  I have been remiss in getting my review posted for this wonderful rental property. This location & rental property were perfect solutions to for my family's vacation needs. The property pictures and description were very accurate representations of the property. Upon arrival, Larry, the owner/manager was there to greet us, provide us keys, and instructions. We found the property to be clean and roomy with plenty of amenities. Larry was very friendly, open, and honest in his dealings. I highly recommend this vacation rental in paradise!

  My family of 6 (4 adults, 2 teens), just spent two glorious weeks in this house. When we first found it on VRBO, we knew we wanted it and hoped it would be as good as it looked, it easily surpassed our expectations. We arrived around 9 in the evening and Larry was waiting with info in hand (so sorry we kept you waiting Larry!). First thing we all noticed was how clean the home was, spotless. Next thing we noticed was the sound of the crashing of the waves! During our stay, we found the home and outside gazebo were fully stocked with everything we could possibly think of, and more. We were pleasantly surprised to find an outside bathroom - very handy for keeping sandy foot traffic to a minimum and for running down from the gazebo rooftop. There is a Safeway close by which made it easy to stock up. Past guests have left items too so we didn't have to purchase everything, we left a few things for the next guests. Thank you 'Denise' and girlfriends for leaving your Oahu revealed book behind, great reference. The views from the front yard, beach, top of the gazebo, from our upstairs lanai...incredible. We were lucky enough to see whales almost daily from our front yard (binoculars came in handy). The water out front is shallow and safe but rocky. We brought our own water shoes but there are some at the house, in addition to snorkel gear, flippers, boogie boards. The crashing of the waves will lull you to sleep but if you are a light sleeper like me, the roosters start around 4 am...keep earplugs handy. This is no reflection on the house, roosters are everywhere on the island. Larry was gracious enough to let us have a later checkout as we had a late flight, much appreciated. So hard to leave this house, we can't wait to return. Thank you Larry!

  We had 3 couples stay in this home and it worked very well. The home was clean with plenty of room. We had everything we needed for a relaxing visit to Oahu. The owner, Larry, is very friendly and great to work with. We hated to leave this "oasis" but all good things come to an end. If we come back to Oahu, we'll try to stay here again. Highly recommend this home in "paradise".

  Our family stayed here in January. It was hard to leave. The property is beautiful. It has extremely nice outdoor space and the beach is beautiful. You can walk for a long way and see both sunrises and sunsets. The neighborhood is not particularly upscale (if that is important to you) but it's very quiet and friendly. The house was well taken care of and the view from the ocean facing bedrooms is spectacular. There are close by grocery stores and we walked to farmers market one morning that was quite nice. It's also in an area that makes all parts of Oahu very accessible. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Nice job Larry!

  We stayed in a hotel in Waikiki our first night and were SO ready to get away from the crowds. When we arrived at the beach house the next day, I could not have been more pleased. The pictures do not do this property justice. The view is spectacular and the home and grounds are extremely well kept. Staying here gets you out of the big city and away from crowds, but you are still within a short distance of grocery stores, shopping and dining places. The sounds of the ocean put us to sleep nightly and we spent many hours on the deck, balcony, and back porch enjoying the view. As a single Mom with my 2 children my qualifications were 1. Safe, 2. Clean/free of pests 3. Nice Scenery. This property more than covered my expectations. My only regret about staying here was that our stay was not longer. I would highly suggest this location and will definately look forward to returning someday.

  We arrived in Oahu at 10:30 p.m. We arrived at the property at 11:20 with the owner waiting for us with the keys and details about the house. We were quite tired from our travels from Virginia and Michigan, so we promptly were asleep listening to the waves on the beach. We found everything to be available at the house. Shopping was close by and we found the house location convenient for our needs. Our stay was short, only 4 days but we would definitely recommend the house and would love to come back and stay longer. Went to sleep with the trade winds flowing through the house & the pleasant sound of the surf on the beach.

  Date 6/20-24 this was exactly as you see the pictures it was excellent loved breakfast onthe lanai. Ewa beach was easy to get to everything. Eat at one shopping center. It has the Mexican , Thai, and Chinese restaurants. Well equipped kitchen. Most of Island is fast food except for Honolulu. Do drive around the island. It's worth the time.

  We took our adult children and the in-laws for a week and were very comfortable in this wonderful home. The listing and pictures were exactly as shown. Although our flight was about 8 hours late, Larry met us at the home, which was an easy drive from the airport. I was a little concerned that there was no air-conditioning in the home, but it isn't necessary with the cool breeze coming in from the sea. Wonderful view and an excellent location. I can still hear the waves washing onto the beach...

  This was our third visit to Oahu. We loved the house and night views abound. The location was ok but we found ourselves driving quite a bit. We were with 2 other couples and everyone had ample space without feeling cramped. We really enjoyed our week here. Thanks much!

  I have been very remiss in not writing a review, since this was such a terrific place to stay! My husband and I took our two young adult children and his elderly mother to Oahu for a week, and we were apprehensive about being able to enjoy the vacation with our children and his mom. Not to worry! The recreation room and sundeck (or moon deck!) was a great place to escape to, and the house and surrounding yard was large enough to spread out. The beach is literally in your back yard-nothing between you and the waves! The owner was great-if we needed anything, he was right there, and very friendly. I never wanted to go back to Oahu after my first visit because it seemed too crowded and busy. The Ewa Beach House is off the beaten path, yet still close enough to stores and other "city" amenities. It changed my mind about Oahu!
