CD and Jeanne developed a love of the desert southwest as newlyweds. There is nowhere else they would rather be, and they enjoy offering guests a personal opportunity to develop the same sort of connection. Jeanne is a consummate desert naturalist, with a wide lore of regional plants and animals, and enjoys practicing old-fashioned homesteading skills on the Ranch. CD is a computer and communications engineer, and an NRA certified instructor in pistol and rifle disciplines. They breed and sell mixed retrievers to adoptive families all across the US and Canada.

I just wanted to say a little thank you for your hospitality during our stay. We stayed as a large group May 13-16. This was the first visit to Arizona for us. We really enjoyed the stay. and we loved all the dogs… Fergus, Luke, Honey Bear, Heidi, and Sandy! And we wished that we had the chance to ride the horses too, but it was nice to just spend a little time with them. Our visit to Arizona made me want to move there. I think that the ranch would be a great place to live! I just loved our stay so much that I truly did not want to leave. I would love to be able to come back some time and be able to spend some real time at the ranch. Our kids liked it there and were kind of sad that we didn't get to spend much time there (too many errands and plans, that kept us away from the ranch) but you have such a lovely place. We really did love being there! I just want to thank you again for the stay... we loved it!

We enjoyed our stay here at Liberty Haven Ranch more than thought possible. The dogs, horses, and Burrito and all the desert critters really aded to our desert experience. The Bunkhouse was extremely comfortable and suited us perfectly. e would be grasping at straws to make things better, but if we had to pick… for convenience purposes only, a small BBQ and a lounge chair for our deck, and maybe a blender to make a slushy drink or two! Thank you for being great hosts!
