Pete had just remodeled the condo and it was excellent. Our first time staying there but would go back again. I slept on the sofa bed in the living room and it was great. Travel to Panama Beach at least once a year and as always my favorite restaurant is Scampy's. Hope to get back to this condo again next year.

We have rented from Pete and Rose for the last 5 - 6 year (twice a yr most of the time) and wouldn't rent from anyone else. The unit was recently remodeled and is beautiful. We were just there the end of Sept. and have already booked the condo for our spring visit. I would recommend renting from Pete and Rose to anyone of our friends.

Owner response:Cathy and family have been renting from us for several years now as she stated, sometimes twice a year. It is rewarding to have return guests. We value them greatly. Hopefully, others who read this, and try our condo will also return year after year, and enjoy the beach with their families, secure in the knowledge they will also have an enjoyable stay.

My family and I just returned from our vacation. We loved every second of it. The unit was clean and comfy and decorated in a clean "beachy" feel. The views from the balcony are beautiful. Completely unobstructed view of the Gulf-gorgeous. The property was great and everything you need is right there. My husband and I loved the tiki bar right on the pool deck and our kids loved the two large kiddie pools. This is a great family spot this time of year-we have a 3 yr old and 1 yr old and they were thrilled to be here. Such a great place to stay and we were very, very happy. The owners are very nice and easy to work with. We had a wonderful vacation-it ended too soon!

GREAT VACATION

My wife and I stayed in condo 717 for 7 days and could not have asked for a better place to stay. Your door is directly across from the elevator which saves a lot of walking. The condo was just repainted, along with new living room and bedroom furniture.This is one of the cleanest condos that we have stayed in. The condos next to us were rented, but we did not hear any noise at night. There were plenty of towels and linens for the king size bed, which was very comfortable. Ice maker in freezer made plenty of ice for the beach, which is just outside the condo. Balcony overlooks 2 pools and beach, with food on site. Tiki bar had the coldest $1 beer around. You are charged $15 parking fee for the week, but it is worth it for the 24 hour security of your car. Free computers in the lobby to check emails was also a plus. My wife and I would like to thank Pete and Rose for the use of their condo. This was our 2nd visit and hope to stay for 1 or 2 weeks next year.

Awesome trip at the beach! This is our second year in a row staying at Pete's condo. He is easy to work with and gave us excellent rates. We will definitely be back again next year!!

Disappointed

We were disappointed with the room. It was not very clean and the kitchen and bathrooms need work. My children were not satified with the sleeping arrangements. The sleeper sofa was not comfortable as a couch (to sleep on) or folded out to a bed. It needs some TLC and a deep cleaning. Pete did say he was going look into these matters.

Owner response:The main complaint of this renter was the cleanliness of this unit, and she was right. As soon as this was brought to our attention, phone calls were made to correct any issues. We apoligized and gave them the option of a total refund in which to leave and find anouther place to stay. The cleaning person was called to immediatly return and rectify the situation.The renters chose to stay, so we refunded them $300.Their friend stayng in the other unit also complained, so their refund was also increased.The cleaning person and the person overseeing her were both negligent. We now have new cleaning people. We blocked both units and personnaly cleaned them. Furniture was replaced.New carpeting was installed in the bedrooms. The cleaning problem has been resolved, as well as the sofa-bed issue.We feel this was a "last-straw" issue with the cleaning person,for not doing her job. We take great pride in our units, and appreciate our renters informing us when this type of incident occurs. We all want our home-away -from-home to be a pleasant experience. New pictures will be posted of the units as soon as all work is completed. Note: The renters just before this week were very satsfied with the units.No complaints were made in the weeks following this unhappy renter, until our arrival,when we were able to take care of the matter ourselves.

Me and my family have rented from pete and rose the last 3 or 4 yrs have always be very satisfied this last time the unit was not as clean as it usually was I called pete to let him know and he was very concerned and wanted me tell him what was wrong so i gave him my thoughts of what i saw and he was very dissapointed that the cleaning person had not been doing her job and assured me that he would take care of the problem. He emailed my after my vacation to let me know that him and his wife were coming down in august to remodle both units and that he was going to find a new cleaning person. He did just that as you can see the new furniture these owners care about you and your vacation. I will never rent from anybody else! thanks pete and rose cant wait till next year! the jaynes family

My family rented this condo for the week of 4th of July, we had a wonderful time! The views are spectacular, the condo was everything we wanted and more, and Pete, the owner, was very easy to work with! We will definately be back.

My famiily had a really good time at the Summit. If you are going to Panama City beach, I suggest this Condo and unit, because I searched for at least a month for the best deal and this is it. The condo has coffee and doughnuts poolside at 8am, which I enjoyed, and Bikini Bobs restaurant at the condo has great food deals. I will come back! Thanks Pete!

We stayed here from May 2-9, 2009. The unit was lovely, clean, and well equipped. Pete was great to deal with and went above and beyond the call of duty. The Summit is an amazing property and has everything you could want and is right in the middle of PCB. Staff are friendly and helpful. We will definitely rent again.

We rented the condo June 2005. The owners were wonderful to deal with and always responded promptly to phone calls or e-mails. The condo was beautiful and very clean and of course the ocean was beautiful. We look forward to coming back again.
