We had a wonderful stay at this beach house. The house was fully equipped with everything we could have possibly needed to make our stay comfortable and easy. The house was decorated beautifully, and is very well kept. Although the house was close to the train, it did not interfere with our visit at all. The location is great to both the beach and downtown Spring Lake. Beach badges are provided by the owners, which makes a trip to the beach a snap. We highly recommend this property for families. Enjoy your stay.

best time ever! beautiful house-great location and SO clean! Didn't need to bring hardly anything, as all was provided!

We had a fantastic stay at this well appointed home. Every detail was attended to, and the location was super convenient to both the beach and the quaint town of Spring Lake. The kids loved being able to play in the yard after a long day, while the adults were equally happy to kick back and relax. The owners were a true pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this property for your next getaway.

What a great house! We loved the proximity to the beach and to town. It was super convenient. The house was very clean upon our arrival and was fully stocked with all the essentials for a great week at the shore. The kitchen had everything you could need and more. We enjoyed the outdoor space and grilled out every night. The pool passes were a great addition and offered us flexibility. From our first interaction the owners were very responsive and professional. Spring Lake offers fantastic beaches and the house is an easy walk to enjoy them. The only downside was that our blissful week eventually came to an end. We hope to be back next summer.

Great House for a week with Family at the Shore!

We stayed with family for a week in June and had a fantastic time. The beach is close enough to walk and we thoroughly enjoyed grilling outdoors and relaxing. The house is very clean and had everything we could need and more for cooking which was great. The owners were really easy to work with, seemed very professional in all our dealings and were very responsive in getting back to us. We are looking forward to staying again next summer.

The owners have done a fabulous job in ensuring this house has all that you need for a week at the beach...newly done wood floors!! Great bbq and yard for enjoying meals outside, showering! Very Clean (which is key for me)...convenient to the beach, shops, walks on the boardwalk, etc!! We have rented many houses in many towns...and this beach house far exceeds others. It will truly feel like your home for the week...and great for entertaining down at the beach too!!!! The owners are wonderful to deal with you - contact them and you will see!!! AND - the pool passes that come with the house are fabulous when you have kids and/or need a break from the sand!!!

our spring lake vacation

My entire family spent our summer vacation at this charming beach house in spring lake. We were told not to bring a thing except our clothes and food. And he was right. They had everything we needed. From toys to all your cooking supplies and accessories for a party or family bbq. They had it all. So clean and beautifully decorated. I used to have to bring my own sheets knives, everything but the kitchen sink and we always forgot something. This time we wanted for nothing. How nice for once. The beaches are beautiful. They even have a pool. The town so quaint and picturesque. Great shops restauraunts and things for the kids to enjoy. You can walk to go fishing, to a park, go for ice cream, even to a bar or out for a bite . The boardwalk is nice and close too. The kids loved it! This place has a little of everything. Not just a beachouse a cozy home away from home. See you next year.

Very Disappointing

We just returned from our rental, and were very disappointed. The house literally fronts (about ten yards from) an active New Jersey Transit line, with no barrier between it and the front yard (which is stone, not grass). We have three small children, and were mortally afraid for their safety. About every 20 minutes during the day (and frequently at night too) a train passes and shakes the house. The house is also about 25 yards from a train crossing, so as the trains approach they loudly sound their whistle, and the traffic arm comes down with loud bells and flashing lights. This goes on all times of day and night . Needless to say, it was hardly the "Fabulous Beach House" we were expecting. The house was disappointing in many other ways as well. The carpets are stained and dirty looking, and it is very dark. It is also far from the beach (it may be five blocks away, but it requires a car and parking near the beach is very difficult). Again, not what we were expecting in a beach house. Overall, a very, very disappointing experience.

We were extremely disappointed by this house. Despite the pictures, the house actually fronts on a very active New Jersey Transit rail line with no barrier between the house and the rail. We have three small children and felt extremely unsafe with no barrier between the front yard and a live rail. When the train passes (about every 20 minutes during busy times, and even several times in in the deep of night) it shakes the house, and is extremely noisy. Because the house is also close to a railroad traffic crossing, as the train approaches it blows its whistle several times, the traffic arm comes down with loud bells and flashing lights, and this is repeated again and again all day and night. Overall, it was terribly noisy and not at all like we had expected in a "Wonderful Beach House" where you can supposedly "Feel the Ocean and Lake Breezes," as the ad says. The only breeze we could feel was the breeze of approaching trains. The house is also dark inside, the carpets are stained, and even though it's supposedly only five blocks from the beach, it's quite far, requires a car, and parking by the beach is very difficult. Overall, a miserable experience.

We rented the house for a week. It was a great. We wish we could have stayed all month! There was everything we needed and more. After a day on the beach, our kids loved the board games and played wiffle ball at the park across the street. We would highly recommend this house to anyone going to the Jersey Shore. The house was very clean and well equipped. The owner's provided everything they promised. We had a great vacation and plan to return next summer!

Nice, Comfortable House, but Across from Noisy Train

This house is very comfortable and has been well maintained. The owner was very accommodating and easy to deal with. We enjoyed our time there and liked eating at the table outside. It also has a nice outdoor shower. The house, however, is on Railroad Avenue with the trains starting at about 6:00 AM and going through to about 2:00 AM about every 30 to 60 minutes. There is no barrier from the train and it is rather noisy, so please take this into account if you are a light sleeper. If the very close proximity of the train does not bother you, this is a nice choice.

great place in a great area. has all the ammenidies, i loved the yard, we had a great barbaque. the road in front of the house is rarely traveled and it was great for my 8 and 11 year old to ride bikes without any worries. i would highly recomend this home to a family with small kids, felt very safe

We had such a wonderful family vacation here in spring lake. The house was well equipt with all we could possibly need. The house is so cozy, and everything was in walking distance.The park,ice cream palor, shopping.,lake,etc. The town has wonderful restaurants and beautiful beaches.If you don't want to go to the beach, you can go to the salt water pool! There is even a locker by the pool to leave all your beach things! See you in the summer.

Well equipped and comfortable beach house

We just spent a great week at this property. It was very clean and nicely furnished. It very comfortably sleeps 10. The cabinets and closets are well stocked with sheets and towels for a large group. The kitchen is also well stocked with everything you might need to entertain and cook for a large group. They even had a closet full of games that we really enjoyed. The outdoor shower was clean and comfortable to use. The location is convenient to the beach, a small picturesque lake, downtown Spring Lake and the highway to other beach towns. The beach/pool badges included with the rental give you access to one of the prettiest, cleanest beaches on the Jersey Shore and 2 swimming pools at the beach so if the ocean is too rough or too calm, you have another place to go. The owner checked in early in the rental to make sure that everything was going well. I have rented four houses in this area over the last 10 years and this is by far the most comfortable. It is a particularly good rental for someone coming from out of state. The only thing you need to bring is your clothes. The rest is there for you. I would highly recommend it to a friend.
