What a wonderful retreat!! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us... You have been very thoughtful in making your guests comfortable.We loved the screened porch and made many memories sharing laughter, music,and conversation there. For our growing family, this was a dream to come together on a Michigan vacation. Now with grandchildren in tow, just like we did when our kids were small. Thank you for a fun week in your home. The size was perfect for our family of 5, and we enjoyed its coziness and fantastic location. (oh and the jacuzzi was lots of fun too). The beach was breathtaking and we loved our many swims in the lake. We were lucky that there were few people there during the day, so we enjoyed our own little paradise.The walk to the lake across the little park was so charming and we loved the benches at the ledge... what gorgeous sunsets! We also enjoyed exploring the charming towns nearby... South Haven, Douglas and Saugatuck were favorites. We caught a movie in Holland, bicycled in South Haven, and sailed out of Saugatuck. What a marvelous location! Thank you for such a nice place to stay!

Thank you for letting us stay at your lovely lakeside retreat. We all had a wonderful time. The grandkids enjoyed the creek with all the little critters they found. The weather was beautiful and we went to Oval Beach almost every day.

We had a wonderful time at your home! We went fishing (7 fish) went sailing, went kayaking, ate alot at Morros, Wild Dog, Ida Red, Coral Gables, Wicks Bar and Grill, Shopped, Hot Tubbed and Slept alot. We felt like we were staying in a tree house.

We had a great time here for our family vacation! This is a wonderful location! we spent time on the beach and saw some beautiful sunsets in the evenings. Wildlife spotted here included squirrels, chipmunks,hummingbirds, frogs, a woodpecker,and a deer. Thanks for letting us use your home for the week!

Thank you for a lovely stay. Our girls Nora and Mia loved wading in the creek and riding in the red wagon down to the beach. We saw frogs in the creek and wild turkey (with chicks) along Creekwood. Your home is lovely and comfortable- the girls liked the bear bedroom best of all. Mia had her 1st toasted marshmallow in the gazebo on the cliff and got hooked on her first Pokemon video in the family room. I felt guilty finishing (reading) "The Right Address" in two days. But hey, we're on vacation right? Thanks again, all the best.

A most beautiful home in a very unique environment. The forested dunes of S.W. Michigan have been a favorite of ours for years. It provides a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of Douglas and Saugatuck. We've enjoyed it all.......from the woods......to the beach........to fishing on the lake. It's surprising when I realize how much we've experienced in the last week. We really had a great week. Thanks for sharing your home away from home.

Beautiful home, beautiful surroundings,beautifully scenic everywhere. Charming towns to visit, clean beaches, great waves on Lake Michigan. This is our first time staying in a home for vacation. You have a beautiful home and we really enjoyed our stay. With six children ages 10 to 16 months we kept very busy even when we were'nt at the beach! We especially liked the wooded setting. The boys caught frogs in the creek........ It was a treat to be able to supervise from the screened porch (or the "secret clubhouse" as the adults called it). Your comfortable, welcoming, well equipped "cottage" with its lovely beach and welcome horseshoe pits took us in when we found ourselves homeless due to circumstances beyond anyones control. We consisted of 10 people ranging in age from 26 month to 82 years and we all found comfortable beds, places at the table and lots of fun things to do. One of the five year old twins saw a newt in the stream. Everybody appreciated the tasteful decoration and the helpful labels on the light switches. You obviously love this house, both inside and out so we wanted to say "Thank You" for sharing with us and rescuing our family get together from ruin. We could not have had a happier second half to our holiday if we had put in an order!!

...............We were all delighted with your well appointed and comfortable home. We all found favorite spots to read in - avid readers all. Everyone found ample places to run, walk, bike and rollerblade. We saw the woodpeckers! The area was great for poking in shops- Holland has some unique shopping-antique looking-and fruit&vegetable stands are the best! The beaches are lovely-especially Oval Beach. I cant't think of when I've been more relaxed -the screened porch has been absolutely the most lovely spot for enjoying the woods ever.
