My husband and I just got back from this condo and our experience was excellent. Everything was just as described in the ad. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and the pool area was always perfectly cleaned. It was nice to have the start-up groceries there when we arrived, as it was a Sunday and everything is closed. The condo is walking distance to many shops and restaurants, but we decided to rent a car so we could see the entire Island. Stingray City was a must to do, for $30 US to swim and feed the stingrays, followed by snorkeling was a great deal for the 3 hour tour. There are many Canadians on the island, so we felt right at home. Hockey was being played at every bar we went to, so we never missed a playoff game. We would definitely go back to this place and next time bring the kids with us, we know they would love it as well! Thanks again Mark for an unforgettable trip!

It was so nice to have the space of the condo, rather than a hotel room! The condo is in a great location and we really appreciated how hard the maintenance crew worked every day to keep the grounds and pool in pristine condition. Another nice perk was having groceries available when we arrived. Our kids finished off the loaf of bread and jelly in no time at all. A little hungry after our travels. :) This location is within walking distance of Georgetown and 7 Mile Beach, but I would highly recommend getting a rental car for a couple of days to be able to drive to the East End (blowholes, lighthouse, etc.) and also over to Rum Point to enjoy the beautiful beach. As far as restaurants, we loved Rackam's (right on the water with great food), Coconut Joe's and Lone Star.

My adult family and I stayed in this condo from Christmas Eve to New Years Eve (12/24/11 - 12/31/11) and thought it was great! The condo itself is comfortable and very well equipped, and features a covered balcony with an incredible ocean view, which is where we had all of our meals. The grounds of the condo complex were pristine and beautifully landscaped, with a great pool. The location is convenient to shops, restaurants and a bus stop, and we walked to the grocery store several times to stock up on food. We had perfect weather the entire time that we were there, and the water and sand along Seven Mile Beach are as picturesque as described. The only drawback to this place is that the beach is rocky at this point, and in order to access the beach for 3-4 mile walks, we had to walk along a busy road for about 1/4 mile. Also, there is no condo office or on-site contact so one needs to be fairly self-sufficient in terms of researching activities, etc. Thankfully, a phone and phone book are provided! Overall, a very nice place to stay.

Great Condo, Awesome Location! We had 6 people in our party and had plenty of room. Condo was clean and comfortable. The beginning groceries were a big help when we arrived on Sunday (because the stores are closed on Sundays). Georgia checked in on us to make sure all was o.k. (it was reassuring knowing that if we needed any help, it was just a phone call away). There was lots to do, No car needed. Red Sail Sports snorkeling was fantastic. Sting Ray City was amazing. We had a wonderful evening at the Wharf restaurant -great dinner & drinks on the deck with a beautiful sunset. The kids loved snorkeling right in front of the condo. The pool was crystal clear, quiet and relaxing.

My wife and I, with our two daughter stayed in the condo for 16 days, it was like a home away from home. You are right on the beach, and any time of the day you could enjoy the view of the sea right from the balcony. The apartment is clean and spacious and had everything you would need, even toys for the kids. Mark was extremely helpful at all times and that alone was a pleasure. I definitely would recommend his condo. Went we come back to Grand Cayman we would definitely stay here again.
Owner response:Hi Steven, I am glad you had a nice time at our place. We've tried to set it up with no surprises so our guests can enjoy their time on the island. Mark

We stayed here Nov. 6 to 20 2011, The condo was excellent. The unit was spacious enough for all six of us. The recomendations that Mark had sent were very helpful. The condo is walking distance to Kirk's grocery store which has resonable prices, as well as restaurants. There is a strip mall very close as well. We went on lots of boat dives as well as shore dives, do not miss Maca Buca. The pool was very close to the unit and the ocean is just a few steps beyond, we went snorkeling every day, the wreck of the Gamma is worth swimming down to. The B-B-Ques are by the pool and it is fun to sit there and have a cool beverage while you are cooking supper and watching the spectacular sunsets. My wife and kids cannot wait to go back to Marks condo in Cayman.

My family and I stayed 2 weeks at this property. We had a great time. It was well kept, had a great view of the ocean and a big wonderful pool. We could walk a short distance up to pristine sandy beach or walk the other way into Georgetown easily. You will find the owner and his property manager very knowledgeable and so easy to work with.

My wife and I along with our two young daughters stayed at the condo the first wek of July. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Mark's communication before and after our booking was extremely helpful; almost like having a personal travel agent! Great ocean views from the balcony, short walk to almost anything (usable beach, grocery store, restaurants, etc). Enjoyed our time and would definitely go back again. Thanks again Mark
Owner response:Hi Richard, I am glad your family enjoyed our condo. I'm glad our conversations prior to your trip helped make everything go well for you guys. I hope you come back to Cayman again on another vacation.

This accommodations were great. You need to bring only some shorts, a swim suit and some light clothing. Everything else is provided or nearby. The grounds and pool at the resort are the best. Also the view from the balcony is outstanding. The time of year we went there were no crowds, We sometimes felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The nice sand beach is a short walk straight up the beach. There are local places to eat and a grocery store nearby. Any fly fishers out there, I had a great time using bone-fishers.com. EBankswatersports wave runner tour also outstanding. The washer and dryer are a very convenient when trying to travel light, and the cell phone is a nice touch. We would go again in a heartbeat and recommend to anyone!! Thanks Mark and Kathy!

My wife and I and another couple stayed at Marks condo April 30th to May 7th. As advertised upon our arrival we did have some groceries and that is great after you just traveled. The condo was very clean and had a beautiful view. What a way to watch a sunset. We snorkeled write from the beach they have a ladder to get in and out and it was fantastic. We are divers and we did 6 dives with Don Fosters Dive Shop. They will pick you up but we rented a car. After the first day we thought it was a little to far to walk to see everything. We got the car from Andys Rental Car and it was within walking distance from the condo. They were very nice and a good price on a car. The only thing I could say could be better is the king size bed although spacious is not very comfortable. Its pretty hard. I would recommend this condo to anyone. You will love it. Thanks Mark
Owner response:Hi Mark, I'm glad your family had a good time. On the bed, I did not know they were not still comfortable. No one had mentioned it before but I have Georgia looking into replacing them today :). Come back again soon! Mark

My wife and 1-year old son stayed at Mark's condo in early March - it was a fantastic time. The apartment is beautiful and quite large. As promised, there were a bunch of groceries available, and they had also set up a crib and high chair for our son. The complex is very nice, and while the beach isn't that fantastic, it's so easy to get around that that wasn't a problem at all. The complex is within walking distance of a number of restaurants, and the supermarket is quite nearby as well. The baby loved the apartment, he was always wandering around looking for something new, and he adored walking out on the grounds. While not baby-proofed, aside from a few obvious precautions we took, there wasn't anything dangerous out that we had to worry about, so felt comfortable with the baby just playing wherever he wanted to. Highly recommended!

My husband & I along with another couple stayed at Mark's condo from 2/5 to 2/12. We LOVED our stay. Grand Cayman is truly a paradise. We had great weather. The condo was great and we managed to get around without renting a car. We had a wonderful experience. The listing description of the condo was accurate with every detail. The listing photos represent exactly what you will experience. The condo was clean and well maintained. It had a well stocked kitchen. Mark was extremely helpful with any questions I had. I would recommend this property without hesitation. We did the Atlantis Submarine. We used Tropicana Tours for an all day tour of the island. Our driver, Leo, was wonderful. He also served as a photographer taking multiple pictures of us at the various points of interest. We saw all the important sites - Turtle Farm (tried Turtle Soup - turtle tastes just like beef - it was yummy!), Hell, Pedro St. James, Rum Cake Factory, blow holes, shipwrecks, etc. We had lunch at a small local place (Vivine's). That was the best way to seen the entire island. George Town Villas is as close as you can get to the cruise ships. One day there were four ships. On our last day there my husband & I took a tour to Sting Ray Sandbar and Coral Reef. It was the greatest experience. I was a little apprehensive about doing it but everyone we talked to on the island told us we had to do the sting rays and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Everyone should definitely do that tour. We used Soto's Tours. They were also great. We also snorkeled. That was also a new experience and one I will definitely try again. Our favorite restaurants were Fidel Murphy's Irish Pub (in the Seven Mile Shop area just a short walk away) and Cimboco's (took the bus but also just a short distance if you want to walk). We also used the Dine-In service (got a brochure at the airport along with discount book) and ordered food from Chicken Chicken and Casanova's. Our first night there we ate at The Wharf (within walking distance) It was a bit expensive but also very good. We were serenated by a harpist and we also watched the feeding of the Tarpon fish. I cannot thank Mark enough for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. I definitely would recommend his condo. I hope we can get back to Grand Cayman sometime in the future and I would definitely stay hear again.
Owner response:Hi Suzi, Sounds like you guys had a great time. I've never used Tropicana Tours but I will add them to my list of things for other guests to try. I hope you stay at our place the next time you visit the island. Mark

I saw the above titled t-shirt down in Georgetown and now that I am back FREEZING in the Midwest, I wish I had heeded the lesson! We had a fantastic January visit, using this peaceful, clean, well-equipped, centrally located condo as home base for some of our extended family, ranging in age from 10-81 years. The ocean side pool is great, rarely crowded; we never had a problem finding enough chaises. During daylight, some of us sunned and swam while others snorkeled, swam with the dolphins, went to Sting Ray City, or dove (nearby Ambassador Divers @ Comfort Suites are always very helpful), then we all got together with drinks and snacks to celebrate the glorious sunsets. We have been to Grand Cayman numerous times and each time it is a little harder for me to go home...especailly when there is a 100-degree difference in temps! Whether you are a first-timer or a regular island traveler, I think you would like staying at this condo. It's an easy walk to the grocery store or nearby restaurants or into George Town. The steps to the third floor didn't prove to be as daunting as my elderly mom thought they would and they helped some of the rest of us burn off the vacation calories. We loved reading and dining on the ocean view balcony...it was all good! I would higholy recommend this condo to anyone who is considering it! P.S. Can you take me with you?
Owner response:Hi Shari, I saw your guest book entry and was shocked as I started to read, then pleasantly surprised as I read on. I'm real glad your family had a good time. I'm also glad as a repeat visitor to the island you see the benefits of staying at our condo. I hope you stay with us again on your next visit. Mark

My husband and I and our two college age sons just returned from a wonderful week in Grand Cayman. We found Mark's villa by chance on line and everything his website describes is 100% accurate. The location to Georgetown is convenient for walking almost anywhere. While the villa is close to restaurants, grocery store and shopping, the front of the villa looks out on the Carribean, beautifully maintained gardens, a pool and is very quiet. The view from the balcony is breathtaking any time of the day. In planning our vacation, Mark was helpful answering our questions. On arrival the villa was supplied with some groceries which were welcomed after a long day of travel. The villa is comfortable, nicely furnished and I honestly can't think of anything this place is lacking. I don't know when we will get back to Grand Cayman, but when and if we do, I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Mark.

OUTSTANDING was our experience at your condo. We felt so prepared for our vacation as the packet of information you provided us beforehand was extremely useful. The pictures on your site are true to the views and condo shown. It was so nice having grocery items we requested in the condo upon our arrival. We were in such short walking distance to anywhere we wanted to go. The restaurants you recommended were excellent and we also bought fresh fish several times at the dock, prepared our dinner and sat on the balcony enjoying the spectacular view. The best red snapper we ever had. We love the location of your condo because of the beautiful reefs as we snorkeled for hours admiring the beautiful fish. We couldn't get over how clear the water was there. We loved that is wasn't crowded. There was so much to do on the island, never a dull moment. We went scuba diving (the best experience ever and even saw a sea turtle) and we also rented a jeep and explored the island from one end to another. We felt very safe walking around town, even at night, and the people were so curtious and friendly. We can't thank you enough for the best vacation we have ever had. Of all the places we have traveled, which are many, it was our favorite place and plan on returning again and again. Thanks Mark and Kathy!

Everything was so easy, the weather, the condo and the location. Having the start up groceries after our all-day flight from SoCal was a blessing and Georgia ( the property manager) was great. We loved it. My niece is still trying to figure out why we had to leave? The condo was beatifully decorated and so comfortable. We only turned on the AC one nite the rest of the time we just opened the windows and had the fans. We didn't really cook, but there was everything we needed.....specially my morning coffee. I will highly recommend your unit to anyone going to the Caymans. After checking out some of the other condo complexes, GTV has everything and more. I can't really think of anything that we needed that we didn't have. If you go, don't forget your snokle gear. GTV has the great water access. Loads of fish, coral, and even a shipwreck within an easy swim.
Owner response:Thank you Carrie. We are glad you had a good time. I will post the pictures of your Pirate week adventures on our web site soon. It looks like you had a blast. I have never been to Pirates Week but from what you have said I need to make plans to go that week.

This July we came to Grand Cayman for the first time. My wife, two grown-up daughters and I enjoy the clear waters of the Caribbean. The Duchene condo turned out to be the perfect location. I did not have much time to organize anything but the condo upfront. Thanks to the central location of the condo we only had to walk down the street to get everything from groceries to scuba diving. At the condo we enjoyed the picture perfect views, the pool and the wreck of the Gamma which is great for snorkeling at your door steps. For the scuba diving we signed up with Ambassador Divers who are located at the nearby Comfort Suites. The first days we managed completely without a car and only got one to explore the island at the end. To us it is always very important to find a quite vacation spot without noise next door or worse, noise from above. I selected the condo because it is on the upper level and we found the entire apartment complex very quite. In addition we felt safe with the guards who were always politely present when we arrived at the property after sundown. Even though we usually do not go to the same spot twice, I hope that we will find another opportunity to visit Cayman. If we do we will definitely stay at this condo.

We spent a wonderful week here in early July. Mark was very helpful and answered every question we had when planning our trip. The condo is just as it was described online. Perfect location with Georgetown and many great restaurants within walking distance. We especially loved our meals at Calypso and The Warf. Breakfast on the balcony everyday was equally as nice! Although you may want to pack mosquito spray. We were bitten a few times and you definitely don't want those pesky things to ruin sitting on the balcony and enjoying that beautiful view! The beach in front of the property had alot of ironshore but snorkeling was still great there. We preferred to walk a short way up the beach toward the Marriott for swimming because we had our young son with us and it made entry into the water a little easier. The island is truly beautiful and people were very helpful. Remember that everything at restaurants, the market, etc is priced in CI$. They convert to US$ for you but the price will be about 25% more in US$ with the current conversion rate. The local supermarket also charges for plastic bags so plan ahead and take a bag or two with you! Overall, we loved this location and had a wonderful time. We would definitely recommend to our friends! Cathy & Eddie North Carolina

What an amazing trip. The villas were perfect! Everything you could need was there or Georgia was quick to take care of you. The view is breathtaking. Kirk Supermarket was reasonably priced and within walking distance. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and we were comfortable. I loved the full/twin bunk bed. The sand and water toys for the kids were a nice detail. I recommend a trip to Stingray city and snorkeling to all visitors. Arnold, the security guard was very friendly. My kids loved him. Really didn't encounter one unfriendly person on the island, but i guess being in those surroundings all the time I would probably be pretty pleasant myself. Thanks for a wonderful memorable vacation!

We are research hounds. Based on that, we looked everywhere for a place to stay in Grand Cayman for 2 wks in March 2009. We ended up finding Mark's condo and due to his great website, were confident in booking. We were extremely impressed upon arrival. The condo lived up to everything described and more. We had family staying at other inexpensive hotels, which were almost the same price as this condo, but were nowhere near as nice. For the price, this condo cannot be beat on Grand Cayman. It is a very expensive island to visit, and for good reason! We realized though just how much great accomodations can make a trip. We stayed in lesser accomodations the prior year in the Bahamas and said we would not make that mistake again. Mark's condo is a home. Period. You will unpack and unwind very easily there. It's a great location, and a great condo. Very quiet, assuming due to solid concrete construction. The grounds and pool are perfect. The condo certainly added to our best winter getaway to date. We will be returning to Grand Cayman soon, and most certainly will be staying here again. We would not look anywhere else, it is that good. Jason & Leanne

We just returned from a week in Mark's condo. It was wonderful. We had our own room and our three teenagers shared another, each in his/her own bed. The washer/dryer worked out beautifully. The grounds of the complex were well maintained and the pool (we had it to ourselves much of the time during Easter Week) was very nice. The shoreline is pretty rough, but if you take time to figure it out, snorkeling is no problem. Getting in and out of the water is actually easier at the properties on both sides of this property. Snorkelling is also better one property each way, but all of it is pretty good for shore access. Pay attention to the wind/current along the shore and use it to your advantage. Don't fight it--swim with it. Had a phone issue, but Mark resolved it. Nice, clean and economical. Would recommend it to anyone going to Grand Cayman!

exceeded our expectations...all the other condos and hotels are crammed in and crowded while this complex has a spacious lawn and pool area...it was very quiet especially since only 5 of the 54 units had guests (xmas week 2008)... noone on the beach...dont forget that no liquor or grocery stores on sunday so if you plan to arrive sat aft or sun, tell them what you need and they will have it waiting in the condo.

Our favorite beach/snorkel combo days at Cemetary Beach and Smith Beach. Favorite lunch at Calypso Grill and dinners at The Wharf and Harvey's were terrific. This was our second visit to Georgetown Villas. We never thought of staying anywhere else. The accommodations are spacious, the location convenient to grocery shopping, and fine restaurants. There is great snorkeling, even a wreck, just a few steps from the condo. There is no better value, and no greater privacy, on the island. Forget the crowded resorts, this is much better! Even the neighbors are nice! Meet them around the pool grill! May we personally recommend Fat Fish Adventures for your water tours. Peter, the owner, met us for our Stingray City Tour. The winds were too high for that tour, but he invited us to go lobster hunting with him. We helped him put his boat back at his home, where he showed off the second story he added after the hurricane. He then led us to the best snorkeling sites we have ever been too, and coaxed a small turtle out of a niche in the coral for our daughter. He treated us like old friends, and was a perfect example of the friendly Cayman residents. Louise, John and Jill from Long Grove Illinois

Mark, what a great time we had!! Your condo was everything you said it was. We had 6 people in the unit and were very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and we had everything we needed. Thanks for thinking of everything, such as the beach towels! We loved the location. It is close to Georgetown but not right in the crowded areas of 7 Mile Beach. We were able to walk anywhere we wanted to go. We highly recommend the snorkeling trip to Sting Ray City. Fabulous. The view out of the unit was the best!! Waking up every morning to the beautiful ocean was truly breathtaking! We will definitely be back to the Caymans and definitely be back to your unit. It was a great home away from home.

We had the best time in the Grand Cayman. The unit was perfect for our family of 4. Our unit faced the beach and we used the pool every evening after a full day of sightseeing. Lots of things to do up and down the beach. We definitely recommend snorkeling down the beach at the Wreck of the Gamma. Stingray city is a must see, we recommend the full day to enjoy all the different dive sites, Franks Watersports was the best. Conch and Lobster was on the menu, you just had to dive for it.

Great location for walking to amenities in town and along the beach. excellent snorkeling and swimming in front from the beach. Condo is nicely laid out and well equipped with a very convenient balcony. We were 6 active people enjoying the hot sun and the cold beer. Highly recommended.

We had a great time. The condo was very clean and had plenty of room. The kitchen was also very well stocked with pots and pans, utensils, and even spices. It was also very nice having a dishwasher and washer and dryer. The veiw from the balcony is amazing and we enjoyed breakfast outside every morning. The location of the complex is great too. We walked to town, dinner and the grocery store. We also took a little bit longer walk (about 2 miles) south to Smith's cove. It's a wonderful little beach!

The condo was centrally located between Georgetown and all the activites on seven mile beach. We loved the location and the view of the carribean sea from the balcony, living room and master bedroom. There were many excellant restaurants in close proximity. The grocery store was within walking distance and there was excellant snorkelling right outside the condo. My daughters aged 15 and 16 and mom aged 86 loved the tranquility of the complex and found the island very safe and found everyone to be quite friendly. We enjoyed making our own meals and enjoyed eating out as well. We went on a Jolly Roger dinner cruise and loved the views, a Captain Marvin four stop tour which included conch diving in shallow water, snorkelling at a great coral reef, petting the stingrays at StingRay City and a beach lunch at Kai bo. We rented a car for two days and toured the island. The tennis court and pool were great at the condo. We enjoyed our visit and hope to return. Thank-you Mark for allowing us to rent your condo. We wished we could have stayed longer than eight nights. Barrie, Ontario

We-husband,wife and 2 teenage boys ages 16&17-had a delightful visit thanksgiving week on Grand Cayman. The condo was spacious and extremely comfortable. The cell phone in the unit made our week much more productive. The property is well maintained and the flowers are beautiful. We had perfect weather which made the diving and snorkeling awesome. We had a rental car for our whole visit but public transportation seemed to run regularly. A problem-free vacation.

Myself, husband and 3 teenage daughters had a wonderful vacation. This condo is beautiful, clean, spacious and fully loaded with all of the personal touches you could possibly need. Very accommodating! Georgia (property manager) is wonderful. The food in the kitchen is a very nice treat. Burton (the driver) knows his stuff, and is very dependable. The location of this condo is great! Thanks again, Mark for the use of you delightful island home.

We just returned from staying at George Town Villas. The pictures on the internet, though nice, do not do this property justice. It is absolute gorgeous and the condo is clean, spacious, and "home like". Can't think of anything you would need - in fact, I brought too much stuff. We enjoyed relaxing and eating on the balcony - the cool breeze was so nice on the warm days. The snorkeling right off the shore was amazing. As soon as we put our face in the water we began an adventure. The property is close enough to everything yet far away enough to feel like you have escaped from the everyday hustle and bustle. Many resturants close by but there are many that are just a short bus drive away. Great grocery store, Kirks, that had all the brands I am use to. We enjoyed walking around exploring and learning the ways to get around by flagging down the buses. The Cayman Island people are friendly and full of history and stories if you ask. My 14 year old did not want to come home. He loved the condo and enjoyed relaxing, the pool, snorkeling, Stingray City, Turtle Farm and visiting "Hell" (he got a kick out of that). He also fell in love with an island favorite "Conch Fritters". It was nice having a washer/dryer and once my luggage finds it's way home from the airport (don't ask ha) all my clothes are clean and ready to put up. I believe this condo is great for couples or families with children of all ages and would recommend it to anyone! We'll be back!

We travelled with 3 teenage boys and my 80 year old mother in law. We loved the place and had a great time. The view and the way the property is maintained is exceptional. The boys liked the pool, snorkling, Sting Ray city and the turtle farm, and my mother in law loved looking at the ships in the harbor. We did need a car and that worked out fine although I was initially nervous about driving on the wrong side of the road. Georgia was very nice. Thanks!

Great stay. Some additional comments to what has already been written:- We were 2 couples, friends for 30 years who had always planned but never been on holiday. We found the condo very accommodating for 2 couples for 3 1/2 weeks. We ate all our meals on the balcony except for a few times when it was too windy. We appreciated the shady exposure of the balcony so that we had the choice of shade or going down to the pool for sun. We liked not seeing the cruise ships all the time but enjoyed watching them come and go and all the activity on the water. Binoculars are a must! You will never be bored. We only rented a car the final week so used the local buses before which was a great adventure. One of the highlights was a picnic to Pedro St. James Castle which really is worth a visit. It is only a 10 minute walk from the bus stop. Georgia put us on to Cayman Kayaks and one of the couples went for a wonderful trip with Bob from the Kaibo Yacht Club (the week we had a car). Perfect location, wonderful bright, clean condo. Fantastic holiday! The Williams and The Colfords, Newfoundland, Canada.

"Although I am just now digging myself out of the work that piled up last week at the office, I wouldn't change a thing...we had an absolutely wonderful time...your place is gorgeous, spacious and relaxing...truly all the comforts of home on a tropical island. We did rent a moped from Cayman Car rentals, and could not have had a better experience with them as well...saw, literally, the entire island...broke done just outside the condo one night(rear tire separated from me hitting a curb, I think) and Robbie was there in 10 minutes with a brand new ride...no questions no problems. The weather was fantastic, and we've spent every day so far this week saying...remember what we were doing last week at this time.... Gary L. Grand Rapids, MI"

A great time in the condo. It was everything we had hoped for, and even got a bonus by being there for Pirate Week. The condo is fully furnished so it has everything you need, plus a great pool and good snorkling over the wall.
