There are two units to choose from........both on the water, 300 STEPS TO THE SAND OF THE ATLANTIC OCEAN/BROADWALK.
Every window has a water view (maybe not the bathroom of unit #10) both units are the same size.........one above the other. Apartment/Condo #10 is on the first floor, and Apartment/Condo # 16 is on the second floor of just a 2 story building.

Hollywood Beach's Broadwalk offers restaurants and wi-fi cafe's, up the road's Joe's Market for your groceries, Taxi Cab it from the airport and you won't even need a car. Although there IS one assigned parking spot (no big trucks). Downtown Hollywood Jazz clubs at night, Harrison Street's fun shops are just a free shuttle or a bike ride away. Then there's Aventura Mall, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and the new GULFSTREAM - A MUST SEE,, Sawgrass Mall, iKEA, Antique Shops, which are all a hop skip and a jump away. A short walk of several blocks to the North and you can enjoy the 'fab' spa services at the Marriott, and/or their brunch and outdoor café. Nearby beach rentals of cabana's, umbrella's, and chairs. The American Planning Association (APA) announced the designation of the “Broadwalk” in Hollywood, Florida, as one of 10 Great Public Spaces for 2013. Each year during National Community Planning Month, APA’s Great Places in America program names 30 exemplary public spaces, streets and neighborhoods to highlight the role planning and planners play in adding value to communities, including fostering economic growth and jobs.
APA singled out the Broadwalk for its exceptional natural setting along 2.5 miles of Hollywood’s beachfront; its ‘old Florida’ character and protection of adjoining historic architecture including Streamline-Art Moderne, Mediterranean Revival, and Mid-Century Modern styles; and a $20 million public-private revitalization of the Broadwalk and adjacent facilities and amenities that was completed in 2007.
“The Broadwalk is the focal point of our community in Hollywood and this award serves to validate our sense of pride for this magnificent public space,” said Hollywood Beach Civic Association Vice President and Hollywood Beach resident Frank De Risi.
“The Broadwalk is a truly special place, one that affords picturesque ocean views, historic architecture, careful revitalization and environmental protections for endangered sea turtle hatchlings,” said APA Chief Executive Officer Paul Farmer, FAICP. “Hollywood shows how careful planning, enhancement and protection of a public space and adjacent areas can generate a return that is many times over what was initially invested,” he added.
Hollywood’s beach promenade has been a defining feature of the town since founder Joseph Young arrived in 1920 to plan and build a new resort community that would become the Atlantic City of south Florida. By 1923, two years after buying his first parcel of land, a 30-foot-wide by one-and-a-half-mile-long pink cement walkway was completed.
Remarkably, Hollywood’s historic character and unique walkway remained essentially unchanged through the rest of the 20th Century. To capitalize on the Broadwalk and historic architecture, the city established the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) in 1997 and developed a comprehensive plan for revitalizing the Broadwalk, and 42 adjoining street block ends that terminate at the cement walkway and making other improvements. To implement the plan, $20 million in revenue bonds were issued in 2004.
Among the new features catching the attention of other coastal municipalities are Hollywood’s woven “Mobi-mats” that extend onto the sand and provide handicap accessibility to the beach from the Broadwalk. (if you read all this and got to here....ask for a 5% discount).
Also, period-appropriate LED lighting is creating a safer environment for nesting sea turtles that use the beach.
