundance and had a great time. The condo was very warm and cozy. It was nicely appointed and a perfect size for 4-5 people (6 would have worked as well). The hot tub was a regular activity for after a full day on the slopes. We cooked almost everyday and found the kitchen had everything we needed. Best of all the Black Bear's complimentary shuttle service saved us hundreds of dollars in cab fares and countless hours waiting in the cold. It drove us almost everywhere we could possibly want to go. All in all, I would not hesitate to visit 102 again. We were very happy. -Rob

The accomodations were lovely and the location is extremely convenient for skiing. We had plenty of space for our party of six in the warm cozy lodge. The staff was very friendly as well! Would definitely recommend to everyone

We had a great stay at your condo--very cozy and nicely furnished--everything we needed was provided. We loved the hot tub, fireplace, beds, and the great service at the Black Bear Lodge, especially their convenient, free shuttle service. The location was great as well--a 2 minute walk to the lifts and lodge, and a 2 minute walk to the great restaurants at the Stein Erikson resort. A great condo in a great location! Well furnished and appointed - a quick walk to the SIlver Lake lodge with all the activities of the Deer Valley resort and just a 4 minute drive or bus ride to Park City. The hot tub, view, surrounding lights, and snow make for a great ambience. I highly recommend this unit and will be a repreat guest!

Thanks for your hospitality!! The condo was great! We wanted a nice place close to The Stein Erikson Lodge where we were attending a wedding and you can't get any closer than this condo. The condo was equipped with everything you might need (even a great hair dryer!). We could not have been happier with our choice!!

Our stay at Black Bear coincided with the NORBA mountain bike race and we had a wonderful time. The location could not be better, 2 minute walk to the lifts, and a jacuzzi with a view! The condo was not only spacious but also had great views and all the amenities to make our stay very pleasant. Thanks for all your help!

Being so close to Silver Lake Lodge is very convenient. The furnishings are wonderful and comfy beds were much appreciated after a full day on the slopes. There was plenty of room for our family of four. We will definitely stay here again!

Fabulous accomodations - right down to the luxury bed linens. The walk to slopes, mid-hill location, expert staff at lifts/rentals, and lovely condo makes this a no-brainer for future visits. Also, the Black Bear Lodge's heated pool and hot tub are spic and span and delightful! Great communication with owners. Thank you.

My friends, my husband and I, very much enjoyed our stay in this condo at Black Bear Lodge. Beautiful apartment, very nicely decorated, very comfortable, gorgeous view from balcony/ hot tub, great access to lifts, excellent lodge service (the shuttle was driving us around). It was one of the best accommodations we ever had. We are very grateful for finding this opportunity and having great vacation!

This is a great Upper Deer Valley condo, perfect for a family or small groups. The views of Flagstaff Mountain and Empire Canyon from the balcony and hot tub are wonderful. Black Bear is extremely convenient to the Silver Lake lodge and all upper Deer Valley amenities. The condo itself is very nice and roomy, and very comfortable for a week's stay.

This is a lovely condo in a great location--a three-minute walk in ski boots to pick up skis at the Silver Lake ski storage, then two more steps to the slopes! We got our lift tickets and ski rentals right there as well. It couldn't be more convenient or pleasant! We'll be back for sure.

Excellent unit and a great location. This is the best place in the world to ski, and this unit is only a 3 minute walk (in Ski clothing and boots) from the lifts at Silver Lake. We have been coming to Deer Valley two weeks each year for the past 6 years, and would highly recommend this condo. Well furnished, and stocked with everything you need for a great time away from home. The two master bedrooms make it easy to accommodate two couples, or a family with teenagers like us. Great views of the slopes from the balcony private hot tub.

We stayed at this condo for a week of skiing and the accommodations were perfect. The unit was very nicely decorated, the beds were comfortable, and everything was clean and new. The location was great, an easy walk into Silver Lake Village, where we checked our skis, and we were on the lifts with no hassles! The owner was a pleasure to work with in making our arrangements and the staff at Black Bear Lodge was very helpful and accommodating. We would definitely rent this condo again!
