Your Friends and Family will absolutely LOVE staying at our cabin on Cascade Lake and just minutes from Tamarack Ski Resort and all the other recreation this area has to offer!
This cabin has all of the amenities that you would hope for in an escape to the mountains. Whether curling up on the couch in front of the fireplace and looking out to east, over the lake toward West Mountain, or soaking in the hot tub, you will experience relaxation at its best.
In the summertime you can drive your boat right up on the beach in front of the cabin, and in the wintertime, you can snowmobile across the lake to West Mountain and Tamarack. At the end of the day, relax on the deck and share the adventures of the day. The cabin is situated amongst a grove of aspen and pine trees and is an oasis for birds. It's so peaceful here.
There are 3 bedrooms...One on the main floor, with a queen bed and private access to a bathroom with a shower. On the second floor, one bedroom has two queens, and the other has one queen and one double. There's also a double sofa sleeper in the loft upstairs. There is a bathroom with tub and shower upstairs. You'll also find a desk, complete with lap top computer for your use, on the second floor.

- Kelly's White Water Park has recently opened in Cascade. Enjoy rafting and kayaking yourself or relax in the Visitor Center and viewing seats while you watch others navigate the rapids. There's also The Strand, a walking path along the Payette River, from the north end of Cascade, past the white water park, and on to Fischer's Pond and recreation park at the south end of Cascade, where the kids especially enjoy fishing for stocked trout , volleyball, family picnics, baseball, and viewing Idaho's native fish in an outdoor aquarium. Pack a picnic and take scenic drives in any direction. The scenery and wildlife in the area is amazing!

Year Purchased: 2004
After being born in Boise and my family having bought a small slice of land on Cascade Reservoir in the 70's, I took the plunge in the 2004 to build my dream house on the lake and start to use the property more frequently.
After spending a year thinking, cutting articles, and sketching out ideas, I picked an amazing builder, Chuck Thielst, from McCall to help with this project. I traveled to Donnelly for 2 weeks out of each month for half a year - and the project was done!
I now live in Boulder, CO and travel to the cabin as often as possible. I am an avid outdoorsman who loves to fly fish, backpack, climb, race triathlons, walk my dog, and I enjoy a great meal!
Right now, I'm wishing that I was at the cabin sitting on the deck and grilling some good BBQ! ~Charles

Dear Chuck, My fiancé and I stayed here in September on our first get away alone. We are so pleased to be back. We are on our way to the Winter Carnival. Neither one of us has been there. Very comfortable cabin with enough space to fit everyone. It was an easy drive from the Boise airport, and very close to Tamarack. Clean. Great views of the lake and mountains out the back floor-to-ceiling windows. McCall was a fun town for a dinner out and a little nightlife. Would recommend for a group of friends.

I've stayed in this cabin a couple of times and it's wonderful. There is tons of stuff to do in the winter or summer. The brand new Tamarak resort is right across the lake. The cabin is clean and well designed with lots of light and big windows overlooking the lake. You can also enjoy the hot tub on the deck with a lakeside view. This place is perfect for a family or group. Highly recommended.
