Wonderful family vacation at The Aberdeen!

The Aberdeen is an absolutely perfect location for a family vacation and a great value. Jim was so easy to work with and bent over backwards to accommodate us. The property is exactly as it's pictured and I was pleasantly surprised to realize you can see the beach from the patio. The kitchen is well stocked and the most impressive thing is the amount of towels and linens provided. Most condos give you about two towels per person so you end up doing laundry every day! Definitely not the case here- I think I only had to do a load of towels twice in the whole week! The beach was a short walk away, but with the amount of stuff we had (coolers, umbrellas, etc..) it was much easier to take the tram. As far as dining goes, Bentley's has some of the best seafood I've ever had and is only a short walk from the condo. However, there are several good restaurants only a short drive away (Seaside mostly). I would recommend this property to families and older couples. The area is very quiet and kid friendly, so if you are looking for a "party beach" this probably isn't the place. However, our group consisted of one couple in their late twenties and another in their late sixties so this was a good fit for what we all wanted. Jim's condo was amazing, but I can provide one warning unrelated to the condo- watch out for snakes close to the beach! Apparently when it gets hot they like to curl up inside the bathrooms next to the beach and boy is that a surprise when you walk into a restroom and find a five foot snake! Otherwise, the beaches are perfect and I would highly recommend this location!

We booked The Aberdeen last minute for a week of spring break. We were so pleased and even surprised with how great everything was. We had never been to the area before and LOVED it! The property is upscale, clean, friendly and is a great location! The area felt so safe too...my kids walked around the area freely and I walked a few miles every morning! The beach is a trolly ride away and the pool is outside the front door. The large pool is further and since it was not heated a bit chilly for the time of year. We spent the majority of our time at the beach. This is not close to Destin...about 30 miles away, Grayton Beach is about 15 mins away. Trust me...you won't want to leave! We plan to come back next year. Go Ahead and Book It...you won't regret it and will want to come back next year!

While we were unable to secure a place in Rosemary Beach, we could not have been more happy here next door in Seacrest. We were smack in between Rosemary & Alys Beach - all within walking distance of each other. It really is a great location and area with those three beaches on the east side of 30A. If you don't mind a little road noise from the traffic on 30A, it truly is a great condo with a great view overseeing beach homes and a view of the water. Being on the 4th floor was a prime spot for us. We loved the layout of the place with the Master near the back with views of the water and the other two bedrooms near the entrance. It was very accommodating and a casual setting. I would recommend this condo to anyone. Thanks for having us! Beth & Alex

Just completed a wonderful stay at the Aberdeen. Very clean, spacious for our family of five. Loved the location. As advertised, easy walk to the beach, restaurants, shops. Shuttles were readily available, but we preferred the short walks. Impressed by the size, beauty of the beach areas in this region as this was our first trip to the panhandle. The owner, Jim, was great to work with. Excellent value for the amenities at the condo. Hope to return in the future.

Awesome Time at the Aberdeen

We stayed at the Aberdeen Friday - Sunday, March 4th-6th. We found the condo to be even better than it looked in the photos. The master bedroom and master bath are amazing--spacious, clean and well-appointed. I LOVED the Jacuzzi tub; I took four baths during our three-night stay! The bath is very large and very deep. Take a great book with you and stay in until your wrinkly. The balcony (which you can access from the Master or the great room) was wonderful also. You can see the ocean and hear the waves, even though you are on the other side of 30-A. The internet connectivity was seamless; I didn't do anything except click on the IE icon and I was up and running on the web. And we were so happy to get to bring our dog-baby Lulu. She got to be a pro at waiting for the elevator to go downstairs for her many walks. We would recommend Paradis in Rosemary Beach, in the square. We went between 5 and 5:45 when the entrees are half-price and had one of the best meals we can remember. Jim Dixon, the owner, was great to work with in renting the condo. He was agreeable and accessible each time I called. Too, he was accommodating and helpful in our making the rental and had several tips on where to eat. We were very glad we took his advice on the Paradis. Even though it got cold during our stay and we didn't get to enjoy the pools, we still had a fabulous time. This place is literally steps from Rosemary Beach. You won't go wrong if you stay at the Aberdeen. We will definitely be back!

My first ever vacation to Florida was staying at The Aberdeen and it was awesome! We had a wonderful time there. Beautiful beach, close to 2 swimming pools. Fun Mexican food and my first Sushi ever at Chops. All within walking distance. Everything you need is in The Aberdeen - it was so very clean when we arrived. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to vacation in Florida.

The condo is beautiful and extremely comfortable! We loved the property with its amenities, the restaurants, the pools, and all of the green space. Everything you need is well within walking distance. We also prepared several meals in the condo and it had everything we needed. The washer and dryer are larger than those that you typically find in a condo and the master bathroom was HUGE. We'll definitely return to Rosemary Beach and this condo!

Thsi condo and location were perfect for a family. The pools are amazing and the beach is gorgeous. Everything was top notch and just as described. We will head back for sure. The inside of the condo is decorated beautifully and is so clean. The whole area is a 10 for sure.

Our family was lucky enough to vacation at "The Aberdeen" this past summer. It was the best vacation our family has ever had in Florida and for that we thank you. The condo was a piece of paradise tucked away from the rest of the world, nestled in the beautiful and peaceful community of The Villages of South Walton. We were impressed with the beautiful condo, decorated in our favorite Pottery Barn style with beautiful furniture and colors throughout. It was tasteful and stylish, unlike the typical outdated beach decor that most beach condos usually resemble. The three bedrooms were all very spacious and furnished nicely. The master bedroom was very appealing and its large master bath was especially incredible with the fabulous jet tub! Our favorite spot was in the living room on the comfy couch that allowed us to relax every evening. We also enjoyed the lovely patio with a glass of wine each night as we watched the fountain that was lit up and accompanied by music. The kitchen was beautiful and with all necessities of home that allowed us to eat in on evenings when our one year old wasn't up for eating out. The lagoon pool was definitely our son's favorite place, and to us it felt like a pool that would be found in a Caribbean resort. The waterfall in the middle of the baby pool was incredible! The way the various pools waterfall into one another was just amazing as well. The pool was definitely the most beautiful pool we have ever seen in all of our vacations in the past. We enjoyed relaxing near the pool taking in the breathtaking views, while our son enjoyed playing for hours in the waterfall within the baby pool. It was a perfect setup for everyone and a beautiful one at that. We enjoyed the restaurants and shops that were just a short elevator ride from our condo. It was great to enjoy a coffee in the mornings as well as lunch in the afternoons without needing to put our son into his car seat to drive for those needs. It was also very convenient to have Rosemary and Seagrove Beaches nearby for meals and shopping too. It was just a short stroll to Rosemary Beach where we enjoyed meals, shopping, and sightseeing through their beautiful community as well. It was a small facility where we could escape the crowds of many other communities and could enjoy the privacy and feel of being secluded from the rest of the world.
