My husband and I stayed here along with his parents and our 15 month old and this house was absolutely perfect! The best part is that it was child friendly and I didn't have to do lots of baby-proofing! I love all of the decorations...you can tell they were handpicked and unique. The kitchen has everything you would ever need for the beach...blender, large pot for beaufort stew, baking pans, etc. My husband even fell in love with the infrared grill that is there. The pool water was just a little cool for our little one, but it did entertain us during his naptime. They even have a wagon to haul the little one to the beach with all of the stuff, even though the beach is a very short walk. The property managers were great when the A/C went out and had it fixed within a couple of hours too. I don't have anything bad to say about the house or the location...absolutely perfect!

This was our second trip to Hilton Head and first stay here at Serenity by the Sea. We absolutely loved it. The home is very clean and well maintained. The owner called to make sure we had everything we needed for our week here in Hilton Head. We would highly recommend this property. We rented bikes and enjoyed the bike trails on the island. There is a great little ice cream shop at Coligny Square. The owners also recommended the Sea Shack and it was excellent. We also visited a favorite from last year, Skull Creek Boathouse. We are sad to be leaving and look forward to another trip here in the near future!

Perfect Beach House!

Anne and Jim’s beach home was just marvelous! They are the nicest couple and their home is very well maintained which made our family feel right at home. We were blessed to travel with both my parents and my husband’s again this year (who were celebrating their 39th and 50th wedding anniversaries)! Our kids, ages 2 & 4, had the best time having both sets of grandparents along for their beach vacation. The one-story home was just perfect for all of us, along with the very short walk to the beach! We all had more than enough room and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The most memorable part of our beach vacation was waking up by 6A, time enough to pack a cooler & brew some coffee to take along to the beach. There is something to be said for coffee on the beach at that hour. The kids both brought their bikes and would ride the short little distance which was a big deal for them. Then, we were in the sand by 630A to witness the most breathtaking sunrises, ever! They were priceless and could not get enough of them (as we did that every morning as a family). Our 4 year old even said, “Mom, I can see God in that sunrise” and that we did. We certainly enjoyed the brilliant conversations with the locals taking their morning strolls for the day & it was the perfect setting to let the kids play. We visited all of our favorite eateries such as Boathouse, Sea Shack, The Old Oyster Factory, Black Marlin’s and Roastfish & Cornbread (we actually found Chef David’s recipe online for his scrumptious cornbread…which tastes like the best dessert in town)! In the afternoon, we could relax in the mostly shaded pool, which was more than perfect for all of us! Thank you again for sharing your island paradise with our family and we’ll certainly be back soon! Sincerely, T.N.

This was our second stay at 6 Jacana Drive in HH. If possible the home was even more beautiful than the first with a new kitchen. Serene is an absolute great description of Anne and Jims home and location on the island. Everything and more is there at your disposal and there home is beautiful. They go above and beyond to make your stay as nice as can be. You never want to leave. Our two daughters ,husbands and two grandchildren join us. We celebrated our granddaughters first birthday while vacationing. What a great place to make memories. For the second time members of our family went on a shark fishing trip,absolutely had a grand time. Beach is close and quiet. Thanks again Anne and Jim

We had a great vacation at the Brolleys'. The house was lovely, and location perfect. The house is even nicer than it looks online. The kitchen was great; I was inspired to bake homemade peach pie, and to buy utensils that matched theirs! We were nervous about pool access with small kids but the door locks were really secure and reassuring. Our kids (3, 6, and 9) all LOVED the pool and we were in it every day, often for HOURS. The beach is a fabulous two-block walk. Biking was great. We saw 'gators and caught a baby shark and overall couldn't be more pleased with our vacation choice.

Just got back from HHI and our first stay at 9 Jacana. What an amazing experience, it was everything we hoped for and more. The convenience of everything provided by the owners was great. We had five children, under the age of 6, and it was so nice to stay at a child friendly home. The location was perfect, close enough to Coligny shopsto walk to, did it with 3 of the kids and it was no problem, but far enough away that you don't have to deal with the crowds. The beach was a walk up the street, close enough to run back to the house for lunch or to get something that may have been forgotten. The pool in the backyard kept the kids entertained for hours. I would definitely recommend this rental property and am looking forward to planning my next vacation at Serenity by the Sea.

We just returned yesterday and we have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place. They thought of everything in this house! Anything that we happened to forget, they would have! It was amazing. The house is beautiful, clean, well kept. The pool was fantastic. We chose to have it heated and it felt like a bath tub!! It was wonderful for our young kids because they didn't like the cold water. We will definitely be going back to this house next year!!!

What a wonderful stay! The location to the beach was just the perfect distance to easily walk each day with 2 young children (5 and 2) even with arms full of beach toys and towels. The house was beautifully decorated and we felt instantly relaxed and welcome as soon as we walked in. It was awesome to have our very own private pool which was much larger than ones we saw in homes even twice the size of this one. Our family has many wonderful memories of our visit to Hilton Head this year and we are so glad that we chose this house.

Location, Location, Location!!! This house is in close proximity to the beach as well as Coligny. We have two small children so being close to the beach is important with all of the gear we had to haul. We loved the Ice Cream Cone for a snack, Coligny Bakery for breakast which is ten short blocks from the house. The house itself has all of the amenities including an updated kitchen. The private pool was terrific as well. I would definitely recommend staying here.
