Kohl's Ranch is nestled in the valley of the trout-stocked Tonto Creek, which rushes down from the Mogollon Rim. Enjoy the silence that is only broken by the breezes rustling through the tall Ponderosa Pines that encompass you and the rushing of Tonto Creek.

The cabin has three bedrooms, with two having a king-size bed, which can be split into twins, and one having twin beds.

This is the perfect spot for a romantic anniversary, special occasion, family vacation, or time of quiet reflection and renewal. Deer and elk wander the forest. Set on the side of a hill, you look out across Tonto Creek to an unspoiled mountainside.

At higher than 5000 feet in elevation, you can enjoy temperatures 30 degrees cooler than in Phoenix, but still be less than two hours away. To the west are the shopping, restaurants, and attractions of Payson, and further to the north are the Tonto Natural Bridge and Sedona. To the east are Holbrook and the Sunrise Park Ski Resort.

Walk to the horseback riding stable, or go hiking through the National Forest that is right outside your door. You can also enjoy bicycling, fishing, hunting, wildlife viewing, sightseeing, swimming, or play a round of golf. The surroundings are a photographer's dream, and sightseeing flights depart from Payson Airport.

This log-faced, fully furnished cabin is beautifully maintained and has wood ceilings and wainscotting, a woodstove, central heat, washer and dryer, custom kitchen with microwave, cable TV with DVD player and VCR, a charcoal grill, a covered porch, and a deck.
