This is a phenomenal location for any ski enthusiast or first-timer and at a price that is significantly less than other options located on Peak 7 and 8 such as One Ski Hill Place and Crystal Peak Lodge ---- yet with the same quality interior. Enjoy the comfort & convenience of being right on the slopes and having immediate access to a variety of trails -- novice, intermediate, advanced and expert. There are two high-speed quadchairs directly in front of Skiwatch, the Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Superchairs. Just put on your skis and head 100 yards down the hill to catch a ride. Peak 8 has over 1100 skiable acres out of the 2358 acres available in Breckenridge. Peak 7 has over 300 acres which can be accessed from Peak 8. Peaks 9 and 10 are connected by lifts with Peak 8. The Ski School and Kids' Castle are located at the base area below our building. Breckenridge lift tickets are interchangeable with Arapahoe Basin, Keystone, and other Vail Resort Ski Areas. The base area also has the Ski Hill Grill restaurant, T-Bar lounge and a ski shop. You can also access the BreckConnect gondola, which transports you to Peak 7 or directly into town, where you will find restaurants, shopping, breweries and the Breckenridge night life.
The building has attached, private, covered parking on two levels, so no need to worry about the elements when coming to or from your car. In the last two years, the building has undergone extensive interior and exterior renovations to update décor and improve appearance.

The property is located at the base of Peak 8 ski area in Breckenridge, Colorado. There are two restaurants within walking distance of the condo in case you want to forgo a trip into town. Sevens, located at the base of Peak 7 and The Living Room which is in One Ski Hill Place located below Skiwatch. If you prefer a night out, take the time to walk around on Main Street where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. It's a very quaint town and has tremendous character.

About the owner: My parents started taking my four brothers and our sister on ski trips to Breckenridge from our small town in northeastern Kansas back in 1977. We fell in love with the place so much so that we returned every year. We have many fond memories of our time at Breck and can't believe it has been over 30 years since we first visited. We all currently reside in the Kansas City area and continue to spend time there in the winter but we make it a point to go back during the summer too. It's great to be able to take our kids to a place we enjoyed so much growing up.
Why the Owner Chose Skiwatch: When we traveled from our hometown to Breckenridge, Skiwatch was the very first unit we ever stayed in. From that point on, we always returned and grew accustomed to the convenience of simply putting on our gear and skiing down to the lifts. When the unit was up for sale, we didn't hesitate a minute and it has remained in our family ever since. We started renting it shortly after we bought it so that other families could enjoy it as much as we had. We recently remodeled the entire unit, tearing it down to the studs. We made significant modifications and our desire was to update it in such a way as to provide a wow factor for anyone who stays here. Based on the feedback, and the fact that recent building renovations incorporated our design elements, we succeeded in our efforts. We added a full bath to the upstairs bedroom, created a more open concept kitchen/living area and expanded room for storage. It is spacious and comfortable.
Breckenridge is a great area. It is unlike other ski resort destinations in that the town was here long before anyone took to the slopes. Gold was first discovered along the Blue River, which runs through town, in 1859. Breckenridge does contain more than 350 historic structures, making it the largest historic district in the state of Colorado. It is a great town to walk around in with plenty of shops and great restaurants to choose from. It has charm and character which always brings us back.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo: There is no doubt that the greatest feature of this unit is the fact that you can grab breakfast, put on your ski outfits, put on you skis, and head down to the lift. It is so convenient that it's hard to beat. When you are tired or hungry, just ski in and take a rest. With the sun out and shining on the deck in the afternoon we have often found ourselves sitting outside to enjoy the weather.
